hehe, yeah, I remember that phone call echo. Good times. Hey Mike, I got your PM, but I've been bummed out over a sprained knee these past few days and have been logging on from bed on my laptop. I will reply later this weekend though. Right now I'm trying to pry myself out of bed so I can make it to church. Anyway, I appreciate the kind words and all that good stuff. Though I haven't been frequent on the boards as I used it, it is all due to some life and family changes, coupled with the move to a new house, dealing with multiple developments (esp the transition to XB360) and whatnot. So, needless to say, I have my hands full.

Look where we are now. Not only is +R more prevalent, nobody noticed who won or lost since most recorders support both formats. heh. Corporate dumb asses.

heh, that's been on there for quite a while now. If you look at the edit history, you'll see that there's been a virtual tug-of-war in edits. The detractors go there, post a bunch of crap. Then someone comes along and removes it. Rinse. Repeat.

Wot?!?! We can flame as best as ANYONE out there?!!! *sheesh* we must be losing our touch around here! Seriously though, we've kept this community this way since day one and its the mods, admins and folks like you HELP keep it this way. Sadly our mp is not simplistic (nor intuitive) enough to make it as popular (even amongst ourselves) as it should be. But hey, my games were never designed with mp in mind and we kinda just shoehorned that in. And surprisingly it works great (as long as you're not in fp mode on a planet that is). Hopefully the MMO version will fare better and since it is a pay-for-play model, we have to strive to make it tons better than what we have atm.

heh, well the docking ability has always been there for NPC units which are left around during an engagement. Which is why the order exists for those who want to use it to remove NPCs from the gameworld and thus improve their game's processing. But once they dock, you can no longer interact with them because they no longer exist in the 3D game world. They exist only in data form, hence the reason you can see them in Tactical and Perscan. Next time, don't do it for your marines because they too are NPC units.

Definitely not for the feint at heart. Seriously.
