SmileyMan, Please try the news patches first before sending any saved games, or even reporting CTDs or other bugs. If the problem still occurs, try to reproduce it. Two times from a new game (no old saves). If it still occurs, you may even want to reinstall from scratch. Be sure that your patch files are not corrupt, i.e. bad downloads. Then, and only then, report back in. Best regards.

This (more than 8 pilots) is some kind of wish list item that has been denied. It's not in the specs, there are no graphics (portraits) for additional pilots, no voices, and so on. 8 pilots for up to 8 fighters. That is twice the number of fighters you get when you choose a BC MK3. Best regards.

Hmm, this whole "online manual" discussion looks kind of senseless to me: if you want to prepare for BCM, download the free BC3K v2.09. It even contains a *gasp* online manual. Play it until you know it inside out. Then play it some more. After that, play it somewhat more. Then try the BCM demo(s). Play them, until you know them inside out. Then play it some more... And guess what: if you happen to find a warez copy of BCM after that (which would be unpatchable, and would not allow any MP), and you are still not willing to actually pay for the game, just play it. You do not need any more manual by then. You wouldn't even deserve to play the game, btw. Oh, and by that time, we will all be happily playing BCM multiplayer... Best regards.

antaren42, As you can read here, you should provide a link to your system specs in your signature, after you have registered. Usually, the Troubleshooting FAQ handles all the cases which may cause problems. Check the chapter: "How do I improve stability?" Unless you provide your system specs (and register before), don't expect much help, anyway. Best regards.

Remo, No need for daily (or weekly) roll calls IMO. It should be enough to check active commanders once a month, or even every other month. I tell new recruits to register in the Forum (i.e. here). If they fail to do that within, say, a month or two, they will be purged from the Fleet DB. Later, once MP will be active, I will stop assigning assets for them, until they report in. This way they will not be able to play MP until they reported in. That should be enough, shouldn't it? Best regards.

Any system with the intention to grow forever using up the limited resources available is doomed to fail one day, i.e. when those resources are used up. That's the reason why this sort of capitalism will not work forever (or, say, some more 1000 years). All in all, this discussion is very nice, interesting, and all in all useless. No panic! The rules have been diskussed here, and demolition got the quote (see posting from 09-05-2000 03:42) right.
