  1. this is wrong, it's like claiming ownership of the internet by default. Despite that, the wildcard.com stuff doesn't work with me. Must have something to do with my location/ISP oh, and lookie what i found! That's like hanging adresses to people, hey, he forgot to renew and it was expired 10 seconds ago, it's yours! Like stealing the seat on the couch of someone while he goes to pee. Probably how it happened with www.orionfleet.com and www.theunderdogs.org ...
  2. you can zoom out, pan, turn around, select them, use middle mouse to center and mouse wheel to change zoom level
  3. quote: she is a full force 5 and looks like she has no intention of weakening at all.Actually i think they said it would lower to F3 as it reaches lands
  4. yes, it's the gold CD they send to the manufacturer so they can start making official CDs for sale.
  5. ...is a rather cheap memorex CD just funny
  6. yeah but i know of no retailer around here that sells Turtle beach sound card. All the store i have access to their pricelists only list creative stuff
  7. Tired of using onboard audio, i want to buy a decent sound card. As a gamer, will a Creative Audigy X-Gamer be good enough or the Audigy2 is worth the extra $$ for it?
  8. i have a 5 year old CD-R and i can still use it fine ..

No blackouts either? we had one in january 1998 (ice storm), some were out of power for a few months but at home it was only 2 short days.

  11. quote:Originally posted by Forever Light: Ya SC. By the time BCO is ready to be released you will have more computing power than you will know what to do with hehe. Never! you will ALWAYS need more power. modern game developpers have plenty of things they "could" put in to make the game look better but they can't due to cpu restrictions. It includes the polycount of models and the texture level of detail .. very important factors. Those are great limitations on how good games can look like.
  12. 10 bombers squads and you killed 15 flak frigates? i don't get it, nothing is better than flak frigates to take out fighters..
  13. quote:Originally posted by Parias: quote:Originally posted by Forever Light: Ill have to play with that a bit and see if they do display a preference on ships they would find it easier to kill. Yes, they do, it's practically the entire concept behind part of the design improvements. Fighters will automatically go for any target in order most appropriately suited for their capabilities - Interceptors will focus on anything generally small and anti-fighter before going on to other targets, Bombers will go right for Capital ships, etc, etc. Ahh interesting to know, i wasn't sure about that, it's not too easy to manage fleets when you have about 30 units/squadrons going in combat with an equally large opponent.
  14. played 2 mp games with some friends from planetside, and OMG it's cool. First game i was second best (4 players) and second game i was losing but I crashed on a good homeline it gets laggy even with 4 players. Then again considering all 4 have about 50 units each .. maps in the demo are pretty small, doesn't take long to fly and meet the enemy, or even see it. kinda fun (or not, depending on your side) to hyperjump carriers and frigates to the enemy mothership and kick some ass
  15. ya fighting on empty continents is not always fun ...but there's always action SOMEWHERE, and lots of it (unless you play the graveyard shift, which is usually morning)
  16. quote:Originally posted by Marvin: quote:Originally posted by dreadx: Wow. grabbing a asteroid with your tactorbeam and accelerate it towards a planet. Then release it and watch the dustcloud grow. Would be cool!f=ma .... Who would be grabbing who? Depends on the technology. the tractor beam may not be just like an energy wire, it may apply a directional gravitic force on the target, or you wouldn't be able to use a shuttle to tow a stormcarrier (then again in BC, ships are unnafected by gravity even if they are in low orbit ... 80km altitude?) In Star Trek i believe they use the principle of energy wire though, as i remember in voyager's episode where the delta flyer was unable to tractor the mars mission ship wreck out of the anomaly it was stuck in ...
  17. Greed and the search for power will always divide people. Always.
  18. Now THAT's definitely cool
  19. i keep reading articles about retiring baby boomers in my local newspaper .. they say by 2015 there will be more jobs, any kind of job, than workers to fill them, so much that instead of having people doing to the beautiful eyes to the companies, it will be the other way around ...
  20. not denying what you said in your last post jag (my story of the united states is limited to the colonies (back when the Nouvelle France extended down to Louisiana) and the commercial relationships with Canada), but it sounds like conservatists and democrats (~liberals) swapped roles ... aren't conservatists people trying to keep things as is, by definition? Just strange.
  21. lol and chekc the other stuff .. http://totallyabsurd.com/allterrainstroller.htm http://totallyabsurd.com/bulletproofbuttocks.htm http://totallyabsurd.com/hijackerinjector.htm http://www.golfsgoofiestgadgets.com/jetpro...iongolfclub.htm many other good ones for laugh
  22. hahaha I read a review about the movie, they say it sucks. They say you would laugh where you would be supposed to cower in fear. And the movie is pointless .. a battle of the evil vs .. the evil? .. a simple google search .. and here you have .. http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/Movies/08/...reddy.jason.ap/ quote:In battle between "Freddy vs. Jason," there's most definitely one loser: the audience.
  23. I like the part where the spacesuit guy drifts in space .. scary
  24. quote:First off, when one side has power it wants to keep it. The other side wants to regain it. Different motives. Different objectives. Different tactics. I minor point, I admit, but one worth making.Point taken, but you know what i meant.
