I thought I might give it a shot way back when but I'm to old and it wouldn't let me. How could I possibly be too old? I still watch Saturday morning Cartoons for crying out loud!

Saw the trailer in the theatre. Looks cool as all get out. I definitely want to see it. This and MAtrix, and Looney Tunes Back In Action, and Runaway Jury. But what are you supposed to be doing on the movie home page? I had a timer counting down and then it told me I ran out of time and it played some capture scene. But my "arsenal" was empty. It's getting colder. I can sneak my own snacks in my jacket. Still have to buy the drink though. Less conspicuous.

I get tons in email but this was particularly good. At least I think. --------------- Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out. When the medical director became aware of Edna's heroic act he immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered her to be mentally stable. I've ruined a young mind. I was at a friend's house Saturday. She called another mutual friend and she came over with her kids. We watched the eclipse through the telescope but the boy was more interested in installing Age of Mythology on my friends computer so they could play online. My friend was less than thrilled. So I kept the poor guy company as he used cheat codes to advance quickly through the game. I left about halfway through I guess and finished the last third of Harry Potter with my friends. He finally talked me into coming back after Harry Potter was over and he let me play through the tutorial. As I was learning how to build I accidentally highlighted a goat. Well, this goat followed the villagers to the new building and while he didn't really do anything I had great fun asking the kid how could a goat help build a building. Sooooo the next scenario started the fighting. Had to fight off pirates or something. It used the same village. As I built my watch tower and learned how to create fighitng units I slowly gathered them around the watch tower. Well the poor goat looked lonely so I brought him along too and just about sent my young friend into fits. My goat warrior has ruined a young mind. ps. Anyone want Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator? Not quite legacy but not sure if it's current.

No you have to do it yourself. They can either be all docked in the CC and you sell from the CC stores or you can jump in each one individually and do it.

Ok, here we go. From the BC3K !!! version control file quote:If you create waypoints on a planet, the ship entering the planet will emerge at the location of the FIRST waypoint. Previously, the ship would emerge at the center of the region and then have to fly to the first waypoint. If you are flying the ship, you will also enter the planet at this first waypoint. If no waypoints are set, the ship will default to emerging at the center of the region. That's what I'm remembering and observing. Otherwise you are correct. The manual is never wrong. Just superceded.

Wish I could find it but I'm sure it was changed along the way somewhere. It could be lumped in with "minor fixes" in the vcf and not specifically mentioned. Will look some more but can't promise anything. The point is don't crash. Or land in water like Delta said. That IS mentioned alot.

For a really simple scenario and universe start the game and after the logos play and the main screen with the ship comes up click Training Academy. Choose the first in the list; "Commander" scenario, and read the description. CLick accept and it starts you out in a safe region in a MK2 Battlecruiser. Here you can practice jumping to various points in this systems (but don't leave it yet). You can also practice assiggning marines to search, assigning pilots, launching fighters, assigning the fighters to patrol, and just all sorts of stuff in a safe region. Not a safe universe though. It tells you if you stray you may get attacked (why I said don't leave yet). That's just to bone up on the commands and junk then you can start a Roam campaign. Some you get an enemy right away and others you can wait for a long time. It's what the game decides. So if you are just starting out and happen to get a Roam campaign where enemies jump in straight away you may get creamed and frustrated. Instant action is good too. If you pick the right one you start in a fighter with a script that has been around since BC3K when it was called Xtreme Carnage. How long to survive? Learn how to run like hell! Easy. How to stomp rear? A while.

1) You are talking about mining I am going to assume. You can't transfer cargo (the minerals you just mined) to the CC via the waypoints menu(s). What you have to do is go to Tactical>Loadout>SC?>Drone where ? = the number of a shuttle aboard the CC. Let's say SC1 just came back. Then you would access Tactical>Loadout>SC1>Drone. If the drone is on board it will have button to " unload all cargo ". You can get to Tactical from the Bridgeview or expanding the Tacops menu and clicking tactical from there. 2) Personal choice. Some people rotate them out at 10% fatigue but they will eventually go on their own. 3)Hmmm. One deck at least has a little button that you have to click to see about 8 more systems. If your power is off there is a reason. Did you try turning it back on? Perhaps you are out of fuel. No power no workie. 4) Good tip. You may want to post that in the tips and tricks forum.
