  3. I have decided to go with Hypernia.Net for the servers and I have been testing their service this past week or more. The servers are running WIN2K Server 2003, on P4 3 Ghz w/HT with 1GB DDR400 RAM All four servers are scheduled to go online on April 1st (no, seriously). I have given access to the servers to Prime Fleet (don't you wish you were in a fleet?) for testing until they go live to the public. All four servers should be showing up on the server browser, but below is the direct info. SERVER1 - 66.250.220.131 : 2302 SERVER2 - 66.250.220.132 : 2302 SERVER3 - 66.250.220.133 : 2302 SERVER4 - 66.250.220.134 : 2302 Check with your fleet leaders for the server password. These servers are running 1.00.02 RC8 Build 003 [ 03-30-2004, 03:59 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
  4. Fixed. Thanks!
  5. The scenarios used to be numbers BCIA0000 to BCIA0045. To avoid confusion, they were renumbered in a recent patch from BCIA0101 to BCIA0145. So, the scenario referenced in the manual is now BCIA0113 EDIT: correct naming scheme [ 03-28-2004, 09:14 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

  8. The guys at Macrovision and I looked at the NFO file you sent. You are running both Nero and CloneCD. So how come you didn't know that CloneCD is a virtual CD drive program? Anyway, here is what they had to say quote: I found the following software which may be the causing the problem: Uninstalling them will resolve the issue. Clone CD If CloneCD is on the machine: You might have a little icon on the bottom of your screen (on your task bar) with the picture of a sheep's head. Right Click this and make sure "Hide CD-R media" is un-ticked. Nero Burning Software. If the customers have both software available as backup, try uninstalling them and see if it resolves the issue. For Clone CD you don?t need to uninstall, just use the above work around. Let me know the results please. Is the customer using Nero Image? or Virtual drive using Nero? The CD will not authenticate from the virtual drive.
  9. LMAO!!! Oh man, thats a classic one for the books.

I'm on a network and I show only two svchost.exe programs currently running. I only pointed this out because I know that an excess number of svchost.exe is usually a sign of a potential worm or virus.
  11. quote: Originally posted by Marvin: I hope not. In any case, it's rather odd that I almost always see another player's craft canted at an angle after planetfall. Last night, both Remo's FC and Gordon's CC looked to me (and I emphasize, "looked") to be sticking out of the ground after landing. Mine, on the other hand, looked just fine to them. I know whats causing it. It is packet delay. Your craft is handled local to you (client side), so it will look fine. To others - if they don't get enough packets - then the last packet they get will be the point where your ship is pitched up (thats an AP problem I need to fix) but they don't get frequent updates up the point where your craft has leveled out. This packet delay issues (which is what those queue error messages are) are the cause of various anomalies when on the planet (because there is a lot more stuff to send and thus more packets) and its the current priority item being investigated.
  12. What is the matter with you? Why did you send this when BCM was running? You need to CLOSE all non-essential programs. Listen, quit your OS and reboot the computer. Once its finished rebooting, go to Start/Run and type winmsd. Go to File/Save. Then send the .NFO file produced, to [email protected] Also, why do you have so many instances of svchost.exe running? Sounds like you have a virus on your system I think.
  13. quote: Originally posted by Darkken Nightshade: Hey. someone please add some info..help please! If its not in the manual and not in the VCF, that should give your answer. As in, no, you can't do it. Why do you expect someone else to do the work (of reading those resources) for you?
  14. Bloomberg report
  15. Yeah I got this in too and have yet to install it. Between UT2004 Onslaught and BF:V, not sure where I'm going to find time to play this. I played the demo and it was quite good. The AI cheats. 'nuff said.
  16. Post your current process list. Also post the exact error message that you are getting.
  17. Fresh from GDC and the MS announcement, the XNA site is now online.

  20. quote: Originally posted by $iLk: quote:uhm, that was developed by Remedy. Then does 3DRealms own the IP? Cause both 3Drealms and Rockstar are also listed on the website. Its complex. The reason Rocstar is listed, is because thats the Take Two label (was previously GodGames of which 3DR was a part - now gone the way of the Dodo) is it under. 3DRealms signed Remedy and then sold the IP to Take Two. Like I said, its complex, but Remedy developed both Max Payne titles, even though 3DR had some creative input. [ 03-24-2004, 03:54 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
