Well, just say what type of gamer you are, and we'll tell you what's best... of course you have the last word on it. ISS: casual gamers, often non-combat stuff Orion: heavy assault fleet, relatively high commitment Prime: Standard medium fleet, do about all and has nothing special. Wraith: special operation, lot of different activities [rp]Insurgency: BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD , but that opinion can be contested... [/rp] -
Hehehe. Amen. But only GCO is an MMORPG, and I'll find a way to have money to play it, that'd for sure. I'm worried about that... even 10$ a month is a lot... but in fact it isn't... argh! I hate being choked by the money!...

Mifix.net is a linux(unix) server that fully support cgi scripts and all SSI stuff. Proof: the www.mifix.net "homepage" is made out of cgi scripts. Oh, and don't be scared by the look of the mavhine... it's working very well, that's the important.

Just a small question... Is there still people using the rating system? I haven't done so in a while... still bearing my 3.92 score for 19 votes... Anyone want to apply for my vote?

quote:Internet poster Epsilon 5 today change his long hatred of the U.S stating that he welcomes the U.S. military in its efforts to make the world a safer place. In other news Chinese troops today landed in British Columbia... Hehehe... They're far from my home. First, I never said i disliked the us army, it's only that I think they're exagerating. Second, Canada has a VERY good relationship with China, so we are less likely to be attacked by diplomatic and commercial partners. Third, our 20 boats and few thousands soldiers won't win the war.

Hey, about the violent crime rates... I though it would be highter than that for canada... about 2/3 of US rates... we have about 1/3 to 1/4...

I’m back !!! One detail: the warmongers have their IFF emitters modified so they are seen as UCV ships. [rp] 10:00, 12th may 3008 GCV-StalkerIV Bridge “They are still not responding”, said Kate, after about a dozen hails. “I had enough. Let’s…” Lawrence interrupted me. “Sir, the Outlaw star launched a shuttle in direction of the Deathstrike!” This is bad! They are meeting! I must not let him know about the mission… “Take us close! Lawrence, charge weapons and lock onto the Outlaw Star! Shields at maximum! Launch all fighters, strike load, and await my command! Ariane, get 10 ready marines into the transporter! Kate, hail them, strong signal!” If he get to know about the mission… argh… it could go wrong… they might band up togheter, and fight back… or something! Stress control ON… [/rp]

Oh, more... Crimes of violence, US, 1999: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/pub/pdf/cvus99.pdf 7,357,060 crimes, 32.8 per 1,000 people Crimes of violence, Canada, 1999: http://www.statcan.ca/english/Pgdb/State/Justice/legal02.htm The national population in 1999 was 30,493,900 There were 291,330 violenty crimes A ratio of 9,6 per 1000 people!!! (Note: I did not included nor calculated crimes like theft, I'm more concerned about crimes that hurt.) [ 05-30-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

quote:PERIOD, once your guns in Canada were gone your crime rate SKYROCKETED!!! Without guns the only one with guns are criminals!!! And let me tell you they use them!!! You have what? 30 million citizens in Canada? your crime rate per capita is higher then the US by a wide margin, and when did that happen? ROTFLMAO! And I'm hearing that from an american! POUAHAHAHAHAHA! *ahem* You can't be serious! Where have you got that info? I consider Canada to be quite safe. I mean, you have crimes like in any country, but it's nothing serious. In the US you have to watch your back unless you're walking a a small village. Even kids in your schools are more violent. I spoke to people from many states saying they must know how to defend themselves, because they could get beaten up for any valid or non-valid reasons. I NEVER FOUGHT OF MY LIFE, BECAUSE I NEVER HAD TO! Oh right, maybe we have more thefts than in us, but our VIOLENT crime is much lower, I'm sure of that... In Canada and 1999 (the latest stats I could find), we had 536 homicides, and it have been decreasing, a rate of 1.76 for 100,000 people. In US and in 1999, you had 15,533 homicides, that makes a rate of 5,7 for 100,000 people. Now tell there is more violent crimes in Canada that in US

What I think it says of the United states: - US is on a power trip - US is becoming the "it is so because I said so"-type country. We are the masters! - US don't believe in international threats, which they should. - The US is unable to comply to the Kyoto threaty, so they are finding way to escape it. They think economy is more important than our survival. - US don't like to be restrained of their ations by international treaties and actions. "We are the masters and we will do our own rules, end of the line." - The ABM treaty expiring? Sure. Then the right to bear arms should expire, it's much older, and a lot of countries are alright without this. quote:(2) To maintain the peace by acting as the world's foremost anti-proliferator. Weapons of mass destruction and missiles to deliver them are the greatest threat of the 21st century. - Because "we" are the only ones who should build these weapons. - Satellites and shuttles cannot resist a milimeter-sized pellet, how will you be able to fight in space with experimental rainguns (they do exist, 30,000k/s)? - US think they are nearly invincible, and think they will become soon enough. I don't like the United states very much (doesn't apply for the people in it), they are thinking that they are the truly most powerful country, and in no way they can be stopped. What I'm afraid is that if ever a war wages against the US, the canadians will be attacked before the US itself, because you never attack your opponent directly when you are speaking of superpowers, or even hyperpowers. I'm gonna be hit for that one. [ 05-30-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

Is it me, or the ads will do a good part of the job (to sell the game)?

I suppose memorial day is an american thing, cause I've haven't heard anything about over here. Anyway... *salute* to all who died with honor and for the honor of their country! [ 05-29-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

ask Blades. We have that forum on our website. -
LOL! Well, with a good drawing with that phrase, you'll make laught a lot of people.

Well, it's a question of moderation. If the level of ads is acceptable, I'll buy the ads version. If it's ruining the game, I'll take the un-ads version. But how to hide them then? The ads we're speaking are ads on billboads. If you were thinking of popups or fixed banners when you go to connect screen (like in diablo), then hell no. But a Nvidia billboard in the middle of nowhere could be funny.
