36 +/- hours without power. Minimal compared to some others. No lines actually down that I saw but I did see two rather large pine trees uprooted and laying on the lines. Alabama Power is pretty good. Total outages in the state topped 900,000 and had fallen by almost half the next two days. It was tropical storm strength by the time it got here though we did get a few hurricane strength gusts.

Complete the address and it might work. Right now it's only a double http://. If it were a complete address with only an extra http:// it could be done. Unless you linked to a redirect and it won't come up. They are doing some creepy things these days.

No I did ok. I think the only thing that happened was my garbage can tipped over. If you remember my "I been busy" link from last months roll call you will recall that the picture of the gate showed a blue house uphilll from me. It's like that behind me as well. Three dollars wasted on a bag of ice. Boo. Hard to mow a lake. I'd say it would be unmowable till a week after it dries up if not longer. Sounds like a swamp in the making. Don't get stuck in it. 7 or 8/10 It didn't have near as much neato whizzbang figure out who's after him this time. He went straight to the source. Mostly. The jumpy cameras in the car chase almost made me nauseous. I hope they tie it up nice and neat and he figures out what happened to him and of course kills the ultimate bad guy. If there is one. I haven't read the books.

Yup my power has been out since noon 16th. However a convenience store a mile from me has power so I can get ice to keep my drinks cold and my parents have power so I can post every so often. Today, out of utter boredom, I put together a filing cabinet I've had for months. Nice wooden one from Big Lots with a side wing. Pretty nifty. Then to drown out the neighbors generator I mowed the lawn. A casio 1.1" LCD television lasts 4 hours on fresh batteries.

Ya'll had the feeder bands that spawn tornadoes. Hope ya didn't have too many. I'm in a rather sheltered area. I sit in between two ridges so I personally didn't get much. Some of the gusts would come down but the steady winds would blow the neighbors trees while mine stood still. My power is out though. Some of the trees that didn't survive knocked out power in my subdivision. My parents came through and I'm at their house posting. Time to watch Survivor. How approriate.

WOW! I finally saw it and was blown away. I liked it a lot. Plus, with it being wednesday night (church night) and with hurricane Ivan right next door I was the ONLY one in the theatre.

That is the entire point. Those that actually know what they are doing can get around the restriction legally. Those that didn't probably were hampered by the restriction.

Dumb question. What's the difference between concealed and not concealed? I can walk down the street holding one in my hand hanging by my side (and scaring everyone to death I imagine) but can't tuck it in my pants?

I read your post and jumped on server 4. Stayed several hours. The last hour or so The Cevil's Hand member joined. It was fun.

Mandatory tips are supposed to be already figured in when you get your bill. Then if they have a mandatory tip I don't leave anything else extra.
