And Kerry is better or different than Bush how?
Wolferz replied to LostInSpace's topic in Politics, Religion & Legal etc
Street, you are absolutely correct my friend. The real criminals and the real patriots are going to be forced to show their true colors soon. Another example of a loss of freedom, maybe the first one actually practiced by authorities: You are pulled over by a police officer while driving. Every police officer will begin a line questioning. "On the street interrogation" a'la Gestapo. May I see your license and registration? (papers) Where are you going? Where are you coming from? Do you have any drugs, weapons or other contraband in your car? Do you mind if I take a look? Now, don't misunderestimate me on this, I do not condone people hauling contraband around in their cars. But, if that officer finds anything he deems suspicious, you are going to jail, and can be held in jail until it is determined that your cargo isn't contraband. This can take a significant amount of time. In some cases up to six months. In the mean time, your incarceration is going to freak out alot of people. Your family, your friends, and most of all, your employer. You make your one phone call to your Scheister, who is sitting at his mahogany desk, in his high backed leather chair, rubbing his hands together briskly and thinking "Alright! another cop just afforded me another payment on my (insert any make of high priced luxury car here)". Things like this have the word Scam written all over them. The only freedoms in the good 'ol US of A are the freedoms the lawyers, turned lawmakers have to create new ways to squeeze more fiat money out of the system. They win and we lose. Politicians don't win elections anymore. They are placed in office by big money and the criminals who have it. So, let us continue to debate who is the better candidate while someone other than the sheople decides who will sit in that office. It keeps us distracted from what is really going on. quote: "How fortunate for government that the people do not think for themselves."Adolph Hitler" -

ok guys, keep debating. I don't think it's going to matter who supposedly wins the '04 election. Offered for your perusal only.... I don't really care for your opinions regarding this link It's a good read and I expect you to do your own research to validate or debunk the information presented. I have. -

Looks like bizness as usual at all the major MMOG's. The boys at Sony and EA always start drooling when they pass a telephone pole. Solution? Track them all down and beat them severely about the head and shoulders with a cold dead Flounder. From my observations, The frozen kidneys at CCP seem to be filling their bladders with the same waste products. I think the main problem is the "Power Gamers" They enter these virtual worlds to conquer everything, then they begin the lobbying for something more difficult and the PR guys listen to their drivel. The result is always pandering to these induviduals, even if it means throwing the game balance in the toilet and flushing it. That action always leaves the noobs to tread water, drown, and give up. And they wonder why their subscription base turns into the old revolving door...

That is sad news for sure. God Bless you Jimmy.

Sheesh! Will this movie ever end? Derek, I can see you sitting there in front of your network interface, reading all this speculation with a wry grin and laughing to yourself and saying, "Puny weakminded fools!" ROTFLMAO "where's that Cider jug?"

quote: by Lost in Space: I don't think they do that either. Crap, they don't teach a damn thing there. It's just a glorified day care and not a very good at that either. I beg to differ: School isn't a glorified daycare center, it's a government run indoctrination center/prison. Otherwise it wouldn't be mandated "by law" to send your children there. Sure, they teach some mandated subjects that every child should learn but, it's those underlying hidden subjects that we should all be taking a closer look at. If parents would pull their kids away from the television and teach them what they need to know, things would change. They don't call it the "Boob Tube" for nothing. It's interesting to note: My High School issued a "Code of Conduct " manual every year. I then saw duplicates of this same manual everytime I started a new job. Corporate Socialist Indoctrination? The incessant message:" Conform Conform Conform" is rampant in society today."Do Not be a free thinker, We will think for you." Sounds alot like the Hegellian ethic to me.... Create a problem or a threat Listen to the cries of the sheople Provide the solution Become a filthy rich tyrant

There's another laugher. Tne only thing that I know of that promotes violent behaviour is inattentive parents who don't teach a child "Right from wrong" Again, our illustrious legislators have the high and mighty idea that they know what's best for all of us, and again they stomp on the constitution and our rights. The mere mention of the little miscreants in the Columbine tragedy liking certain games, has nothing to do with their cold hearted actions. Children are products of their upbringing and what they have learned and experienced from those around them. So the parents want to cry foul and point their fingers at someone or something else to relieve them of the guilt of their own failure. Pitiful. I have news for them.. "When you point your finger in blame and accusation, there are 3 fingers pointing back at you."

Check out Alienware's website. They have their own version of PCI express and a MoBo they co-created, along with the synching software and an 800 watt PS to drive this monster. edit: After perusing your link, Jam, it appears that Alienware is planning to use something similar to Nvidia's setup, although the Alienware website boasts a pending patent on the idea. Going forward, the news from the front lines should become quite interesting. [ 07-04-2004, 10:04 AM: Message edited by: Wolferz ]

Remo, here's an eerie thought for ya, judging by your previous Avatar, you look a great deal like my youngest brother. My Pop was a truckdriver and I hope he wasn't sowing wild oats all over the place. C'mon up Papi, The air is getting thin Sure thing Marvin, send the Alpha guys on over.Haven't had a good bar fight in awhile. Oh, wait, according to the fleet database I'm in Alpha wing. LOL Now I'm out with the Wraithers. I'm so confused.

