I am looking to buy a scanner and maybe a printer. Since I don't know anything about scanners and not so much about printers, what's the best place to ask for advice other than here. So far this is the scanners that I picked out. Please feel free to post comments (which of the scanners is better) and any other scanners that you can suggest that are similarly priced. Choice #1 Choice #2 Choice #3 Also, the question about the printer is which ones are good for printing out photo quality pictures from the cd you get when you develop your photos or from the 35mm film you can scann into your computer. Light sail was introduced in Star Treck Deep Space Nine. Cisco and his son constructed a ship together that unfolded the sails that captured the light particle pressure accelerating it. It was pretty cool.

After you do a fresh install, be sure that you apply the patch from inside the directory that BCM is installed in (copy the patch into BCM folder and double click on it).

It's been discussed and problem fixed. What version of BCM are you playing?

What really got me thinking is intercontinental missles. I couldn't figure out how they would get from continent to continent if Earth wouldn't be flat (don't know much about balistics), but they made perfect sence if the Earth would be flat, hmmm... interesting. Also, I was thinking, what if Earth IS flat, and that flat Earth is a pitri dish, and we are all a bunch of microbes that someone is studying in that pitri dish.

But, I can disprove that idea very easily. As a pilot I know about navigation, and guess what, the planes don't take a direct route from NY to Europe, they actually *bend* their course towards the northern pole because of the roundness of the Earth, and it would take less time (distance) to travel from North America to Europe if you are closer to the pole as upposed taking a course that would be closer to the equator (more distance/time). As you can see the picture of their flat Earth, taking a course along the northern pole (toward greenland)is unnecesarily bending a direct route and would actually make the trip longer, so therefore their theory doesn't work. Yeah, there's even a flat earth society. They believe that the earth is flat and have meetings and clubs and such. Weird.

Yeah, Warcraft I was the very first game that I bought for PC. It was great, I was looking with bewilderment at how I could order this little guys to build stuff, cut wood, mine. It was great. Many games later I bought Warcraft II. The experience detiriorated a little. It was kinda like the other RTS games. Then I played Starcraft. Now that renewed my whole interest in RTS games. Since that, no RTS game has ever measured up, and I mean NONE. When news of Warcraft III came out, I was exited, but after following it for a while I gradually started to cool down, and now it just looks like just another RTS with pretty graphics, there's literally dozens of them on the shelf in EB. They all look pretty much the same. Anyhow, I don't know, but somehow nothing can live up to Starcraft, just something about that game that captures your attention. So, my take on Warcraft III is not so good, it looks too much like all the other RTS.

Congratulations with the move. I know how that can be a pain, packing, unpacking, ugh..... Anyhow, whens the housewarming party?

Nothings wrong with that. Just seems weird that it's coming from an American company, I mean Japan is the expert in that area so that's where you would actually expect a game with anime graphics to be coming from. [ 06-11-2002, 03:05: Message edited by: Soback ]

They were proven guilty. They have arabic voices in black box records, ATC, and the people on the plane saw the arabs hijack it with their own eyes, and when they called they said that it was arab men. Then the FBI took the documents and deducted from the people who were on board, which men were arabic. Then they established their identity and that's how they came up with the exact persons that hijacked those planes. Now what more do you want? For those dead scum to rise up and seat in court, stand trial and say that it wasn't them? Or do you think that it wasn't the arabic men who were seen carrying box cutters on the plane prior to take off? Do you think the passengers were mistaken when they called and said that the arab men have taken over the plane with box cutters. Do you think that the black box and ATC tapes didn't hear the arabic accents. Maybe you even think that those planes didn't crash into the trade centets, and those buildings are still standing there and all those people are still alive? What are you? Completly ignorant?

Funny you brough up the point about Japanese style wings. I was looking through the screenshots and all the characters have Japanese anime style faces. Just seems strange considering the game is being made in US by US company. I would understand it if the game was Japanese, but this just seems strange. Yeah, of course it's not the majority of Americans who think that those arabs were the terrorist. I personally think that it could have been those 4 white nuns sitting next to them, and the other 2 granies that trained for 5 years just so that they could fake an arabic accent for the ATC and the black box.

They have been delaying it forever and ever and ever. So I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they would either delay the game again or just plain out cancel it. Also, I saw the 2 movies on combat, (scroll down a little bit, and see the 2 movie links) and it just looks SO arcade that it made me wonder why the game is in development so long. I mean where's the tense moments like in starfleet command, where's the tactical aspect of a fight? You just see the ship coming, and try to get off as many shots as you can (which doesn't seem to be a problem). So when they said the fights are Diablo style, they weren't kidding, point and click, annoying and boring. No tactics, no suspense = prety graphics, short lived. How about kids then? Those terrorists kill kids almoust every single time a bomb goes off.

That is a good plan. Just make a global fund raiser and buy that land for Palestinians and split the profits between Pakistan and India.

As you know those 2 have been at it for a long time, but now the situation has become very tense. Do you think India will invade Kashir and if a war breaks out, do you think they will start lobing nukes at each other?

Oh, so instead of maybe letting out the civillians out of the bus and then fighting the soilders or attacking some military base, they figured why not, let's blow up civillians along with the soilders, hey they are all Jewish after all.

An amateur opinion is an opinion of someone who obviously has no knowledge on the matter but will start spewing out all kinds of noncence based on all kinds of made up things. That's exactly why I didn't post any reasons as to why Israel might be attacked on the 6th, because someone who is informed and knows the history will know exactly what I am talking about, but if I would post the reasons then anyone, even a ten year old can butt in and say something based just on the 1 paragraph explanation I might have given, not knowing the long history behind the whole thing, and that's why I said that amateur opinions are not wanted, but rather opinions from those people who are monitoring and are informed in the whole middle east situation.
