been looking at the manual guess I have to go back to it. Been posting from work. So don't be too hard. Derek, you're getting mellow, you would have hammered me by now.

I also pushed alt-d, the problem is my alter-ego is not targetting the craft. I aim my weapon at the craft and usually like before I am expecting to see a green box appear around signifying I have locked onto it, and hence then press alt+d to enter it. However that is not happening. I started a new game and did it. The green targetting box appears once I exit my craft and I am able to get back inside. Also cannot re-enter my shuttlecraft either, once I exit it.

Ok so I've left the ship on a planet for about 10 hours while trading, now that I have come back to dock with it, the shuttle won't dock. This happened before, possible the power is out or low and systems like launch control don't have power. So I exit the shuttle and try to board the craft right? Well pressing / doesn't get me in so I'm kind of stumped as to how the hell I would get back in to remedy what ever is wrong if anything. [ 09-15-2005, 07:45 AM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

I know you can't go pissing around with the numbers, I was letting you know that it is one thing I don't like. But I wonder how others feel about the times, because when you look at it, it does add to the feeling of small ship big universe because it takes an acceptable time to fly from one end of the galaxy to the other. I was thinking more of an across the board fraction cut thereby retaining the balance, but everything is reduced. Oh and I did try the IA scenario it is just so much to do in so short time I getting right now, but I did get in a big battle and it was fun. Even though I died. And it was way cool looking at it... oh yeh that is why I died, I was just looking at the battle and not doing anything! I wish the manual would hurry up and come.

hmm, well, I like to have alot of reserves in the bank so when I start trading again, a run would give me like 100 million profit instead of slowly building up again. I just think it was going kind of slow.

its the best damn game in the series in my opinion and after 7 years of playing I am having incredible fun playing it. Graphics are lovely. I can hear PTA firing now (love that) couldn't before, don't know or I can't say whether it had a sound, or I just wasn't hearing it. Laser beams look thick and sweet which I also noticed from UC. was that a little better? As for what I don't like, only one thing really. I play a cruiser so this doesn't affect me as much, but I find hyper jump transit times are too long for carriers, and even though shorter for cruisers still too long. Also the normal thrust speed for when you are not in hyper space is too low. This was one change I never liked in BCM from bc3k. Alot of time is spent flying the rest of the way to dock with a station that you jump to etc etc... It really is a lull in activity. And that is the only gripe I have.

anyone got any good trading plans for terran mil for AWA? I am getting tired of 30 percent between Galcom and Wraith and dying frequently all of a sudden because I meet up on an enemy capital ship at one of the jump points, passing me in one go and of course obliterating my shuttle before I can say "JUMP!"

any other good trade routes?

been having fun so far, trying to get rich, no crashes, latest video drivers and sound accel down a notch, left it on all day too. However, after trading for hours and not saving, I went to get a drink while jumping and a damn capital ship killed my shuttle... RATZ... those bastards.

i got it finnaly, with manual as well, means i ordered it as well as the manual, if you read the whole thread this may have been clear, or maybe i am confused because i could swear he mentioned here you could be the manual as well if you wanted as a limited version would be available.

I can't remember the story or any of the game really now, all I remember is loving it. The movie looks cool, it's good to see Cloud in action again, he was just a cool hero.

But as your interaction has been online only or by phone and not in person, developing feelings that last, and getting into an actual relationship is where the question marks might come in. Because by relationship I assume, you mean full relationship and not just one continued on the internet. And for you to know if you love her and if she really loves you, you'll have to be with her and not just through the internet. But notice up front I said meeting online and subsequently dating/marrying or whatever is your thing is not far fetched today... but determining true feelings you'll need more than just the net.

I was never brain washed. I quite believe in legalasing, it might confuse you to hear me say so, when all this time you think I am against it. But if you read my first post, I am worried about the main reason behind legalising it, because you couldn't stop it, it's just sets a bad precedent to me. Drugs are just so huge and so incomprehensibly so, that I'm afraid you are really not grasping it's significance. I mean that from a lack of experience and not knowledge... I am a narcotics officer, or narc as you probably call them... anyway, and I don't know everything, but it is very scary. So much people involved in trafficking, I just can't fuss my head to name them.