Nope, in light of recent news, there is no need to reinstate the draft, at least not right away. Instead they are conscripting servicemembers who have satisfied their TOS and also recalling servicemembers who have already seperated but, haven't reached the end of their mandatory six year obligation. In essence, troops are being drafted from current stocks of volunteers. That's right little Timmy, Unkie Sam still owns you. And you volunteered, so, Sueing for "Breach of Contract.?" Fergedaboutit.

Thank you echo and Remo, or should I say Muchas Gracias? Anyway, no, I wasn't born in 1756 but I may have lived another life back then, who knows? Many people have voiced their condolences that I wasn't birthed on the 4th which would have connected my birthday to the births and deaths of some of our first leaders, not that i would consider that anything special. But today I am 5 decades in this biomechanical robot. Half a century and I'm really starting to feel it. I have been to many places and experienced many things. I have refused to grow up which is the best ticket through a lifetime I think. Serious people have only served to piss me off because there is nothing on this planet worth being too serious about, except BC of course. Many people think that they should arrive at the funeral home in a pristine body. Not me though, I want to come broadsliding in with a scarred up, totally worn out body, screaming, "WOW What a RIDE!!!!"

July third isn't a very significant day in American history, or is it? This day was more significant to George Washington than the 4th of July could ever be. On July 3rd 1756, Colonel Washington and his Virginia Regiment lost the battle at Fort Necessity on the forks of the Ohio River. For all intensive purposes you could say that this event was not only the beginning of the Seven years war, also known as the French Indian War but, also the "Real" First World war and the Revolutionary War all rolled into one. History is replete with events that are quite obscure, each causing it's own chain reaction. Many many events that caused the movement of Americans later, I was born at 9:58 pm on this date, in a hospital in Detroit Michigan. My parents had survived the depression and World War 3 (aka WWII) and produced me.

Four slots? How so? Hopefully, if they have any brain cells capable of firing neurons, the first board will sit in the AGP slot and the second board in the first PCI slot. Maybe they wil opt for an external box. Is everyone ready to put a second case on their desk?

Viewed Spiderman 2 the other evening and the assessment above was bang on. It was a chick flick for the first 90 minutes, mainly setting up the webslinger's loss of any kind of personal life. So, technically it stayed within the parameters of the early Graphic Novels, which was good but, I felt that too much time was spent dwelling on that one issue. Peter Parker never got any respect and all of us who have been a fan of Stan Lee know it all too well. I guess this overstatement of the obvious was more for the benefit of the younger members of the audience. Not a problem. The actor cast in the role of Doc Oc was perfect. They couldn't have matched it any better IMHO. I give it a 10/10 just for the Elevated train scenes. I came close to blurting out loudly"ONLY IN NEW YORK!" when the passengers gingerly passed Spidey over their heads. The only things that ruin any public viewing of good movies for me is, Jackasses who come to the theater drenched in heavy cologne and the even bigger jackasses who show up with a very small child or infant. *sigh* My movie going days are over. From here on out I'll just wait for the DVD release and enjoy the show at home on our 31" TV.

Joe and Harry were on the 18th tee and Harry was looking forward to a nice cool beer in the clubhouse. Since Joe had won honors on the tee, he was up first. After teeing up his ball, he looked down the fairway and stepped up to address the ball. Joe situated his feet, looked down the fairway and proceeded to wiggle his driver and replant his stance for several minutes. Continuously looking up to glance down the fairway. Harry was thirsty and finally said,"What's the problem, Joe?!!" Joe replied,"Look down there, that's my wife standing on the clubhouse balcony and I want to hit a perfect shot." Harry replied, "Forget it Joe, you can't hit her from here!"

I heard that the young man was found hanging from a lamp post near the police station, with a note reading:"Courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Spiderman 2 Projectionest"

From what I could find out about this moreoff, he is just another racist 'bama redneck who steals the sheets off of the beds of his children so he can go to Knucklehead Knucklehead Knucklehead rallies and anonomously spout racist hatred at fellow sheet wearing moreoffs. Let's put them in a Porky's movie and introduce them to some real Americans...The Seminole A quick call and a heads up to the Justice Department might adjust his attitude. During my time in the military I had to witness the ugly side of racism from both sides of the fence. It didn't take long to put them all in their place and adjust their attitude to the TEAM concept; "There is no "I" in the word TEAM. and I have a weapon here that is more powerful than any weapon the Army will ever issue to you, It's called an M-60 Ballpoint pen.
