I love that game. The AI is really actually quite good and they are improving it all the time. The game really can get good as if you are not strategic about your colonization you can get overwhelmed and not just militarily. It's great.

I remember Outpost 2 very well. That games was extremely enjoyable and in my opinion was one of the best games of it's time. I'm actually quite shocked that someone still plays it...I tried but on my system it moved so quickly it was unplayable...

Well, even though you could and should have searched for the information. You can turn off power to LAUNCH CONTROL in logistics. This will prevent shuttle launches.
