  2. vote added
  3. thumbs up indeed, that was hysterical... classic!
  4. http://www.imdb.com/news/flash/ reservoir dogs actor and rush hour actor died.
  5. more impressions anyone? haven't been able to get the demo myself...
  6. And still going, the game sounds very cool! I might try it when it comes out, if there is a demo.
  7. fantastic and groundbreaking accompanied by suck in the same description of the game... I don't think SUCK is quite the word you may have been seeking... Probably not be anything new...which SUCKS, but the game won't SUCK. ok that word is really annoying now.
  8. hey yeah I caught this while browsing too... most of the paragraphs are suspect until the end...
  9. hey new one,,,, don't know if this was posted, but dont remember trying it and I tried most that were. This one is good. http://www.epochstar.com/
  10. No I was so excited I came in here... After doing so I went there. but this "This will be the final BC/UC franchise stream" is what led me to ask about BCNG...
  11. pardon my ignorance but can this new xbox go to higher resolutions now like the computer? Or still limited by t.v or does it depend on what TYPE of t.v you have. Also I've been thinking, this thing can have a mouse now right? Then what is to stop someone setting it up on a computer desk, by a nice 29 inch flat screen, nice sound system, and playing games FPS style like with computers? No quirks no compatability issues.
  12. Great news all around, a bit sad about the battlecruiser part, but all good things must come to an end... Are you still going forward with GCO? I take it BCG is now Last Decade? Also how do you cope with so many projects at the same time, anyway... I'll be buying/playing all! Can't wait for Knightblade, the concept sounds interesting from what I read before.
  13. didn't Richard play Oneal for almost as long? I stopped getting the show after 3 seasons, I refuse to watch what new episodes I might see now, with the hope one day of getting the season DVD's because I really like this show. It went from being a new planet a week show, to being something totally more.... really engaging stories. And I really liked O'neal's character.
  14. definitely broken
  15. thanks everyone
  16. Did I post first impressions? I don't think so. But my impression of UCAWA is short and sweet; I have not played a battlecruiser game so addictively since bc3k 2.0. and in all my 7 or so years of battlecruising. If I went in depth I could probably put my finger on what seems to be the key things that are making the difference for me with AWA. But the game is just never boring, the situations you can get in and the means to get out of them are so dare I say (realistic). The graphics are good, the beam weapons thick and harmful. The combat engaging. The gameplay, stuff you can do with your ship and crew and your alter ego are engaging. I am almost going to be sad to leave behind AWA at the release of a game that goes back to its namesake, namely BCNG.
  17. not that I need it, but just checking it out.
  18. fair enough but I am still buying
  19. fool the magazine is still in the gun when he sends forward the slide as far as I can tell. first thing first, remove the magazine, second thing after racking is lock the slide and make a visual inspection of the chamber, just in case of a faulty extractor. terrible fire him! 20. it doesn't scan the game files when you open a game? I disable my dsl now when I turn it off, because of all the random exploits that I have seen it stop.
  21. congrats! hey dread how is UCAWA going for ya!
  22. I've finnaly settled down with some free time, and kicked up X3 and actually got addicted. Its a nice universe, execellent graphics, but I think an aqcuired taste as mentioned. It is really hard to GET into initially. First couple times I tried, I quit in frustration thanking myself it was only 39.99. But the game gives a great amount of satisfaction. In terms of building and maintaining your own empire, it is quite cool. I remember Derek mentioning the ability to build stations in the next BC game don't know if that is still in, but that would be great. In UC I'm missing my empire from X3, and in X3, I am missing the excellent do anything possible with your own starship sort of thing, in terms of the first person mode, landing on planets etc.... my UCAWA game is on hold for now. And I was just planning a major invasion.... waiting for my crew to rest... SETA anyone? EDIT: @joebeard. I recommend over 1 gig of ram to play smooth and cut down load times, for example, loading a game will docked in Argon Prime takes forever on 512 ram, also jumping into it, with 1.5 gigs, its fine. 23. http://startrekforum.stgu.com/showthread.p...98004#post98004 It has been confirmed by Harry Wang of Paramount, star trek games to come out before STO, normal single and multiplayer games, the latest being Star Trek: Legacy which will supposedly blow us with the screenshots. If it looks half as good as X3 I will be surprised. [ 03-10-2006, 10:15 AM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
  24. I just have to say, tune up utilities 2006 is BOSS, it does everything, and it finds everything, for a non specific program, it finds more errors in the registry than registry mechanic. Try it , you won't be disappointed.
  25. Wold, he isn't sleeping through the night yet. there are three pictures of him here, I took them with my phone. He is 2 weeks old here. wearing stage 2 diapers, and some 6-9 month old clothes. Heck I saw a 6 month old baby no bigger than mine is now at 7 weeks. http://planet.angelfire.com/planet/cruis/ pictures bottom right.
