Leprachaun 4: In space. Hehe just terrible.

Did anyone stay through the credits and see the conclusion to the donkey/dragon romance? I left after that. Hope I didn't miss anything else.

I had a fairly large post then hit that weird key combo that wiped all the text. Ughhh. I agree about half and half with Scrivener and Hellbinder. I didn't mind the dialogue at all. Except that "smell beautiful" line Scriv pointed out. Riddick was never portrayed as a nuclear physicist. I hated those frenetic fight scenes though. Something Scrivener didn't mention (unless it was innuendo) was Riddick's past. Who cares? Why can't he simply be a bad ass? The Lord Marshall's fear of Riddick is straight from the Bible. (my opinion) All in all pretty good movie. 8/10

quote:Jaguar I will never have to be hooked up to the grid at all.Ages ago I read about a guy in illinois or somewhere that had his own power system. Ten car batteries in series make 120 volts. Take several series and run them parallel to up the amperage. All powered by a windmill or so. He did that before the power company would even consider coming out to his house. When they finally got close enough they BEGGED him to get on the grid and he wouldn't do it.

The Politics of Ladies Night Out
Charles Lindsey replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Does anyone think the man has a snowball's chance in hades of ever picking someone up when they find out (and they will) that he's the one that killed Ladie's Night? /snickers -
The Politics of Ladies Night Out
Charles Lindsey replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
This was in the related article. quote:Judges in Pennsylvania and Iowa have said similar events are illegal, but courts in Illinois and Washington state have said that ladies nights are permissible because they do not discriminate against men but rather encourage women to attend. Interesting. -
Night in front of the Telly - Last Comic Standing
Charles Lindsey replied to Charles Lindsey's topic in The Arts
Well, there's another episode on tonight. ;)Probably the semifinals before they go into the house. It's opposite the second half of The Simple Life. That show is so bad you have to watch it. It's like a train wreck and morbid facsination. -

Ok I apologize. I keep forgetting this forum is full of ex and current military. That G stuff must be second nature to you. -
Finder1. Are you playing UC?

The premiere is tonight. Auditions and junk. Next they move into a house and do comedy routines in front of an audience to get voted to stay. Yeah it's a reality show but it's pretty good. Always cracking jokes in the house and two comedy routines every show just about. Thought ya'll might like.

ShoHashi and I are doing very well thank you very much. I'm worried about a couple members. Chappy has never been seen on the forums. El Che hasn't been seen much. Dreadx kinda drifted off. But the rest of my fleet are alive and well. -

I guess this is pre court martial proceedings. From the first post. Not all the congratulations to Marvin. Which, Congratulations Marvin. -
No. You must retrieve certain items from each scenario. The choice is yours as to what you want to do first though.

I was hoping the demo would at least take you through the second mission. I have the option of going into the Citadel or the Pagan Underground. As I said above I chose the Pagan undeground and it's creepy. Maybe I'll try the church first.
-
No I don't have the special wall climbing gloves yet. I have completed the training mission which sort of morphs into a complete mission. I am now on the second (first?) mission where you start in Garret's house and go to South Market Quarter, South Market Proper, and what not. I made it to the Pagan underground then I got creeped out. That music and that sibilant chanting really gets me.

Gallion apears? WOW! Welcome back. Was fun wasn't it Cruis. In? Dial up ain't too terrible. Landing a Nighstar manually is another story though.

Ind. Man Survives 69,000-Volt Shock
Charles Lindsey replied to jamotto's topic in Laughter, The Best Medicine
Volts x Amps = Watts. Useful little formula for not overloading a circuit. Like that 1750 watt hair dryer you own. 120v is standard american voltage. Plug 1750 watts into the formula and solve for amps and you see how close you come to tripping a 15 amp breaker. Also, double the volts and halve the amperage. It's why cars went to 12v systems ages ago. Dunno how it applies to this though. Just odd trivia bouncing around in my head. -

Whoops I tried the chat thing but the dog wanted his walky. I had to do a quick 15 minute so I could come back to Star Trek but by that time I had missed Sho.

http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83801 Try that thread. Ton's of tweaks for various things. The most interesting of which is daisabling those four splash movies. I haven't tried it yet but perhaps I will.

quote:Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.Perhaps I was a bit harsh. quote:I'm downloading the Demo to see if I can get it running on my ageing system.Your system is better than mine and I have no problems. A bit of a wait on scene loading but that's it. I have a 9600SE. I'd be curious to hear about your experience. Maybe it just barfs on certain vid cards.
-
Runs fine for me. I'm not particularly fond of the scene loading within a level but I am getting used to it. I have no problems with at all with the game lagging or anything. Scrivener has a vastly different opinion than I do. AKA he don't know what he talking about.

Puts down Blackjack, Dagger, and healing potions for a moment.
