Sorry my answer took so long but Josh if you read above, which you might have by now, you would see that this field makes every particle in the ship move as one. So if everyone is moving with the ship then I don't see how it could hurt anything, if there is a way please inform me. I could spread the acceleration out but that could ruin the plot in the movie. You see in this movie the ship is not just travelling about the Galaxy but the entire Universe. Although I would still like to see this spreadsheet you speak of. pkzip I think you forgot that my ship does not reach this speeds in Normal or Real Space, which ever you prefer, it reaches this speed in an Interspacial Tunnel. It was asked why my ship stops accelerating at that speed....Well how does this sound. At that speed, the hull stress is at a safe level, so they could go faster, but they risk tearing the ship apart. As for my Particle Incinerater, I think that it will work. A few days ago I saw an old episode of Sliders that I already saw before but forgot about. Anyway, in this episode they land on a world where the Cromags (Probably not correct spelling) are developing a weapon that can tear apart the sub-atomic particles of human, but not a Cromag. Although you could set it to do the opposite. Sound familar? My engines create tunnels through real space that I call Interspacial Tunnels . In these tunnels it's capable of going faster than light because......well I'm working on because. I love it when they ask question a) During the movie, the ship needs to find certain 'artifacts' (we'll call them) that spread out across the entire Universe. BTW, my first calculation was indeed correct as I forgot the ship will not be staying in this Galaxy. So it needs to move at a lightyear a minute in order to reach these places within their lifetime. What prevents a car from going faster. It can't go faster because the engines won't allow it too. c) What is a Non-Relativistic Universe. If you mean unrealistic, I must no. I'm trying to make it as realistic as possible which is why I will think up theories of how this ship will move this fast. d) It takes to approximately 1 second to reach this speed. But so that the engines will not take off without the rest of the ship it generates a sheild around the ship that makes everything within this sheild move as one. Also, I'm already planning on making it take less time to build. I'm not sure how but I intend to have it built in a maximum of a 75 year time frame. I was wondering if it would be at all possible for someone to create this partically incinerator. Well, I don't mind carrying it on to the next thread anyway. I wasn't really sure how I was going to get a crew member off of a Fleet Commanders ship anyway, couldn't exactly start a fire fight . Also, Since my ship's name has yet to have mentioned by anyone else but myself, I've decided to change it's name. I found a much better name that means the same thing. The new name of my ship is the UCV-Susceptor, which means Guardian in Latin I will edit my previous message and signature to this name, and this time I'm sticking with it. Now for some RPing.... [RP] "Twenty Million?!" Jake exclaimed, "and all we have to do is capture a Marine?" "Not as easy as it sounds Jake, I doubt he got on a Fleet Commanders ship because of his addictive personality. He's probably a good Marine that F.C. Savage won't want to just hand over to us." Zeke said, but Jake didn't seem to be listening. Once Jake had something one way in his mind, it was almost impossible to turn him around. "Commander, most of the ships seem to be leaving the vicinity." Tacops Officer Christel Swordo informed him. "Take us off Passive Radar and find out what ships have been having all the fun in here." Cmdr. Stone ordered. "We have Insurgent and Galcom ships in the area," Swordo observed with little surprise. As some of you may know, I'm a writer and I just had to get into the action here. Unfortunately I couldn't wait to read it all before posting this. I'm slow reader and very impatient, This is my first time RPing here, so enjoy [RP] He never did like taking orders from people, infact that was the reason he left Galcom. He was still considered a green Commander when he left and wasn't missed. What they didn't know was how experienced he actually was, being a former Mercenary can give you experience. Even though he had paved over his backround before joining Galcom some people could tell that he didn't really used to be a Trader just by the way he worked his ship. Now here he was, in charge of a Galcom Battlecruiser, yet, not a part of the whole charade. Galcom HQ probably wanted their ship back, but he wasn't about to give up the UCV Guardian without a fight. "Navigation, where are