Cheers Mano but I got over it honest. I am studying now, well in (OMG where have the time gone) 10 days. It still hurts sometimes when I could hear the snickers behind my back. Thats probably why I use jokes (unfunny ones at that) as a self defense mechanism.

Patience my young Padawan. Much anger in you....like my father... Anger is the path to the dark side.....like Shirley I'm sooo gonna get sued by G Lucas. Why pray to the box when you can pray to the master gold disk.

Lol. Get a manual instead of an auto and I promise you that you will never crash into a wall again. I've also got the perfect car for you then, a nice 1989 200SX turbo cared and loved by yours trully for a very sensible price which has never been modified *cough*. Just ignore the crackling in the bass as the engine is just interfering with the audio system.

10 years later on SC you'll probably be soooo rich that you'll donate each and every one of us an AMD Thundercats with 256 Teraquad XDR Memmory just because you like us. Oh and ATI would still be having driver issues then. [ 09-29-2001: Message edited by: Fendi ]

She wasn't from London was she? *vomits* I doubt it (hopefully) the Shirley I went out with was a girl. But then again science has advanced in the gender change department.

Something to do with working for other people instead of being an independant and flexible person. They want me to be something that I'm not.....like my father. Oh well I guess I should count myself lucky that I've got what I've got. Whats done is done and there's just hardly any point in being negetive anymore so here is a joke: How do you keep a bimbo occupied for hours? Put her in a circular room and tell her to sit in the corner. Oh Cur I got the joke..lol [ 09-29-2001: Message edited by: Fendi ]

$ilk, Ep5, why don't you ask him why he's got a girlie name. I mean I went out with a girl named Shirley once.... Same "I don't understand it so I'll mock it attitude". Maybe they were related?

Cheers Jeff for the support but I am trying to rebuild my life (for the sake of my kid). I'm just about to start my Mechatronics course soon in Reading in a couple of weeks time. Basically this time it's a do or die situation and though as you say a degree is just a piece of paper, and the fact that many people have it already, it's kinda like a pride thing. It's not my pride that I fear bruising but my parents. SC's story is very different compared to mine. Unlike me what happened to SC was not his fault but other people's follies. They just needed a scapegoat so they blamed SC for their mistakes. Besides most of the flames towards SC is baseless anyway by people who know squat. Mine was because of pure stupidity. Anyway I still got this one last chance to prove to myself and others that I'm not a failure after all. And besides, receiving BCM 2 days after my 24th birthday will definately make me forget about my birthday blues.

Nah I would never break the speed limit (more than 5mph over anyway) on a build up area. I think it's more to do with the heavy accellerating on the motorway (0-60mph in 6 seconds) and the quick gear change. My Porsche 924's (81 model) gear box was an auto and I accidently went from R to D while still reversing slowly (which should've been okay in a manual).

The reason for my semi joke post was because of the many failures in my life. I had a chance to be a civil engineer but I blew it on gambling (and the fact that '97 economy crash didn't help much either). Had a chance to be a pilot (both military and commercial) and I basically blew it as my mother and my wife thought that carreer path would get me nowhere. Hell I was even accepted but had to back down. Now that I'm almost 24 there is basically NOOO chance for me to be a professional pilot. Look at me now. I'm basically a nobody who had to start his education from scratch while my contemperaries have their own succesful businesses and carreers... constantly rubbing it in my face. "Look it's Fendi, the former child prodigy....how the mighty has fallen" "What a failure, he brings shame to his over-achieving parents" "With all the money given to hin by his parents he cant even get a single degree" Those are the kind of quotes that I get behind my back everyday of my life. The sad thing is I actually agree with them. Thats why I am always cracking up jokes at basically everything....never serious for a single minute. Well Paddy does that answer your question why I dare not predict what will happen to me in 10 years time? The way things are going now I don't even know if I would even be alive in 10 years time.

