BCMG newbie FAQ is now available on gamefaqs.com
Supreme Cmdr replied to kschang's topic in Universal Combat Series
I haven't read the whole thing yet, but noticed a couple of items you may want to correct. Check your PM. -

The political and religion forums are bad enough. quote: i'm a devoted defender of the military...i'll even defend the Navy...sometimes.Of course and there's nothing wrong with that. Anyway I think people are probably reading more into what I wrote than I originally intended. Not that I care, but the point I was making is that I take exception to your statement about the military not letting him down. There are countless stories of the military letting people down than I care to mention. So, lets not wear blinkers on this ok? I've got nothing against the military; I simply took exception to your statement, thats all. And no, I'm personally not ex-military either (unless you consider my stint in GALCOM, time served ); though several members of my immediate family (one such member is currently assigned to the White House, incidentally) are.

Goddamn lying bastards. So much for that. I've CDR's I recorded back in 1999, now I gotta go transfer them to DVDs? -
quote: Originally posted by Most: The military will never let u down.... Really?!? Lets not even go down that path of discussion. quote: Originally posted by Hades: Always, always wear clothes to the interview. People say the first thing they look at is your attitude, but it's always whether you're wearing clothes or not. On a personal note, I recently applied to a gas station, the guy wanted me to stand out by the pump, clean peoples windows for them, and help them pump their gas if necessary. My thinking is, if you can't pump your own goddamn gas, you shouldn't be driving anyway. Needless to say, I didn't take that job. But, you should always wear clothes. That's important. Alright, knock if off Hades, this is serious!

If you had actually searched for the word cheat, before creating this thread, you would have seen a topic where I explained the use of the cheat to do something like this.

quote: Originally posted by Telemachus: Wait a minuit, if they were space marines, how was it that one of them left the craft? He probably was the only one that wasn't a Space Force Marine. The marines in a ship are distributed (at game state) by percentages. To find out which types you have on board, go to Tactical/Crew/Marines and then toggle the inventory view. If a marine has a Sabre rifle, he's SFM class.

Personnel in crafts will take injury. That should have been obvious by now.

Packard Bell. Laptop. Sorry mate, you're on your own
-
Are you sure you are not trying to deploy Space Force Marines on the planet? They won't leave the craft. Also all troops you want to deploy should be in the same away team.

Of course, if you screw up later on, you will lose that rank and fleet C&C to boot. quote: Originally posted by Pugwash: Shush. We try to keep things like this quiet. If the SC hear you he'll change the script. proof here LOL!! me, busted

You can find it here (40 MB). Looks pretty good, but man, its a resource hog; and thats a rolling, non-interactive demo. Can't imagine how much worse it could get in real-time.

In the future, make sure that your subject is indicative of what you are asking. e.g. Help with ACM mission #4 is better than the subject you are currently using.

Modding: increasing carrier strike craft complement
Supreme Cmdr replied to ToxicFrog's topic in Battlecruiser Millennium
You cannot change or add any personnel classes. That should be obvious by now. And having 16 fighters and 8 pilots is not moot. Where does it say that you must have 16 pilots in order to have 16 fighters? What if you have 16 different fighters and want to launch 4 of the best ones?
