OK you lazy bastards. The first person to give me info on the dance tracks played in the movie nightclub (see above) and which are not on the soundtrack CD, gets a free copy of BCM. So far, everyone I've asked, doesn't have a clue. It seems as if the music played at the disco are not on the soundtrack. That in itself I consider to be a rip off.

This is probaly a stupid question, but...........

Problem with targeting and views

Most EB stores should have the game on the shelves by 11/21. It leaves the EB central warehouse on 11/16. EBgames.com will start shipping units by 11/19 (processing has already begun) BMT Micro will start shipping units by 11/16 or 11/19

As for typical poly counts, it varies with the model. Typically the stations are highest, then carriers, cruisers, transports, fighters etc. I don't have time to give you poly counts, use BCS for that in conjunction with one of the demos.

The do accept money orders too you know.

BCM already on black market?
Supreme Cmdr replied to Pedro Pablo Laracuente's topic in Battlecruiser Series
It is HIGHLY unlikely that his friend was able to pirate the game. I have received three emails today (one from Cato, one my own guys) that the BCM downloads on warez sites, are the BCM demo - NOT - the game. Laracuente has not been forthcoming with this and I do NOT like people playing games with me. So, effective immediately, I am revoking his posting rights while I toy with the idea of an outright ban from the site. The first person to question this decision, is getting banned too. You HAVE been warned. If he is in any fleet, the FC needs to eject him from the fleet and kill his profile immediately upon reading this mandate. That is all Next time anyone has a report of a pirate, they'll provide FACTS as is the common practice, rather than shouting fire, protecting their friend etc. -
*bump* So, I take it nobody has a clue about this sound track then?
-
Yep, there's something fishy with the 6.1.02 upgrade. In fact, there is a 6.1.03 upgrade in the works, according to UBB.

He's not. Change it. Thanks in advance.

OK, does anyone else get what all this means? I'm trying VERY hard not to blow my stack, but this is BULLSHIT. -

I am also going to change the voice-overs with members of my family and friends. So it will be my wife warning of failing shields . I'm going to come up with a different soundtrack for BCM (have already been working on that) and I'm going to change the 3d AE skins. Basically I'm not going to tamper with the whole universe, I'm just going to place familiar things in it. I'm considering changing sound effects of lasers and laser appearance as well, but other than that I'm happy with most of the stuff. Yep. You can do all of that and more. Camaro, adding new models to the game is a piece of cake. You just have to be patient and wait for me to release the GBS-II (Game Builder System Spec II) for BCM. It includes an updated version of BCStudio, PTEStudio, the script parser etc. And with update docs and examples one what can be modded and how. In fact, just in the past few days, the first person weapon structure has been exported to an external INI file. This means that you can now also alter the performance specs for weapons, add new ones etc external to the game itself. e.g. you could create an M16 model, enter the stats etc and have the player and NPCs have access to it.

I'll try to do something ASAP. Why don't we close this thread now. Warez shouldn't be discussed in public. OK thanks. But you still didn't answer my question: WHAT did you mean by this statement: quote: All these things!!! with regards to the files I listed. And no, we're not closing the thread yet. -

I was tempted to say something yesterday, but I figured I would wait to see how many more people noticed it Now the question is.. how long does it take to go from processing to shipping??? Its just a matter of days. I would say that, depending on where you are, you should get your copy in less than a week from ebgames.com and the stores should get it by the weekend.

SC, c'mon man, you can't talk to people like that...especially to those that practically look up to you. He was trying to help and you rip him a new one...These are your fans. [ 11-12-2001: Message edited by: schoch1 ] Oh? I owe him an apology huh? Have you lost your mind? Or didn't you GET the reason as to WHY I posted what I did? My post still stands ps: No, I'm not banning you - but don't push it with the smart mouth thing. I'm hanging on a thread as it is and even if you look at me funny I could topple off. Charles, you're on the internal Beta list I presume, so you've see the discussions. NONE of us have been able to download it. And until I can get my hands on the info I requested (above), I can't be certain if this is true or not. Laracuente, can you send me the BCM.EXE file please - if you have it? Also, did you say that those files I listed DO EXIST in that pirate copy or not? Your post was not clear on this. -

The best proof of any such claim, is the size, date, time of the BCM.EXE file. If his friend claims that its been cracked so the EXE is different, fine then. I'd like the size, date and time of the following files : bcmsetup.ini datalbases.ini pte2ptedefs.ini modelsknife.3d modelstextureskitskins.bmp And the date plus version number that appears in the small box when the company logo anim is playing at startup. -

I've tried everything I can think of. Thanks You can't. You can only jump to something you can target. Surely you know this? That said, since you can't target a waypoint, how do you plan on jumping to it?

I have a friend of mine who does that for a living. I just called him on the phone and told him about it. I'll hear in a day or two. The ONLY way a full version of the game will end up on Warez, is if it came from the mastering plant. And each master has a digital ID which I embedded in the exe file. Even if a press review copy gets leaked, I'll know who it was sent to.
