Lol. Nah Shirley belongs exclusively to Epsilon 5. We wouldn't want to deprive Ep5 of that honour now do we?

"SOMEBODY KICK SHIRLEY IN THE ARSE FOR BEING A COMPLETE IDIOT!" I'd quite like to see that really, especially if it will be on the front page of PC Zone.
-
The truth is I really wanted the series to be in Sulu's timeline instead of this one. And no, I'm not a trekkie (even though I watched all of the available episodes, movies and every Trek related game available. )

I'm just looking for an excuse to get a new video card. When I bought my Kyro II, I ordered the wrong one online, damn scroll function on my mouse got me into more trouble than I'd like to remember. I wanted the one with the Video output so I can play games on my TV instead of my poxy 19" monitor.
-
My main computer (AMD 1.4 gig) has a KyroII 64 Mb on it. What are your opinion on this card when running the game? If this card is bad it's not really a biggie as I have several other cards to play with ( a Voodoo 3 and two TNT). It is however my best card for the moment until next month if the powers to be (daddy) sends me a GF3 Ti 500 as a belated birthday present. Both demo runs perfectly well on both the TNT and the Kyro (haven't tried Voodoo 3 yet as it's really old). Just curious thats all.

Civ Call to power II. It's in the bargain bin now. And if you like that you can try Birth of the Federation. (I'm not a trekkie ) [ 10-04-2001: Message edited by: Fendi ]

Nova thank you for welcoming me. I feel so.....complete now.
-
But you haven't welcomed me yet *sniff*
-
Nova relax, he's done his time and has apologized. We all should be given a second chance right? I could have sworn I've seen more posts from him before. Bah!! It's just my insomnia playing tricks on me again (it's almost 2 in the morning here).

Hi there nice to have you here. You're not alone with the 56k modem as I'm also in the same boat as you are. I've been waiting for my cable modem for about a year now. (Thread Hijack) Lets start a countdown for when Fendi joins a fleet. Only Paddy seems to know what Fendi is going to be.

A nice lady named Jen from Bmt Micro just E-mailed saying my copy will be out soon sometime this month. Yippie!!

Sniff....You never welcomed me when I was a newbie Nova. I feel so left out....Sniff *Heads off to cry by himself* Oh and Enderlin don't buy B3K, get BCM as it's more up to date and besides why buy something when it's free.

Yes Dr Zoidberg I figured you'll say something about that. But no I still can't pay you yet for this treatment as I'm still trying to finish of your last bill. Yes Im still taking them pills you prescribed to me Funny thing is Dr that I actually want to be a pilot and given half the chance I'd love to return back in time and change history and not drop out from the flight academy. Perhaps it could be my fear of letting someone else fly the plane instead of me....like letting my wife drive my 200SX, no?

quote:Ghost and Paranormal phenomona happens in a house or building where people or a person were murdered brutally. Well there's 6,500 or somthing people who are probably dead there. It'll become the most haunted site in the world if ghosts are real...And I've had a few encounters that made me believe I know what you mean....I wake up next to one in the morning. Joke I also come from a far east background so I know what you mean. On a serious note I don't know if I should tell you guys this but from a week before this incident I kept having this recurring nightmare that makes me wake up in sweat every morning. The dream starts by me, my wife and my daughter boarding a plane to Florida for our holiday. This seems quite normal as we are supposed to go on a long trip to the U.S (for Christmas but now cancelled due to obvious reasons). Here comes the weird part, the dream always ends with me holding my baby tight as the plane begins it's descent to crash for some unknown reason. Even wierder still? This recurring nightmare stopped after the 11/9 incident. I know this may sound like a major bull-shite but it's a true story and can be backed-up by my wife and close friends. I'm not a pshycic (if I were I wouldn't have made the mistakes I made in life) even though some of my family and ancestors are allegedly one. Frankly I don't believe in those mumbo jumbo bomoh-voodoo-excorcism-crap but I still think that it's wierd that it happened to me. I didn't want to tell this story too soon but the worst of the initial shock has ended as it's been several weeks now since the incident. And no despite my antics I am not crazy. I wonder how the Titanium series will affect the prices of the current generation of GeForce 3s. I have already seen a GeForce3 priced at only 260 pounds (normally it's around 300 pounds) and that was before the announcement. If it goes down to the sub 200 pounds mark, I guess it's time for an "interim" upgrade while waiting for the Ti to get cheaper (or I get a Christmas gift). On a side note it's 2.30 in the morning and I can't sleep. I keep seeing a brown package dropping from my letterbox with a certain game in it. I guess I can officially say I'm obsessed with this game.....

quote:i believe you can also check out software, bring it home, try it out and then return it. if you like it, you can then buy it. saves on wasting money That is true as my classmate does that a lot in EBuk. But consider this, if you are feeding a family your a drop from $1824 per month (8 hours, 6 days a week) to $1440 is quite big. At the moment I myself only get around 1000 pounds per month (in England that means squat especially if you had to drive 60 miles to and fro everyday to Uni) and even though the house is paid for it is definately not enough. But since Scrivener's profile says he's a student (assuming you live in dorms) I say go for it. If you are like me (married mature student) then I say stick with it. You can always get a better job once you've finished your studies and then you'll have the last laugh. [ 10-02-2001: Message edited by: Fendi ]

Oh thats okay then just trying to help. But you got to admit, this comunity is the most helpful one any of us has been to so far. Imagine seeing an exchange like this in the CS forums. I'd be damn shocked!!

Out of curiosity how old are you? If you are young enough you could wait little while longer to see if there's a better opening or you might even get promoted. Or you could do what I did. I was working as an Assistant Manager but because I got so fed up with the way things are going on (nothing to do with my collegues), I became a student again (24 yrs young). And I know what it's like to have less money than what you are used to. It ain't pretty. Though in my case it was self inflicted through my own stupidity, but thats another story.

quote:Every time I try for a truce I get an emotional wailing about how everything in her life even before I met her is my fault, and when I prove her wrong it isn't the last word... just the first word in a new argument... I guess thats what women are like all over the world. No matter what race they are (mine's English btw) they are all alike. Sigh......

quote: Thought provoking, but then again we have yet to ram someone in an airlock for real... You forgot to mention about curling up into a ball. If you want to see what happens when you ram someone into an airlock just watch 'Event Horizon'. Even when you are equalized (unlikely) your blood will begin to boil and evapourate. By the way if you cut someones head off, they are also still concious for a few seconds. quote: Sorry you are having a bad day man Don't be....I broke the first rule of marriage.... quote: $iLk, before he implodes raises his hand and extends his middle digit for all to see! Don't want to burse your buble (haha I made a funny) but due to the pressure being less outside your body, you will actually explode. Implosion is like for example when you smash a vaccum tube. The shattered glass will actually past through each other. Ah don't mind me I'm just having bad day in real life.

quote:And just remember Fendi, Not all lurkers are Bad guys.... some of us just don't talk much I wasn't directing that on any lurkers here. I was trying to point out that you can pick out certain patterns of Shirley and Bill Huffman. If they don't say anything we can't tell if it's them or not. quote: Joking aside, don't you think I want to know how many female players the game has? That makes two of us.

I knew it wasn't worth it. When the time comes for me to upgrade.....NVidia all the way. Oh Ep5 I'm serious when I said I 'll give you my old processor if you want it.
