I am quite cetain that the only injury that the little fellow suffered was the self inflicted cuts with the glass. North Carolina man sentenced to 9 years for spam
Wolferz replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Spamming is only the tip of the iceberg here boys and girls. It's not so much the fact that Spammers like to jam up the traffic on the net with unsolicited E-mail, it's what is sometimes contained within the E-mail, most likely unbeknownst to the dumbass spammer. Malware is not something I want installed on my system while I'm looking at a stinking E-mail ad that I didn't ask for. I'm sure you will agree. Then there are the cheap money grubbing spammers who like to use spoofed addies as the origination point, making it look like someone else sent it, maybe you. Last but not least, have you ever tried to get your addie taken off their list? It's an exercise in futility. I am of the opinion that when you send them a "Take me off your list request" they do take you off their list, but then add your addie to 100 other lists so you get a thousand fold more unsolicited crap, or your addie gets placed on the bombard with malware list or the fresh meat spoofed addie list just for good measure to teach your ornery hide not to send TOL requests. I say round them up, drop them on a deserted island covered with hidden cameras and microphones for a new reality series. Have a helicopter drop supplies once a month containing nothing but SPAM mystery meat and fresh water. Cruel and unusual punishment you say? Let the punishment fit the crime I always say. I wonder how many of them would commit suicide around the sixth month of getting Spammed for breakfast lunch and dinner? -

I viewed a movie once where a woman who had been raped caught her assailant and had the word RAPIST tattoed on his forehead. Perhaps we should try that on criminals, at least on the ones who are convicted beyond a shadow of a doubt. -
I'm taking bets that the above mentioned personna won't make good on their promise/threat.

Its interesting to note that the only means we have of learning about the outcome is through the mainstream media. An entity that is suspect due to recent developments in regard to inaccurate or downright false stories being presented by unscrupulous reporters. So who the hell knows with 100% cetainty? Like I have postulated before; Our election system is a joke and is controlled by those who shouldn't be controlling anything. /me puts on raincoat and boots in preperation for the excrement that will inevitably hit the rotary cooling device. Your prediction for the democratic nominee in 2008 is right on the money, SC. Billary has the ambition to become the first woman president, just so she and Billy Boy can continue their free ride on the backs of the taxpayers. I'm sure Bill would just love being the first First Gentleman and have unrestricted access to more interns. Chelsea; you must be very proud of your mom and dad. ROTFLMAO

George Carlin confronts reality
Wolferz replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Laughter, The Best Medicine
I'm in total agreement with you there, SC. Carlin has always been one of my favorite comedians because he sees things the way I do or would.Especially when it comes to word play. The one quote from the book hits truth on the head, even if it's sad to note it, it's still the truth. quote: "If you're born into this world you are given a free ticket to the freak show. If you're born in America you get a front row seat."George Carlin. -

