Ok guys, after chatting a bit with Charles, I've decided to give away this old Voodoo5500 card I have....for free! I don't need it anymore since I've upgraded to the Radeon 64DDR. The V5500 is in excellent condition. Out of the kindness of my heart (and more importantly, just to show that us Insurgents are not evil) I'll give it away for free. Be advised though, I'm only sending it to someone in the continental United States. Ok first come, first served! BTW, its a Voodoo5500 64meg AGP card. [ 10-09-2001: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

quote: you found any use for the heavy cavalry shohashi? So far they are expensive fodder That's what I've been doing with them! I'm not sure if the The Mongel Invasion version changes that or not as I don't have that. quote: SHOGUN: TOTAL WAR WARLORD EDITION, the battlefield ninja's are better and yes there's a use for the heavy calvary, shock troops, just use 2 troops to charge the enemy with lots and lots of yari samurai backup and the result will be evident. Wow...may have to pick that one up. Did they fix multiplayer? In the first one, multiplayer was a nightmare...even with the patches. quote: I like "Starships Unlimited" - it's a Realtime 4x strategy game which focuses on the ships and exploration - Been giving this a try..seems ok..but I wish you could change the resolution. It seems to play in 640x480 which looks like crap on my 19" monitor. Be nice if you could crank it up to 1024x768! [ 10-06-2001: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

After watching past two episodes of Enterprise, I have concluded that I like it. It's not bad at all. One hard thing for me to accept, and I'm sure I'll adapt in time, is their level of technology. Other than that...good show!

quote: Also try out SHOGUN:TOTAL WAR I agree, Tac. I have that game also and play the heck out of it!

Fleet Recruitment Reorganization Proposal
ShoHashi replied to aramike's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
quote: Insurgents spectre 14 total 40 eversor 10 balor 10 bisharmon 6 First thing..its "Bishamon" not bisharmon. Second thing, I can say for a fact that my fleet has all inactive personnel purged. I'll continue to keep it up-to-date by conducting monthly roll calls. Thirdly, I don't mind Bishamon being small because of our "special" missions. Anyways, back on topic! -
Hey Charles, if you need reinforcements to beef up your fleet, I can TDY you about two Commanders!

quote: It's a good one. And you probably won't see it until it's already rollin'. And, once in place, all of our online BC lives will be MUCH easier. Especially behind the scenes. Good! quote: All I can say is that you guys have NO idea how much work Derek puts in to keeping this place clean. I help as best as I can, but he tirelessly works at it. I for one, appreciate the work that Derek and you put into it, Aramike. Also, I'm late on responding, but I do agree with the SCs intention of redoing the forum access.

Thanks, Hasenau!

One thing that I've noticed about Gallion's missions/scripts is that once he finishes it he's never happy. He'll keep tinkering with it and refine it more. [ 09-25-2001: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

quote: Parias was quoted on that flap about the map editor. Ah, I see! quote: Yeah, Sho, pretty good job of getting to the nuts and bolts of infantry combat, heh? And the campaign is really nicely tied together. Yeah, Aramike, they did do quite a good job on that. Too bad they made it using the Army for branch of service! Shoulda used the Marines!
-
quote: Heh, those of you with the U.S. version, grab the box, open up the inside flap, and take a look at the lower left area, primarily where it talks about the mission editor Ok, Parias, I see that on the box, but I'm not following you.....can you elaborate? I've had it for the past week or two. I really like..plus, its a little nostalgic to me. I served in the Marines back in the 80s so its a bit of deja vu(sp?). I haven't had the chance to play a multiplayer game yet.

quote: Here's the question I have: what use would tactical nukes be in this kind of conflict? Look at the nature of the Afghan militants and please tell me what good dropping even a tac-nuke on them would be. A little overkill, I think. Agreed, Aramike, definately overkill. And, on the other hand, I certainly hope that bin Laden or other terrorists don't get their hands on them. Could get messy. [ 09-21-2001: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

