  1. Just bought the DVD and watched it .. starts slow, but omg, it's deep, and cool both at once ... wow Tomorrow I'll be watching windtalker, 3-disc DVD collector's set
  2. quote:Topic: This guy needs to play BCMG Need to start by making BCMG support mega-surround gaming a little too much evem for me
  3. quote:almost as bad as the movie starship troopers.Bah, if you get the movie just for the shooting and SFX it ain't bad. Granted it doesn't have a deep story, but it gots guns, guns, and more guns
  4. You know, I actually thought you were talking about Planetside weapons
  5. Well, that's original won't try it though.
  6. EnB character creation was ├╝ber. Doesn't make the game any better all I hear from SWG is it's a star wars EQ where everyone want to be a jedi or want to hunt jedis
  7. I have a xp2000+ running on a ECS K7S5A, it has onboard audio, lan, agp 4x, 3 slots of SDR AND 3 slots for DDR ram (one type at a time), max of 1.5gig of ram, I don't know how higher the cpu can be. I paid 87 canadian for it about 6 months ago, I saw one for 50 US on newegg by checking quick. Considering you're on a budget I'd reccomend that mobo. oh and it runs on the SIS 735 chipset.
  8. wrong forum.
  9. so, no one cares?
  10. quote:(trust me if you saw how much they cheated in beta, finding exploits and using them.) then you wouldn't even want to join TRConsidering I am part of the 2nd best TR outfit on Konried (after those invite-spammers ELH with over 600 people) I have nothing to be ashamed of. We have 100 people (about 80 unique, considering many are 2nd chars) and about 60 people in the outfit are ex-jumpgate players who know each other.
  11. That review is pathetic, PATHETIC I say, the reviewers (if you can call them so) didn't even bothered to do the most basic troubleshooting.
  12. go to http://www.bccforum.net/ and all you get is quote:mass deface by noosardy and system security crew :no warsBlades, I thought you were a server admin
  13. To anyone wondering about PS, here are a bunch of fanmades movies, very good quality, a bit large for dial-up though, but excellent if you consider getting the game. Some details in the movies are outdated, but nothing major (i.e. corpses are not coffins anymore, but backpacks, and some weapon effects changed) Those 3 show the game in general Click here Click here Click here This one shows how fun it is to fly the reaver heavy gunship WARNING the music is loud! This one shows what you can do as an infiltrator with combat engineering skill This one is much smaller, and plain funny This one is a promotional video for the outfit that made the movies, scripted, it's nonetheless very cool. I, for one, am very happy of how Sony handles the game. Sony ARE plowing loads of cash in the game AND they are working on improving the game, no seriously, they are! 14. hmm .. I played for 10 mins then I CTDed ... but unless there's MORE further ahead it's still very easy. Oh and it runs perfectly smooth. And I'm on the mouse control. And I didn't upgraded anything. pfft.
  15. Congrats, you earned it.
  16. I'm having a good time though in the Engrish section
  17. Hey, i didn't make the killboard for my faction in Planetside twice for nothing And btw, I always play with the Sunflash. i can,t stand the slow hyperdrive times for the bigger ships. The easyness of the game is another reason why I want the GBS, so I can give me a challenge. i want to try fighting 20 various ships using my sunflash
  18. my point exactly, I want the enemy to be harder more often. There's nothing challenging to me in the game, except for the stations that kill you before anyone can blink an eye (unless you,re cloaked, then you can get in position and kill it just like you want)
  19. then you changed it after I made my post, cos I didn't touched that part
  20. so what? I like going against bad odds .. and to win ... sometimes
  21. i had the BCG specs in another window .. see the dots instead of dashes? that's cos I copy pasted the dots in the specs and cut the unnecessary stuff. And the PS stuff is from the box and what do you mean by ps/vs versions? according to this page my information is correct.
  22. I don't know about other people, but personally combat in BCM is very easy for me. I can kill ships and fighters in little time, and unless I screw up, I never die, or to the least, rarely suffer heavy damage. I believe that derek stated the enemy average AI levels increase as your crew AI increase, but this can take very long under unfavorable conditions. Is there a way to start a game and fight more skilled opponents right from the start?
  23. Suprisingly good. And I like that for once, the sky isn't all clouds, or no clouds (or stars, for the matter)
  24. bah, the requirements for Planetside are even higher than BCGs ... BCG minimum (resumed) ┬À Pentium III 1Ghz or equivalent AMD processor ┬À 128MB RAM ┬À 32MB DirectX 9 compliant graphics card with vertex shader - 1 gig hard drive space Planetside minimum - Pentium 3 1ghz - 256mb ram - GF2 class vidcard with 64mb vidram - 3 gig hard drive space - dx8.1 BCG reccomended ┬À Pentium IV 1.7Ghz or equivalent AMD processor ┬À 256 MB RAM ┬À 64MB DirectX 9 compliant graphics card with pixel & vertex shader Planetside reccomended - Pentium 4 1.8ghz - 512mb ram - GF4 class vidcard with 128mb vidram - 3.5gig hard drive space So unless SOE does such a thing (banking institution for the unwell equipped people), I doubt Derek will