Some random thoughts of mine on Conservatism and my beliefs
Wolferz replied to a topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
You have been very quiet of late, Silk and your words above could light a fire on a beacon of hope. but, in regard to your thoughts of third party candidates I say this, The third party candidate has been removed from the ballot in this state by legal wrangling at the behest of one of the main 2 parties. So my third choice has been taken away by lawyers and a Judge, leaving me with only two choices, neither of which I would give the time of day much less vote for. Our political system is all but irretrievably broken and I am frustrated because I have no answer on how it can be fixed, short of a civil war. Case in point: I pulled my Voter Registration Card from it's storage place in my desk drawer this morning and frankly I am most displeased as to what is printed on the back of it, albeit: THIS REGISTRATION IS PERMANENT only as long as you continue to live within your present voting district. Notify the Registration Commission promptly in writing if you change your address. Please check your election district for accuracy. if you feel we have made an error call the voter services office. All pretty standard understandable stuff, except for maybe the ORDER to notify them if you move. but here's where it gets good at the bottom of this paragraph; WARNING This card relates only to date of issue: Not Proof of right to vote. err what was that last line again???? And why did I register to vote in this district and receive this nifty card if it isn't proof that I'm entitled to vote? What am I going to have to do to cast my ballot, show up with Drivers license, birth certificate and criminal background check? Personally, I am of the opinion that our Frelled up government controls too much in regard to our every day lives and they seem to have a special knack for doing so. Right down to voter registration. If seeing shit like this doesn't send the red flag up in your mind, then nothing ever will and you will be doomed to being controlled for the rest of your life. . -
Kal, you have made another false assumption... and you know what happens when we assume.... You have assumed that I am a Kerry supporter, which I am not. I don't support any political candidate whatsoever, especially not John Kerry or George Bush. As for that little TV special about Kerry and Viet Nam, I grew up watching that insanity. All of it. The protests, the war footage and the liberal application of brute force against any who opposed it in this country. Oops my bad, any who didn't have money and influence who opposed it. If I had been the president when Hanoi Jane went to North Viet Nam, the FBI would have been waiting for her at the airport for arrest on charges of high treason against the United States. But, knowing what I know now regarding how our dysfunctional government has been manipulated by a wealthy shadow government, my guess is that they were the ones who promoted Janes little visit as an olive branch and obtained and issued her visa to N Viet Nam. And it is also quite likely that Mr Kerry was influenced by these people of whom he is a member, the same as George Bush. It's order out of Chaos which is their mantra. The more chaotic, the more money they can make and the tighter they can grip their power. Xor, there were many soldiers who packed cameras in Nam. Mostly still Photography, but at the time there were 8mm motion picture cameras that were small enough to fit in a cargo pocket. I have personally viewed many a slide of pictures taken by an in-law who spent nearly 2 years in country as a swift boat pilot. He never mentioned any atrocities toward the civilian populace. The Viet Cong were doing plenty of that themselves. This left many of the civilians in a catch 22. Caught in the crossfire while tending to the business of survival for their families. It was pretty much just another case of the mighty United States shadow government trying to protect their illegal business interests in SE Asia. And pushing us towards a more military-industrial- state. Brainwashing an entire population in the process. This little piece about Jane and the POWs has been dredged up as a patriotic mudball to be slung at the opponent in this election, if you want to call it a free election, then the brainwashing is complete. I will amuse myself with the fallout that is going to occur after Jan 2k5, regardless of which candidate is placed in the Oval office. In the meantime, Watch where you step and try not to track all of this political BS onto the carpets. I have boot brushes on the porch, use them.

Flat-screen TV emits international distress signal
Wolferz replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Science, Technology & Health
I'm certain Toshiba wanted to retrieve that TV to find out how it mananged to do something that could get them in alot of trouble with the FCC. So replacing it would be the cheaper alternative. I wonder how many more of their sets are doing the same thing? -
Gadget Helps Women Use Bathroom in Japan

Echo, Darlin you are such a treasure. Passing gas is a natural thing for every animal on the planet. Rotting food will produce methane gas. Having too much methane within one's colon isn't healthy and can be quite painful. Therefore it must be expelled.I'm sure the sound princess is made for a dual purpose; ie: To mask the sound of escaping gas and to mask the sound of fecal matter splashing into the bowl after doing a one and a half gainer and giving you an impromptu sitzbath. The Japanese are such sticklers for cleanliness, it's only natural that the dirtiest of human actions would embarass them. On the other side of the pond we have us. Some of the crudest human beings on the planet. Just ask anyone who has had the gross opportunity to visit a truckstop mens restroom or a military latrine. Some of those guys are in serious need of medical intervention as well as psychological treatment, when they raise a stink to high heaven and then proudly crow about it. If we invented a way to collect all that methane, we could probably put a big dent in our current energy problems. quote: You can tell when someone really loves you if they are willing to share their gas with you. -

For Those Who Are Still Undecided
Wolferz replied to street228's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Absolutely correct, Jag. The Democrats have been challenging Nader's ballot bid in almost every state. Pa. has 27 electoral votes. I guess the Democrats feel that they can win those if the popular vote is close. Considering the credentials of the remaining two candidates, no matter who wins, we all lose. -
Smoking Gun against the U.N.

UN stands for United Nitwits? It's just another money making tool for the global neocons, controlled by the PNAC. I like their veiled forte`; "You're either with us or you're dead." What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall at every meeting of the PNAC,The CFR and the Trilateral Commission. Simply put, it's all manipulation for profit. Every conflict that is currently happening across the globe has been planned and orchestrated to occur for the sole purpose of profiteering with every resource the planet has to offer. The law grinds the poor and the rich control the law. Who's next for the grinder?