To Rattler, Akira, Gallion, Charles and all other Insurgents, thank you very much for the congratulations. This promotion really means a lot, and I have no intention of ever letting Bishamon Fleet and the Insurgency down. I will continue to serve in the best interests of the Insurgency. I also would like to inform all current members of Bishamon Fleet that I will continue to have an open door policy for the Fleet. If you have a fleet-related problem or even a personal problem and feel that you just need to talk, don't be afraid to email me. I will attempt to help you to the best of my ability. Again, thank you all very much and, in the words of Rattler, LONG LIVE THE INSURGENCY! quote: Congratulations even from an enemy! Thanks, Epsilon 5...and oh, btw, I'll be seeing you on the battlefield one day! [ 09-12-2001: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

Welcome back, Hasenau! Sent a private message to you with instructions on getting back in the Fleet. Any questions, let me know. [ 08-28-2001: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

Ok, gents, please listen up! Two weeks have already passed on this day from the time I sent the first messages to all Bishamon Fleet members. As you can see from the status message above in this thread, five of us are active. Aramike said: quote: Whoever doesn't reply within a week, change their status to MIA. In two weeks, delete them from the DB. As per Vice Admiral Michael Kristophers' above orders, I have deleted the MIA individuals with the exception of Vice Admiral Sandau. Akira said: quote: Sho, It's your fleet. For now. Use the "Interim" in you sig. In 30 days, having not heard from Rattler or JB or some other viable reason, you will have the job perm. This is why I haven't deleted Vice Admiral Sandau from the database. I want to give him the full amount of time as ordered above by Akira. I would like to say on record, however, that if I do get the job permanently and Vice Admiral Sandau returns, I will happily relinquish command of the fleet to him if need be. Dismissed! Welcome back, Chris. According to the Fleet Database, you are still assigned to Spectre Fleet. It's been that way since Rattler pulled all the CSOs and CEO from stations and bases a while back. Plus, I'm sure the admiralty won't mind you coming back. Hmmm, just thought of a saying here..."Once an Insurgent, always and Insurgent." Sound familiar, Aramike? quote: I am in the fleet database but seems like I can't log in. Are you using your right password and login? As for your sig...if you follow what Eclipse has set up in his sig, you'll be good to go. Here's also a quote from Aramike in another thread that will help you as well. quote: UBB Code: http://www.3000ad.com/cgibin/ultimatebb.cg...b=ubb_code_page If you still need help, let us know. quote: Sho, It's your fleet. For now. Use the "Interim" in you sig. In 30 days, having not heard from Rattler or JB or some other viable reason, you will have the job perm. Understood, Akira. Your comments were pretty near to what Aramike stated earlier. On another note, where the heck is Rattler? I used to see him online a lot...now I haven't seen him in months. quote: However, it's not a job any sane person would want... so don't consider it a promotion, but rather a better seat in hell But, you're there already, you should know this, hehe. Not to mention, you'll be in charge of parts of my toy factory. I do love my toys Well, then I must BE insane then...maybe that's why Rattler put me in Bishamon! As for the toys, bring them on....New Frontier needs a little action!

quote: I see Hasenau occasionally. I could try to contact him. That would certainly help, Charles. Thank you. quote: This is Yazin Re'trat, reporting in! I didn't see this thread earlier which is why I never posted to it. I've been here a while, I just tend to lurk about in the shadows . I imagine thats how it is in a lot of cases, people are probably waiting for the release of BC:M and then they'll start showing up again. Some of the assignment information in my sig is pretty old, and I'm not sure whether any of it has been updated or not. So if I'm assigned elsewhere, let me know so I can fix it. Thanks for reporting in Commander Yazin Re! You are not assigned elsewhere at this time, so you sig is good. I'll research it though, just to be sure. If anything changes, I'll let you know. Just a bit of helpful advice though, you may want to monitor the Insurgent forum a bit more closely so you don't miss any pertinent information! Also, if you would, can you double-check your information in the Fleet database to make sure it is up to date?
-
quote: Sho, Yazin Re has an email address. You have the clearance so just click on "Edit this profile". You'll find it in there. Doh!!! Thanks, Aramike. Email sent to Commander Yazin Re. quote: Whoever doesn't reply within a week, change their status to MIA. In two weeks, delete them from the DB. Understood.

Well, Hellbinder, after having this thread going for a week, I'd say that you and I are the only active members of Bishamon Fleet! Unless, of course, they are all on a mission and nobody told us about it!
