I am back recently myself and that was one of the first things I noticed. Two years ago active topics regularly had 10 to 20 in it and now it seems like none to 5. Someone needs to come off the bench and light this team on fire!!! Me, I am happier than a pig in slop that UCCE is so stable and kick ass. For better or worse though, I think that when Knightblade and others come out things will perk up. Quazar and myself may be doing a little RP here in the near future and that will be good for an extra topic per week. The rest of you step it up, and to all the guests that I see hanging around when I am the only registered user: if you can handle the complexity of this game series then REGISTER DAMMIT!! After that, contribute what you are able. Most of us here understand the demands of RL and the demands of the most complex and powerful space sim ever devised by man. Sometimes you can stay, sometimes you gotta go(like I did once). I suspect that there will be a community here for a long time to come. Much like Captain Kirk, the SC is pursuing his first best destiny and anything else would be a "waste of material". He is the linchpin of this whole community and as long as he is around things are ok. So everybody take heart. UCCE is great, the SC is still active, and the core of this community(based upon about ten years of my observation as to who is the core)is still active. Long live Battlecruiser! (yes this is literal because one is in my hand as I click 'add reply'.

Alas SEGA, I knew you well. Once you made some of the greatest games ever across many a genre. Now all that I see are unpolished games that are mediocre at best. You have changed, and not for the better. Now I wish you(like Atari) you would just go away. That thought makes me sad.

There is strength in every moment. Sometimes you have to stop everything and listen with your entire soul. You will do just fine.

I will never forget the first time I exited my command craft and freaking walked on my ship for the first time. Then I zoomed out and was absolutely stunned at the sheer scale of the game again! I think SC you are lucky enough to have felt the faintest wisp of what God must have felt when the universe(s) got up and running. When all is said and done history will remember you fondly. Well done and thank you.

Yeah, I had my own little outburst once and was soundly rebuked by Remo. Then I realized that those were not the forums for me. Lit fuse in a tinderbox more likely.

The reviewer may have missed some details but obviously has a respect for the game that many others do not. Hats off to that at least.

I just realized that I have spent close to three hundred dollars on this game(x2), assorted extras, and a gig of new memory. Hmmm, maybe Alan Greenspan needs to know about one more tool to kickstart a sagging economy when needed.

You know what's really crazy? Dell plasmas blow chunks. I feel sorry for the sap that even thinks that buying a few thousand dollar tv online is a good idea. Doing the simple math means that if you subtract the Omega Bundle price of about $2000, you get the plasma for $2500. Judging by Dell's track record, that is an extremely high price. I could sell you the top rated Panasonic TH42PX50 for 2700, and you could exchange it within 30 days with no restocking fee if you don't like it.

It didn't in the original either. Yeah, this is going to be fantastic. BTW, it's Michelle Forbes, formerly Michelle Roche who is Admiral Cain (simply Commander Cain in the original series), not Nana Visitor. Always did have a thing for both of them.
