Saw the trailer on the big screen tonight. Looking pretty sweet.

Saw it tonight. It's still hanging around at two theatres. I had to make a 55 mile round trip to see it but it was worth it. Dunno if it was the late show or all shows but I also got a coupon for a free small popcorn and a medium drink. That alone made the drive worth it. I was expecting to drop a twenty but came out for less than ten (plus gas). I agree with all of you. It was really pretty good. The slightest bit slow at the beginning but maybe I'm just a crybaby. . I liked the freaks in his apartment building. Not knowing anything about the comics I had no preconceptions and thought it held up very well as a stand alone movie. If you liked this one you might also like Mel Gibson's "Payback".

Yup, wanderlust struck. I went sightseeing. I saw Laststop and found the Gams. The ShoHashi started to get worried about all the GCV logging on though and started requesting help. I headed back only to see Kahn coming after me as a friendly raider. I raced him for all I was worth but he had a faster ship. I noticed he had fired missiles at me and I used the EMD to get those off my back. I then used the TLM menu to assign him enemy. Just at that time my hyperjump came back so I jumped. He jumped too and beat me to the jumped gate. He unleashed a volley of PTA and IOD and hurt me bad but I turned around fast enough to put a hurting on him. He had recharged by that time and jumped away. I turned and headed towards the jump gate. Before I could get to the jump gate he had recharged and come back for more. As he came back I put a big hurting on him but he did me just as well. Suddenly he disconnected not to be seen again for the rest of the night. But the damage was done. Shields gone, Engines gone, and the nuclear reactor only putting out 52% power. Tactical and logistix computer destroyed. I targeted Ralean gate and started limping towards it. As things settled my shields slowly very slowly started coming back as did my engines. I could now move at the blinding speed of 66. My shields moved up to about 300 units and my speed slowly increased to a blazing 133. Just about to the jumpgate two enemy raider fighters targeted me. I turned to face them stubborn as I always am and did get off a few shots and a couple missiles before they decided Empirian fighters were better targets. One raider died and the other was happily fighting the Empirians so I once again turned back to the jumpgate. Only a fighter had gotten in a good shot and taken the last of my shields. I made it to the next system and met up with Sho. When he found me I had no shields, 450 hull, and 28% overall integrity. PS: Wolf didn't grief me this night. -

Nope, deleted him. One doesn't expect someone friendly to turn and fire. I was fine when he was Galcom. I REALLY hated that Empirian/Raider that killed me. Green dots all around and suddenly I'm taking damage. By the time I cycle thru targets and figure out who it is I'm toast. Hehe. -

Oh let's see. Server 4. I jumped into proconz. MArvin was hugging the station as usual but a syr/cri was attacking the ODS. I used the TLM menu to attack and killed the syrcri. Then someone else attacked me; shields went down quick but I used the menus to make him enemy and took him down as well. MArvin saw the whole thing. But his last fighter got me just after I got him. Was fun though! Later (server two) Shingen and I went to Castrin and had a fighter joust. I had my fighters "Fly To" Somaris jumpgate and Shingen had his fighters attack mine. They turned out to be very evenly matched. I was hoping that I would have that one pilot with killer AI but it was not to be. Still fun though. Is server banning enabled yet? -

This show is WICKED!! A bunch of people are re-enacting the year 1628 and making a colony in the new world. It's on PBS and set up like any reality show with personal interviews and such but with explanations on how what they do is different than 1628. Sadly, tonight seems to be the finale but it is available in DVD for $50 from PBS.

I didn't know he was doing that behind the scenes. Now I'm sorry I helped him with XFire.

quote:My dog Hercules. H rescued him from a cruel owner. His personality is changing right before my eyes. He is a Lab/Shepherd mix and a beautiful, great dog.I hope you have good luck with him. Just give him lots of love. The animal love of my life, George, died several years ago. He was so smart and had an amazing vocabulary. He knew so many words and always remembered exactly where he left his ball. If most dogs have the mentality of a three year old I swear George was 7 or 8. Here is my current dog http://members.aol.com/clind10107/yard/yard010.jpg I named him Radar because when he sees something he is interested in he locks on like radar. He is also a rescued dog. George died a week after my birthday. A week after that I got an email thru a friend about a dog that had been found downtown. I wasn't quite ready for another dog but I went and looked anyway. Oh he was wild and I still say he lives in his own little world. He is the Tasmanian Devil personified. Wild child. But he loves me. For all that he is wild he is a sweetie when he finally gets tired. I have a litany of pet names I call him. Sweetie pie, Lotsa love, goody num nums, goody boy, goody kisses, and buttercup. He hates buttercup. It's the funniest thing I have ever seen. I can go thru my litany and he won't move but when I say buttercup he snatches his head up and gives me a dirty look. My newest one is pickle dog because he like pickles. He's not real sure about that one either.

The xfire path found in Tools/Find installed games is shown as "C:Program FilesDreamCatcher3000ADUniversal Combat" so apperently it just grabs the first exe which makes single player the operable exe for both singleplay and multiplay.
