  1. Never heard of that store before, but it sucks still.
  2. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: Not being an alarmist, I'm just shocked that someone actually drafted this with an attempt to actually see if it can be shoehorned into the bill. Now thats the frightening thing to me, not the end result itself - which I don't expect to pass. Then again, these are different times and nothing surprises me anymore. My thought exactly. Whether is passes or not, it's the sheer thought that someone WANTED that to happen. It isn't a joke, someone, somewhere, WANT that to happen. and that someone has a decent measure of power. Hopefully not enough.
  3. I Am A: Lawful Neutral GnomeThief Bard Alignment: Lawful Neutral characters believe in the triumph of law and order above all else. It does not matter whether the leader is for good or evil; the leader will be followed, because the order they provide is the most important thing. Race: Gnomes are also short, like dwarves, but much skinnier. They have no beards, and are very inclined towards technology, although they have been known to dabble in magic, too. They tend to be fun-loving and fond of jokes and humor. Some gnomes live underground, and some live in cities and villages. They are very tolerant of other races, and are generally well-liked, though occasionally considered frivolous. Primary Class: Thieves are the most roguish of the classes. They are sneaky and nimble-fingered, and have skills with traps and locks. While not all use these skills for burglary, that is a common occupation of this class. Secondary Class: Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit. Deity: Callarduran Smoothhands is the True Neutral gnomish god of stone, the underground, and mining. He is also known as the Deep Brother and the Master of Stone. His followers enjoy mining - especially for rubies. Their favorite weapon is the battleaxe. Find out What D&D Character Are You?, courtesy ofNeppyMan (e-mail)
  4. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: French military prowess That's why I'm happy NOT to be a french, but french-canadian. We might not actually won a war (we mostly did supportive roles, we DID invade a beach in ww2 and canadian pilots flew among the british air force), but we didn't lose one either (unless you consider the pre-canada invasion of the british on the french colonies of america part of canadian history (which BTW we lost BECAUSE France thought we weren't important and didn't bothered to send any reinforcements ... chicken shit army didn't wanted to fight the mightly imperial navy))
  5. Very nice indeed, but the subs don't look very much submerged ...
  6. quote:Originally posted by Commander Jamont: btw will the shields react all over the ship or just where you hit it? quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: It glows brighter at the point of the hit.
  7. For those who want to hurry you can hold esc down to pass the boxes extremely quickly (make sure your repeat reate is fast). I can come to the end in about 2 mins.
  8. Have a beer ... WARNING : EXTREME BOREDOM REQUIRED, INDIVIDUAL WHO FEEL THEY COULD BE PRONE TO FRUSTRATION SHOULD AVOID THAT WEBSITE. and you can cheat.
  9. quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: Welcome aboard kid. Beware the dreaded political debate post. They stink worse than a Kligon farting in an airlock. ROFL
  10. quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: Thats enough for me. I liked it better when we weren't at each others throats and I liked that the SC would actually Write a post instead of posting a link now and then. Cant we all just get along? *bursts in laugh* bwahahahaa ...
  11. quote:Since when did we have non-military ships? Are we talking about the same game? [/QB]I don't view transports as very militarised vessels... especially considering we have harmless castes.
  12. the second file in the archive is corrupt.
  13. OMG that's cool! BTW do you have a 1280x1024 version of this one? Because a stretched picture never looks as great as the original (for my desktop, which has been this one for a few days now .. )
  14. Problem with africa is that a large part of the continent is plunged into civil war and repression, and if 1 country somehow gets better conditions than its neighbours, it gets flooded by a sea of "refugees" ... not easy.
  15. quote:How often do we hear of General Motors closing down a plant and laying off thousands of workers, Gah, this happened here recently, they closed the camaro/firebird plant, and although the gov. and the employees tried over and over to propose a solution (up to the govt. financing plant conversion costs), they even tried to propose a new car model, nothing. years of struggle and the plant is closed, thousands of jobs lost.
  16. Something that fits the mood ...
  17. quote:we seem to be losing more and more lives now first 9/11 then the war on terrorist then the talks of war with Irag and now this.[nitpick] Technically the amount of people that die at the hand of criminals and in accidents (cars and schtuff) outweight anything else but large wars) .. however, those 7 people we're extremely lucky to be able to be what they are, as only few can even think about it, yet luck turned its back on them
  18. it was just a concept test. it's extremely limited, and not made to be used with anything else.
  19. quote:, and authorities had feared it would be a terrorist target. Man what a bunch of crap. Unless someone infiltrated Nasa and sabotaged the shuttle, there's no way they can damage a shuttle going at mach 10+ Shuttles were old, damn they really need to upgrade their stuff, 22 years old is old for anything, a plane, a train, a car, even boats and cruise liners. You don't keep sensistive technology operational for so long ... My sympaties to everyone involved
  20. *goes back to Neocron* hmmmm ....
  21. hmmmm .. comanche ..
  22. send the officer to the medbay (except the medical officer) then play with the rest of the crew.
  23. For voice comms I hear Teamspeak is the best thing. Hardly adds lag even on a 56k line I'm told.
  24. Looks very nice, I'll try the demo later ..
  25. quote:Originally posted by Fermin: quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: Even most of the advanced features e.g. lobby<->in-game chat are some of the high-end features being implemented. So we would be able to chat through some sort of instant messenger interface while playing the game? Would this interface have the ability to add buddies like MSN IM? Eh, that would be TOO cool, but I doubt it. Maybe Derek can see if he can do something with cerulean studios (makers of Trillian, universal messenger)
