Sneak preview tonight at selected theatres. Showing in 30 mins at a theatre near (3 miles) me. I think I will wait a week. Long enough for crowds to die down but not to long till the film gets all scratched up.

Interesting in an odd sort of way. The first five minutes are boring as all get out. Just thousands of shots of people on the phone. About 20 secs into it you want to yell at the screen "Okay, okey, we get it, it's about a phone!" but when it gets to the main character it's just slightly more interesting. Just showing him using his phone though. It doesn't pick up until he gets into the (surprise) phone booth. Then it starts getting interesting in that odd compelling gotta see the train wreck way. The lighting and textures were odd. And they used that two/three/four way picture like they do on TV when people on the phone. They used that a fair amount but not over much. The bad guy on the phone was louder than the characters. I guess that simulated what it would sound like if you were the one on the phone. Directorial license I suppose. Lot's of curse words. Lots of the "f" word. No gore. Only two gunshot wounds with minimal blood. 7/10

It's good Sho. I got an impromptu invitation Sat night for Sun and when I woke up I said to myself "Self, why don't we go see that?" I was not dissappointed. Well I was but only because it could have been longer and I wouldn't have minded.

The second one is where some people in the beta give first impressions of BCM during a temoprary lift of the NDA. But look for the words PMS squad. Keep in mind these were posted before we had ANY female commanders so we were a bit more brusque back then. A long time ago it was noticed certain combos of pilots worked better than the defaults. Dunno anymore but it was fun at the time. One combo was two women pilots. The other combo was putting the lower dogfighting ability pilot as the primary pilot of the fc and the higher DF pilot as the co pilot. Any vets remember this?

It also happens if the CD drive predates XP and there is no support. I checked the XP compatibility page. So the quick fix works for me.

Thanks. Got it. You can delete them now. I have been meaning to get back down here. I like the newest version much better.

Hang on. Before you go returning it try taking it out and closing the cd door. Then open it again and put BCMG back in and close the door. See if that works. XP does that to me as well. I can remove BCMG and put Railroad Tycoon in and it still thinks it has BCMG. Restarting the comp works too. Dunno why this happens but I have experienced it as well.

try Did anyone catch the lyrics? thread. Using the search all open forums selection in a search brings up 166 hits for "music". Something like 12 if you restrict it to title only. Takes a while for that though. Run a search on Vanethian as well. There is a main theme he has done you might be able to find. Then again it may not be on a server any longer.

Heh, well what Darkling said would probably work too. Docking and launching again worked for me. But if you are posting you are obviously not playing so go back and make sure launch control in on and it should work.

Read the BCM Version Control File under the latest entry v1.09.01 - 04.27.03. A workaround for now is to dock at a starstation, launch again, make SURE launch control is ON and try again.

Welcome DCZX. Mine, Trade, Upgrade, Go Mercenary, Assassin, or Raider hunting. (Oops Sorry VLAD) Explore Flux Fields. (ummm save first ) Vlad, Next to last forum is Misc Caste. You could post down there and see if you can scare up anyone else. A couple of independents are still active.

Do we have one? There is an ancient EZBoard forum where we discussed tactics. I would love to play the game with as many fellow Insurgents as we could muster against what any other fleet could muster. What if we are short of members? What about the old rule you had to belong to a fleet to play on an official server? Lots of new and seemingly good people joining the forum but not much fleet activity. The Fleet Database is almost ready to go online so that should be ok but what is our plan? Any thoughts welcome.
