    James Blunt

Anyone know him? British singer who was in the army. Anyway his song "You're Beautiful" for anyone who knows of him or it, I am wondering, I know there are two versions, radio and CD, I heard the CD version at a friend, and the one I've been hearing on the radio sounds different, the one on the radio sounds faster, and it takes out the cursing part where he says "f*cking high" and changes it to flying high. So if anyone knows are the two versions sung in different keys or what? And at different tempos?
  6. Just wanted to say that tune up utilities 2006 found like 250 errors in my drive, after scans with Ccleaner, registry mechanic and others... its very good in my opinion. also downloaded avast free home edition for viruses.
  7. i usually order in bulk, reduces the shipping, instead of 3 separate orders
  8. Who's getting this one? I think this will be a nice title for online play for me, I'm not really a battlefield fan... but then again I never tried it on a good computer that could have good frames, so Ill do that first
  9. PLayed it, didn't like it. I like a little sense to my carnage. If that makes sense... ala call of duty. btw, this game has been trashed by reviewers and users alike, it is off the radar now.
  10. and just to mention, I prefer user opinions on here (trusted tried and true) than reading online sites which might be fluff. thanks for the info.
  11. cool, I'll get the gig of ram and try f.e.a.r. first before I decide upon any partition maneuvers, though I love the idea. Also I defragged with OO for ACCESS, like you said.
  12. and you can choose not to answer.
  13. When is 64bit going to be the standard? And I take it you can't run 64 bit windows on a current setup, you need a 64 bit motherboard or computer or chip right? Also all the programs for win32, will they work on win64 backwards compatible, and will people start writing programs for win64 only and not in win32 eventually?
  14. so you set up a partition and then installed f.e.a.r. to it. partition magic is expensive though. But I like the idea of creating a partition for all my games. and the textures if in high resolution, cause stutter.
  15. just like the list of space games in the gaming forum I thought we could keep a list of programs we use. Which had I really been paying attention I would have known of and used over the years and saved alot of aggravation. So far I've been recommended and used. Registry Mechanic 5.0 Disk Keeper 9.0 Perfect Disk O&O Defrag ccleaner tune up utilities 2006 Only thing I'm checking for now is a good reliable anti virus.
  16. name the kid CC, for a middle name
  17. I defragged with Disk Keeper, which has always done a good job for me. I have O&O as well, but uninstalled it, I have PerfectDisk as well, which you recommended to defrag the paging file.
  18. bingo So maybe with an extra gig of ram I'll be good to go. all for a 10 hour single player campagne...
  19. so really with 900 being used, its using the hard drive to simulate the rest of ram needed, which even I know isn't so good right?
  20. DiskKeeper for defragging. wow I never gave that thought, that the area used for the page file never gets defragged. so the textures is memory ram?
  21. i defragged while it was installed. Also I played around with all the settings, the greatest and most significant change and a halt to 90 percent of the hitching came with moving Texture Resolution from Max to Min. I enabled all the bells and whistles, soft shadows, the works, cpu max, graphics max, effects and everything, 1024, FSAA and AF 16x, and still got between 30-100 frames. With Texture resolution on Min, but then I disabeld all those bells and whistles sending the frames skyrocketing and no hitching, then turned texture resolution to max and it gone back hitching, I mean all effects off or miniumum and 800 & 600 resolution. It says in the game texture resolution gives crisper look to the textures at cost of more memory usage, but it didnt specify video memory or computer memory, but I have to assume they mean video memory since this option is located in the graphics settings menu...if I am wrong correct me. I cant believe setting texture resolution to max with all effects off could still cause stutter... so it must be ram? because thats where I fall down. let me know
  22. well I think I want f.e.a.r. but not if I cant solve the hitching issue. here my specs, p4 3.0 sb live 24 bit 512 ram 256 x800 xt 80 gig HD. Nothing spectacular, but it's high frames in the 80's except when the HD hitches of course. I tried lessening the CPU and Graphics settings, I tried all the recommendations, my drivers are up to date, I even put sound quality to minumum... nothing it still hitches. Do you think another gig of ram would solve the issue?
  23. not yet but it is in my cart at ebgames, have you? soon very soon.
  24. Id like to see a legend of zelda
