The starbases all have [sBASE] in their names. So, if you are in Tacops and observing the planet and wish to locate the starbase on Earth, if you come across any with this type of name, thats a starbase. Besides, I'm not sure where in the appendix you were looking, but since the starstations and starbases are launch bases, you should be looking in the Launch Bases tab. And if you scroll down the page to the starbases section, it will tell you where all the starbases are. It even gives you the name of the mzone and scene they are located in on the planet. Unlike military bases, naval bases and cities, only starbases have a primary starbase object to which you can dock to or launch from.

No, it does not get overwritten but the quick save file for the last session will still exist. You have to quit the game entirely, then go to the SAVE folder and delete the *current* save game profile files. Then restart the game and restore the saved game you want to use. So, if you were using profile 0 (the first slot in the restore game screen) and you die in the QS session, assuming you have a saved game, you would delete the PLAYER0.SGD file. When you restore the game - assuming you actually have a full save version - it will be restored from the PLAYER0.SG0 file. The saved game files are described here. And there is no longer an autosave in the game; so I have no idea why this subject is about autosave. If you are saving the game without doing a full save, thats the Quick Save function activated using CTRL+Q (read the VCF). Due to the complexity of the game, you'd be better off being clear in your threads, posts and their interpretations.

In case some of you hadn't seen this news about the space expansion, here it is. Anyway, shortly after I made this post over on GG, yesterday, quite by surprise, we got a phone call from a delivery guy asking if we had moved. I said yeah and gave him the new address. He had stated that he had a delivery of cookies(!) from the Star Wars guys. When he left, I read the card and it was from the Star Wars Galaxies Space Expansion Team with a rather cryptic message. It read, quote: Keep Smiling, Fondly The Star Wars Galaxies Space Expansion Team OK, I have no clue what this all means, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I call over there.

OK, you'd think that NASA had better things to worry about than this?

...did you see the UNSUPPORTED part in the VCF? No? OK, go read it again. It is 100% unsupported. So, use it at your own risk as there is no support for it. None whatsoever. And there is a way around what you are describing, but I don't know what thread its in.

What exactly is your point? And why did it require two posts to make? It is a known fact that those MX cards do not have a shader part. And had you actually READ the damn thread, you would have seen what nVidia with driver based shader support for those boards. Yeah, I licensed natFX for use in UCE2E but then I figured that I'd use them in UC as well.

Are FEs assigned to them? Are pilots assigned to them? Have you read the Tactical Computer section of the manual which deals with the ready stats of fighters? There are dozen or more reasons for this, but I'm not going to list them. Go read the manual.

OK, here are 29 shots taken from one of the new scenarios (IA0119) in the upcoming patch. This scenario is pretty intense because its dark, its stormy, there are marines everywhere. Not to mention two bunkers in the cities and a bunch of patrolling APCs just spitting out hostiles. Its pretty intense to say the least. Will take some daylight shots tomorrow when I have time.
