  1. Detailed instructions for adding your profile are in this thread . I hope it's a relatively new PC.
  2. Sounds like you are getting off to a good start. Keep reading the forums. Lot's of good tips scattered throughout. You also need to register your game and get a system profile in your sig.
  3. Since you posted here I deleted your other topic. I just have the latest patch for UC. I like the game the way it is. You HAD to have seen that in the solar reactor thread. I was just relaying info from the version control file to street. RC means release candidate and has not yet (if it will ever) been used as a patch number for UC.
  4. I was teasing. I put a winky. But the speed part is in "that" VCF. Maybe someone posted as well but instead of hunting it I just went to the VCF.
  5. quote:I never got a single warning. Ever. No? Hmmm. Well, stuff happens.
  6. You were allowed 15 warning posts? Bucko, you need social skills.
  7. Thanks Steve. You're correct.
  8. I forget what I voted for but I know it had Rules of Engagement in it. It seems to me that 45 mins to an hour "should" be plenty of time to play the ROE* as we played it. However, I can imagine instances where a time limit would severely restrict gameplay. Therefore as long as the ROE states what the game time is it should all be good. * I specifically avoided calling our stuff a scenario because scenario is stated in the VCF as a scripted game.
  9. It isn't the single instances of Bush friends trying to help him. It is the repeated ocurrence of Bush friends' ties to this orginazation. OK, Kerry has couple of friends at Moveon.org and what not. Does it even compare to the Bush friends ties to Swift Boat Vets? So I still dunno.
  10. Bush campaign lawyer resigns due to ties to SwiftBoat Vets. Been on the front page of Yahoo News all day. Suprised ya'll missed it. Or did I miss you guys referring to it?

  12. quote:street whined 08-20-2004 03:26 PM I tried to find the post, where someone SAID, the ORIGINAL BC game, demonstrated significant ENGINE SPEED INCREASE,with the SR settings and later was disabled.I could NOT locate it, maybe..I imagined that too? This may just be a misconception that has confused the issue, for me. v1.08 RC3 - 03.30.02
  13. All of the above. Match 1 I sat out. But as Sho and Dreadx put it after sitting out himself it was like being in some sort of operations rooms. Quite fun. Match Two: I was making a beeline for the enemy station when DennyMala and I met somewhere. I had just come out of jump and he had just popped through the gate. He was too tempting a target and my greed got me killed. The rest is a blur. Hehe. But great fun.
  14. A radio talk show had Georgia representative Linden on. He wants 22 - 23% on goods AND services. He talked a good game about how hidden in the cost of everything is 22% taxes anyway so remove all the hidden stuff and take 22% off the top. 22% sounds kinda steep in addition to local taxes. And he talked about a poverty level where you would get a check every month up to x amount of $ to cover the necessities. Still don't know. And after thinking about I decided you wouldn't get ALL your money. Pensions (if you are lucky enough to have one) and healthcare would probably still be deducted. Flat tax sounds interesting too.
  15. Why do that when you can just go here.
  16. Congratulations Mordaxx! The fence is for the dogs and security. Getting my tractor stolen kinda shook me a bit. The panel you see in the middle pic is one half of a 20 ft drive through gate I am making. When that is done I am going to take those stakes out of the ground and swing that welded wire around so it meets the other half of the gate and then a good portion of my back yard will be fenced in. The "gates" are actually panels from a pre fab dog kennel! The one up by the house has the walk through panel but is also hinged to the terminal post so I can unlatch the whole thing and swing it open to take my tractor in and out. I thought it was rather ingenious if I do say so myself. Yeah I cheated. Daddy's chain saw. Axe? Paul Bunyan I ain't.
  17. I've been slightly busy. quote:or should I adress you as Lord Rahl? Gotta be a book or movie reference. Be sure to check out Insurgent Central Command if you haven't. We gonna try to move the chatter over there to the forum link. Pretty nifty forum if you ask me.
  18. The free Word 97 viewer from microsoft works. I don't have word.
  19. White House backs away from statement He wasn't considering it. He was only considering considering it. quote:For it - Because it'll make EVERYONE pay taxes (including the rich) and will put most lawyers out of a job, it'll also make it so that people won't ahve to file income tax reports That's several of the FOR arguments. Everyone will pay. Tax cheaters will not be able to avoid it (finally) and since the rich buy more expensive toys they would pay more tax. I wouldn't think lawyers would lose work so much as tax preparers. quote:Againt it - Because everything will go up in priceTrue but you'll have ALL your money. Again it depends on how much they want.
  20. Ok I ditched quite a few so things should be able to get through.
  21. It can't be fun being on the receiving end of Jaguar's posts but it is only the internet after all. Do be careful.

  23. Put sales tax in the word/phrase box HR 25 is a bill that is proposed. Not much learning unless you can read the legalese. Everyone is right. Even Darkling. It's just not a magic wand. It would be great to bring home ALL my money but then everything would cost more at the register. Hmmmmmmmm. Alabama taxes food. I'm jealous of states that don't but it's not terrible.