Alternate future 1: In a pub while Jessica Alba prepares my dinner for me when I get home. Alternate future 2: Probably be in a dead end job and hopes that one day I'd win the lottery or my boss gets layed-off due to company downsizing. Alternate future 3: Having a heart attack at the age of 34 as the world economy slides deeper into recession forcing the closure of all my enterprises. Alternate future 4: Live a simple and comfortable life with my wife and probably have another two kids on top of my present one. Of all the possibilities above I guess the first one is the one that would be the most likely outcome. Oh and don't worry about losing your job with BA. This thing should blow over soon enough and if you do think you are going to lose your job, you could always move to another airline or worst case scenario have a carrear in the RAF. The pay is not as good but at least you know that your future is secured.

Err what about Kyro3? Aren't they supposed to be good when they come out? Nah I'll get a GeForce3 in Christmas. By the way I'll be getting an MS Precission Pro2 in a few hours. I know I loved my Saiteks but just like my ex's....they think I'm too rough!! *Wifey walks in, sees post and begins chasing Fendi around the room with a claymore*

I think I was in Malaysia during the New Year right after 'Hari Raya'. I spent most of my time in the karaoke bar thanks to the cheap alcohol. By the way a friend of mine there saw all the episodes of DS9 and Voyager way before me...just not on TV Malaysia. If you want to see the latest just pop in the local video rental store. Oh and how much is a GeForce3 back at your end? Back here it costs around 300 quid (roughly RM 1500).

*Ponders why he had to replace his turbo twice in his 200SX* I guess I was just a wee bit rough on my joysticks. I blame it all on the space sim genres that I love playing. Tachyon took my first Saitek followed by EOC. I wonder what joystick is BCM gonna take? Oh did I tell you guys what happened to my Porsche 924's gearbox a couple of years back?

It was meant to be a joke.

Hehe I've seen it on sale at EB in Oxford. It's not as expensive as you think. I almost bought it but I decided on the 3D Digital model (second time) as I liked the feel to it. Too bad it didn't last long with me......Does anyone know a joystick thats "Fendi proof"?.

You're dreaming aren't you Jeffery? I don't think Astro has ever screened any Star Trek series before (movies yes). I think the only time I've seen the series in Malaysia was the first season of TNG back in the early 90's (on TV3). I guess there's just not enough of an interest in that show back in that region. Alternatively you could hook up a BIG sattelite dish that can pick up any channel you want. [ 09-28-2001: Message edited by: Fendi ]

Lol 1337 h4x0r5 strikes again!! Second link: Oopps there goes Parias then (Check out his sig in the EOC forums)

Here is another thing that I won't recommend: Saitek Cyborg 3D Digital Yup....This thing is good only for 6 months and then.....It's totally and utterly f**ked!! By the way this is the second one I had

Damn!! How did I forget her! But Jadzia still holds a special place in my heart. Oh and Xena!!
-
Jadzia Dax.....Nuff Said
-
Heh No one put mine down . A new one here: FUTURE SIMULATOR
-
Slap on an integrated GeForce3 instead of the GeForce2 MX on the motherboard and they'll have a customer.....for a reasonable price of course.
-
SC will there be a big party now you've finished BCM? It's an ancient Sumerian custom to buy drinks for everybody in the club after finishing a computer project. Trust me my information is valid as I watched Xena last week. Heh I'll probably register to be in V.E. just to ask Shirley 2 questions: 1. What's your problem with SC? 2. Why do you have a girlie name?

Thanks for helping guys. I did do the Intel to AMD conversion but I reinstalled the latest 4-1 Driver from the net. If it's too cold it's probably because I left my case open. I've got Artic Silver II but I can't really spend more money on a coolant till the end of the month as I've got only 60 quid (can't be sure with money exchange rate) left and that's waiting in the bank waiting to be taken by BMT Micro. 50'C on an Athlon 1.2? I've always thought electronic components would fry at that temperature. Thanks again guys. Only time will tell now that I've done a clean install [ 09-26-2001: Message edited by: Fendi ]
