Here's the file For my textures I only played with brightness and contrast, nothing more. Of course you have to find the right balance. I need to redo my silver-red Zenstar, that was truly a jewel for me, shame I lost it I simply take the pics in the BCstudio. As for the pics I like B and C most, the 2 others are a bit too much. As an advice for improvement I suggest you make sure the light sources (engines, windows, etc) stay clear and bright. In picture D it almost looks like you threw the ship in a pool of mud.

do you have a keyword filter?

I can't see the pictures ATM, but I once started working on textures to add more "shinyness" to the ships, and it worked pretty well. I also had a red and silver Zenstar but I believe I lost the texture. Garid Warmonger

The downside of the game is that it still crashes alot, although it has improved alot since the ~2 months I've been playing. If you cannot tolerate crashes and get frustrated easily, don't play the game. The servers are ALL in germany, as Reakktor is a german company, so don't expect pings under 100 ... interplay released FS2 complete source code a while ago, maybe there's something that can be done with that? ahh you own server huh? I have a server myself, although I don't do too much with it. win2kpro machine, apache 2.x, I have php installed, I run a phpbb2 forum for my Neocron clan (most players seems relunctant to use it .. they don't see a need, not that I can blame them) and mysql is my database system .. i also run a ftp server using the free (yet limited) mode of serv-u .. it all sits on 3500/800kbps ADSL line I have a dynamic IP and use www.dyndns.org's redicrection service using the free program DeeEnEs to update my ip each time I restart the computer. works nicely

I still remember that thing about the electric wheel-motor that Hydro-Qu├®bec developped and had already made a few working prototypes, supposed to change everything soon, only to get tanked by the big oil companies ... oh well
