What is "poverty" in America considered whne compared to poverty in the rest of the world? I know several people that live below the poverty line in the USA. they have 2 fairly new cars, TV's, Own their own home, run their own business, send their kids through college, and have enough left for vacations. Sure this might not be the case will every person below the poverty line, but then again poverty in America for the most part is wealth in the eyes of countries with real poverty.
