I'd forgotten to write up about this one, until someone just sent me email asking if I'd seen it. Yep. Saw it last weekend and liked it a lot. This movie is highly recommended for anyone who ever had a dream. It tells the story of baseball pitcher Jim Morris and Dennis Quaid did a damn fine job (I like him a lot) in this movie. A must see. It reminded me of myself and I was teary eyed in some parts. 10/10 [ 05-01-2002, 13:45: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Once you engage the AP and give an order (e.g. HALT), the CC will carry out that order. So, if you give it the HALT order, engage AP and then it takes off - thats a bug because it shouldn't do that. Last time I checked, it doesn't. Which is why I said rubbish. And until you can prove this, my comment still stands. Here is another variation of that sentiment. Bollocks

Its not. Where do the OTS units come from? Are you docked at a station or doing this from your ship? How is it possible for the space they no longer used (in the weapons pod) to not be available when they are put in the pod. Unless you explain this more clearly, in a step-by-step fashion, I'm deleting both of these posts. [ 05-01-2002, 08:33: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Ah, OK. I get it now Anyway, I released the patch to the testers a few days ago. Usually I wait a week before releasing it to the public. I am currently working one or two more items and then I'll release. I want to catch+fix as much stuff as I can before releasing this one because the next patch will be the mp patch and in which all games are invalid. I don't particularly want the mp patch to contain existing and open bugs because it may have an adverse effect on mp. Apart from that, because I'm working on two code bases, I have to merge common fixes into both of them. Not an easy task.

When they get there, order them to return to base, and then immediately order them to go to that same starstation. The result is them docking at the star station and appearing in you CC. I'm not sure if this works with fighters, but I know that it doesnÔÇÖt if your far enough away for them to HJ to you. That looks like a bug. Will check it out

The AP never uses fluxfields.

You might want to explain that again - step by step. To me - it is as clear as mud. [ 04-27-2002, 09:11: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Well, the interview was quite a read. And someone else said, what more can you say about BCM that hasn't already been said?

1. You're not running the currently supported version of the game 2. Read the FAQ and start from scratch. If you don't know how, check the forum archives. 3. In order to post a tech support issue, you have to include your system profile in your sig. Your post will be deleted within 24hrs unless you comply. Seamus is interviewed over at Gamespot and if its all true (what he says), I can't say that I blame him. Once a gamer. Always a gamer.

Gee, I wonder how on Earth they'd have a problem finding a publisher - with so many of them putting any crap they can get their hands on, into a box.
