I believe that the only email addresses that aren't clearly available in the BB profile are those personnel who have chosen to not reveal them publicly. I could be wrong though! I've always had my email address available in my signature, started long before they were available by clicking on the profile box was enabled. It's an auto-link to your email program and is still there for anyone who wants to email me directly. Commander, it's a good idea that you have here. "Uncle Rattler" is old in the BC world! I know you were talking about what age would be considered old in a world that really was happening in 3000A.D. I just thought I'd throw in a little humor. I shared this with another elite group of gentlemen the other day and think it appropriate here as well. In real life I'm a retired Navy CWO. On my last, and I do mean LAST ship that I served on I had young Airmen working for me that, I suddenly came to realize, hadn't been breathing as long as I had been walking the decks of carriers! That was an eye opener for myself. What really was the kicker though was when one of these young Airmen suddenly came up to me and, with a serious look on his face, asked "Warrant, Is it true that you were a cabin boy on Noah's Ark?" Yep, That just about covers it. Many times we've seen "Mysterious" crashes and the lot which were caused by an overclocked system or video card. That's why the statement is in the manual. If tic's got his running on an overclocked system and having no problems then more power to him. Just remember though, if it starts to go south on you, bring the clock rates back to normal and it should straighten out. You did mean "Wing Leader", right Richard? Let's clear that up asap and never use those two words again in close proximity, like sequentially. I must have misunderstood what Alun was saying. I thought he was capable of modifying any profile of anyone who was below his level of clearance. I was only asking because that, if he could modify those attrubutes, then he might could also see all attributes in a profile. Some should be reserved for Admins. Things like Passwords, etc should not be visable below admin level I think. Again, only my personal opinion. SC might have different ideas and I certainly shall follow his lead. Have just checked with another Level 1 clearance. All is still preserved. My appologies for being overly cautious. SC knows why I'm this way though. There's a quick answer to that one! I can adjust your profile to Normal User and stop you from editing any profiles! Personally, I'm against anyone but Fleet, Aliance And Admins from having access to anything that allows editing of profiles. That's just my personal opinion though. We're working hard at keeping sanity as the rule of the day in this new Data Base. Too many cooks in a kitchen will surely spoil the dish, IF it doesn't burn the whole place down. Being a Life-Long hater of unions and the B.S. that they claim to do for their employees, I say "Give them the same treatment that the US gave the air controlers" back when they all went on strike also. Taking Insurgents for granted and starting a thread such as this could result in the destruction of some of your Fleet Characters in RP. We have not done this in the past because that's not what the Insurgency is all about. The Insurgency works to free Earth, not start uprisings on other planets. And here I was thinking that maybe his refresh rates weren't matched. It's been quite a while since I visited the subject of Voodoo 2's but wasn't there something about ensuring that you had 2D and 3DFX refresh rates matched? There also was some limitations that had to be observed in the shortcut and .bat files. Correct SC? Can somebody tell me that the Diamond S540 is even capable of running in 3dfx mode? Maybe that's the problem all along? Thomas, I could be wrong but just in case I'm not, be advised. I think the SC said that All wing members must use the motto of their wing, assigned by their wing leader. If none, they must use the one signed by their Fleet Leader. If he has none, none shall be used by any fleet member. So the statement of allowing your unassigned members of staff to use their own jeopradizes your entire fleet. As an "Ex-Chief turned Chief Warrant Officer" I've seen all of this before! One thing that I can tell you though, all kidding aside, is that a Commanding Officer knows the value of his Chief.
