GAMESPOT:Atari today confirmed to GameSpot the resignation of Martin Edmondson, founder of Reflections Studio. Reflections is the internal studio responsible for the Driver series, one of Atari's most successful and bankable franchises. "For some time we've been in normal contract renegotiations with Martin, and the two sides were unable to reach an agreement," an Atari spokesman said today.

Well you know what it's time to punish these pr**ks. Sure it was alright to show Alexander in all it's hollywood agenda towards gayness. Noooo, when it's time for me to see the blood and gore movies I like they eff with them. Arrrgggg, I'm mad. Well it's time to stop spending my money on any of these altered flicks. It's also time for these directors to take a stand. If the studios don't want to play fair, then sure, have them release your altered film but quietly release the full flick on the internet. When the studios start loosing even more money because of this, maybe then they'd back down from their victorian attitudes towards horror flicks.

Well to redeem myself for attacking Pearl Harbor, I changed history yesterday. I turned all options off to make the game totally unrealistic. I played (single missions) as an American lone fighter P-40B taking on the entire invading Japanese attack force. By the time I was done, I turned back the rest of them (about four invading fighters). By the time I realized that they were running away, it was too late to chase them down since I just didn't have the speed in my plane to do it. Not one bomb hit Pearl Harbor. I did a reconnaissance over Pearl to make sure and didn't see anything smoldering. It may have been unrealistic but it was really fun. I would have been smoked long before because I had this zero on my six and just couldn't shake him at the time. All I knew is that I was right in his fire because I saw all the bullet streams blazing past me while bits and pieces of my plane were chipping off. BTW: Don't forget to assign a key for "TOGGLE CHOCKS" as Carl Burning stated you'll be sitting around on the aircraft carrier wondering what's up you did everything and you're still not moving. I watched the in game training for taking off carriers and no mention of doing this. Don't know if it was an oversight. I watched the training three times to make sure I didn't miss it but nada it wasn't mentioned and it seems strange because it's one of the most important things to do for taking off or else you ain't going nowhere fast. Taking off wasn't too bad just keep it straight and you'll be fine. Landing on a carrier, now that's something different altogether . I would suggest assigning a key for the "TOGGLE ARRESTOR HOOK" for the landing it's as important as releasing the chocks for take off.

Hmmm, guess I can post this in the tech section since I am going to discuss a Hardware upgrade. Yep, guess it's that time again. Time for an upgrade. CPU, Memory and motherboard. Here is my current motherboard: MSI: KT3 Ultra2 Great motherboard for it's day (and still is) but with my ATI 9600 XT @ 8x agp and the motherboard only supports up to 4x I'm not getting the full potential of the video card. Here are the two candidates for replacement 1:MSI: KT880 Delta-FSR 2: MSI: K7N2 Delta2 Platinum (nVIDIA® nForce2 Gigabit MCP Chipset) I am leaning more towards #2 with the Nvidia chipset (which I have read that Nvidia has got it right this time around and is a real competitor towards the VIA chipset ). I have read alot of really good positive reviews for the Nvidia chipset (except there seems to be problem with it's raid implementation which is no big deal since I'm not using the raid nor will be anytime in the future). Since I have an ATI graphics card, I'm wondering if the Nvidia chipset will heave and cough chunks of nastiness at the sight of this video card in it's system. Any thoughts or experience on this or any Nvidia chipset motherboard? As for the CPU I am going AMD 2800 or higher. Memory I will stick with Kingston. Now for the more important part. I lost my local computer supplier Essential computers Inc. Bought all my previous upgrades from them including the Viewsonic 19" monitor a year ago. They seem to have disappeared. There web site is gone and their phone lines are disconnected. Pity, they had great prices and service and best of all I could just go pick the stuff up myself. So it looks like I'm stuck ordering from the internet. I'm looking at NewEgg.com.
