quote: Originally posted by Delta1: Nobody has sent me anything. I bought this game about two years ago before going overseas (bcm). I stowed everything except the disk and the manual to lighten the load, and at the time, I was not worried about registration. I am not worried about it though. Like I said, UC will being coming out soon. BTW, where on this website do you offer to register? I'm not questioning your ownership; point is, if you were registered, it means that you have a valid serial key; which means you have a legit copy; which means that a PDF of the keyboard template could automagically appear in your email inbox if you send your serial number or link to your registration profile to [email protected]

aaaaargggggggggggggggg!!! I missed it!!!!! OK, so which one of you, no-life-having friends of mine, taped it?!?!?
-
heh, no need to delete it as I'm sure there's a very good chance that nobody is going to send him anything. Besides, have you even registered your copy of the game? If so, add your system profile to your sig and I will check your stats.

Send your details and serial number to [email protected] and explain the problem. I'll have it investigated.

Will there be a gold announcement?

Anyway, my Gold cut-off date is 11/10 because the game has to go to production on 11/13 for a street date about a week or more after. We had an assessment meeting today to go over the pending issues, bugs etc and to see if in fact we're going to make it. Lets put it this way, I haven't slept for more than four hours a day in the past three weeks or so and between now and 11/10, I'm not bloody likely to sleep at all. Screw Hoffa, he can keep his damn spare cubicle. -
I knew those fockers were gonna ruin it. Goddamn bastards.

I took in the "Commander career can't do it" literally, even though I'm new I can tell Derek is a very literal person when he says something. When he said "because he has his own forces." I figure where Derek is going with this is that the commander shouldn't have to go into a shuttle and drop off a set of marines because he has AI to do it for him, strings to pull so to speak. That is where my concern comes in, that even though he's got strings to pull it's still nice to have a change in pace from the bridge and go on an away team. Thats not what I said. Reread what Eclipse said carefully and slowly.

For example, the Terrans destroy all of the Gammulan assets, stations, bases. The Gammulans are no more. Maybe this feature was cut, I don?t know?. Perhaps we?ll see it in a patch? You are more than welcome to try.

After playing some BCM...a few concerns for UC....

quote: Originally posted by Arsonide: Space marine sounded awesome to me, the thing was, as a space marine you are TINY, and are very likely to see any action, the worse part is you have no ship. I mean, wouldn't a MARINE be on a battlecruiser and assigned missions as they came up? Sent in a shuttle to the mission if he was a regular marine or dropped off if he was a space marine. I mean, being a marine is cool and all but there's no way to get around! I don't know how to explain it better than that, how are you supposed to find action when your service doesn't provide you with the means to get to it. Thats not what the space force marine career was designed to do. And in UC, the marines have access to shuttles. SFMs are primarily used in defense of space stations. Nothing else. If you sit around long enough, eventually a hostile capital ship will deploy a bunch of SFMs. -
EA's ROTK - Multiplayer with no Network Support?
Supreme Cmdr replied to Scrivener's topic in PC Gaming & Technology
Looks like its a straight port of the console version, in which co-op on the same box is the predominant strategy. They'll probably change it at some point. Or maybe not. -
quote: Originally posted by Spindoktor: I believe your entry point is random. Wrong. If there is no waypoint, the craft will enter the planet at the center of the first map it loads. Its never random. This was changed in BC3K (as Chavik pointed out) where previously, regardless of the location of waypoint #1, the craft would enter the planet at the default center position then navigate to waypoint #1

quote: Originally posted by goduranus: well, i'm new here. i am just wondering about the above said ability, since i've always wanted to play in a naval destroyer. i don't know if the hard fought experiences if planet bound people like me will just end up in flames just by 1 lucky OTS or RANDOM. will there be any ways do dodge OTS for surface player like the EMD of starships? Those weapons are disabled in multiplayer

Allied Multiplayer Campaign Mode?
Supreme Cmdr replied to ebonaven's topic in General Multiplayer Discussions
quote: Originally posted by Aphid: Yes. I mean playing a campaign or free flight with other players connected via lan or internet. There are no campaign focused mp scripts atm. Maybe I'll do one later is the sales warrants the time spent on it. Or someone else can do it using GBS-III -
Goddamn time wasting mofos

Allied Multiplayer Campaign Mode?
Supreme Cmdr replied to ebonaven's topic in General Multiplayer Discussions
quote: Originally posted by Aphid: Does the UC game have an allied multiplayer campaign mode? What exactly do you mean? -
quote: Originally posted by Delta1: Thanks for replying Derek, but not to be a jerk, but what good does it do to play the game as a space marine on a space station that outruns you? Am I supposed to wait until it catches me from the other side? Try not being an idiot while you're at it. If you are standing ON the damn station, you will move along with it. And where does it say that just because you are a space marine, there needs to be special handling so that you can keep up with the station?

3.8 drivers are crap. Stick with 3.7, even 3.6 if at all possible.
