After keeping up with this thread since it started, I've decided to comment on the whole issue. Firstly, remember, the world is full of people who just are plain ignorant. They don't care about other people's property. Unfortunately, its not a perfect world. Aramike and Jaguar are right guys. You can report all you want in this forum, but as long as you just have tourist accounts, you are just setting yourselves up to be vandalized. I don't mean to offend anyone here, after all you guys are taking the initiative to resurrect the Commander's Village, but your basically just wasting your time setting up logging, etc. Register and problem is solved! I'm off my soapbox now.

What about a Bishamon fleet logo, Menchise? We still don't have one. Is there any way you can come up with a few prototypes for our Fleet to look at? I'd do it myself, but I'm not that artistically inclined! Maybe it should have something to do with our mission...just an idea.

To add more to what Aramike said, here's a little more background on Memorial Day that I dug up: Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The South refused to acknowledge the day, honoring their dead on seperate days until after World War I (when the holiday changed from honoring just those who died fighting in the Civil War to honoring Americans who died fighting in any war). It is now celebrated in almost every State on the last Monday in May (passed by Congress in 1968 to ensure a three day weekend for Federal holidays), though several southern states have an additional, separate day for honoring the Confederate war dead: January 19 in Texas, April 26 in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi; May 10 in South Carolina; and June 3 (Jefferson Davis' birthday) in Louisiana and Tennessee.

Even though I've been out of the military for 13 years, Memorial Day is very special for me..almost like my birthday. It's MY day as well as any other veteran, fallen or still alive and I celebrate it as such. I salute my fellow servicemen..still enlisted or out! Thanks, Charles, for starting this thread!

Basically, DeD means "Dynamic Entity Deconstruction." It's the technology the SC is using for the purpose of blowing up ships and stations when they are destroyed.