we!?" Commander Zeke Stone yelled at his Nav officer, Kochnev. He never did trust Kochnev, she seemed to be hiding something. He never did trust Russians. "Uh...uh..." Kochnev stuttered before being interrupted by Cmdr. Stone "We're not in Pluto like I asked, are we?!" "No, Sir" Kochnev replied nervously. Zeke Sighed, "We need to get to Pluto before we run out of Radine. Besides, there's a job there for us." "Aye, Sir. Sorry, Sir." "Zeke, I'm getting some strange readings here," Zeke's XO and best friend, Jake Burke, replied looking at the Tacops. Jake and Zeke had been Mercenaries together, always watching each others back. Jake was an incredibly good sniper, this had saved Zeke on many occassions. "What is it?" "There are a strange amount of ships in this area, some of them even have friendlies targeted." Jake informed him. "I don't like the sound of that. Make sure they don't see or hear a peep from us, I don't want to get in the middle of this." The UCV-Susceptor dissapeared and continued toward Pluto. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Radine to hyperjump to the jump point. His words were a bit slurred and Zeke wondered if what he was saying was really happening. Nevertheless he told him to direct the message to his quarters. He headed for his quarters, if there was no message at least he could have a drink too. Cmdr. Stone didn't like to be the only one not drinking. Once in his quarters he checked his personal viewer for the message and was surprised to discover, Paul Trevise, head of a small but growing Mercenaries Guild, on his screen. "Cmdr. Stone, I have an important job and I heard you were back. The job may be difficult but there is 20 million in it for you. It seems there is a Marine on board the GCV Tsunami that owes someone a lot of money, I do mean a lot. He thought he could escape by becoming a Marine on a Fleet Commanders ship, well I want you to prove him wrong. This guy wants him alive, he didn't tell me what he's going to do with the guy, but I doubt it's good. Please send me your response to this job ASAP" the screen blinked off. Zeke poured himself something to drink and began to think over this job. After about fifteen minutes of drinking he sent a positive responce. I don't know for sure the answer to your question, but I see the UCV group as more of a Mercenaries Guild than a Fleet. We're basically a bunch of free loaders out trying to make it on our own, with maybe a little help along the way. I already tried re-installing and no I didn't download them to the BC3K folder. How would that make a difference? My Specs are as follows: Cyrix MII 300 (that's 233mhz) 32MB RAM 4MB On-Board SiS Video Card (because it's on-board it takes away 4MB from the RAM) 36X Creative CD-Rom Not sure what else you need to know, but I found out a couple months ago that there is a corrupt *.cab file on my Windows 95 CD. This *.cab file contains my Kernel32.dll file. I'm running version 2.0 because I the patches do not work on my system. When I install the patches, the game gets as far as the intro before crashing to windows. I have a few names I feel I should explain mostly because I am bored at the momment. Commander Zeke Stone: I got this name from a TV series I really liked but it got canceled before the guy finished his mission. The show was called Brimstone, and the characters name was Zekio Stone. He was sent from hell to bring back 113 souls that escaped. If he suceeded he was given life once again. His friends called him Zeke. Xop Shmra: I was going to use these two names as the names of two alien races in my movie, but decided to make it a character instead. Xop is from the Starcontrol series. It's just Supox spelt backwards and cut off. Shmra I made up. UCV-Guardian: I have a JK clan called the Guardians of Time. Me and my cousin made this clan and currently aren't playing JK anymore, oh well. My name in the clan is TGT_Shmra_L. When I used to play JK, I would play the RPG games with the Drazen Isle level a lot. I decided to make my own continuing plot with Xop Shmra. Well, I waited it out and they headed for the Galley. Unfortunately for them, I had five marines waiting for them outside the interceptor and there were some off duty marines in the Galley if they somehow got passed the first wave. My Pilots were having a big nap in the medibay after a few long battles in a row when suddenly I go to yellow alert because there are 4 intruders on my ship. As I was battling one of them in the Mid Corridor the other three decided to lock themselves in my interceptors and now they won't come out. My best solution is to wait until they get so hungry that they either a)die b)head for the galley or c)head for the shuttles. Is there a better way of being rid of them?
