  1. http://www.blackout.com/crankmonth.htm I think i posted this here before, but I couldn't find it in a search. The beginning is funny, but the rest is crap...
  2. A few games I found addictive; meaning, you want it to last forever, so you don't want to play, but at the same time you need to , just to find out what happens next. some not all include: half life starflight 1&2 wing commander series subspace resident evil 2 I have a problem though, and I Know i've mentioned this before. I want to play still... but I can't find a game I would play. I mean I had half life 2... and I finally finished it after like 4 or 5 months... nothing seems addictive or interesting enough to make it addictive to me anymore... my favourite genre's are space, fps and strategy... Forget any RTS, I'll never play them again, I tried playing act of war... just doesn't hold me. I guess the only game I might play now is a star trek or star wars. But I've seen players playing jedi academy for years.. I can't do that, I played it through once, tried playing it again and it didn't work out. UCO is a game that would hold me. but some promising games I am looking out for are just so far down the road. also looking out for X3: Reunion
  3. isn't it sad when anyone dies?
  4. maybe he was filming him self with a digital camera, then went through it and did some captures. or a friend. ok does anyone think that any of those user comments is posted by people over the age of 17? That would be even more worrisome... as a parent fine, my kid will use the internet, but I'll be sure to look at everywhere he has been on the net. And ask him what his name is
  5. is that the intelligent generation up and coming that we have to look forward too? Meaning the user comments posted after the article, I mean... there needs to be a new law, like, children under 16 not allowed on the internet... and another law, make them watch CNN, read educational books... boy my kid is gonna wish he stayed in heaven (4 months till he arrives)
  6. well that bites, at least my hopes weren't up there.
  7. I just couldn't resist, it's four posts up ban shields on mr. scott? nothing can protect us from the doomsday machine captain!
  8. yeah some are hilarious... but in seriousness, its great stuff. The terrorists are right to hide. with this kind of army they could never survive in the open. I wonder if they will ever realise how truly cowardly there methods are... maybe in the next life. when God says to a suicide bomber... fool...be gone!
  9. well I wonder how long this took for them to do. I noticed barney was doing the same fist movements at one point as tom cruise.
  10. why did it cost 150 million to make Batman Begins?
  11. haha... I never read FF4 comics, did you scriv? anyway I'd go with Zane's review if I was a fan who read the comics when I was younger or something. Adults still read comics? (not in our culture) I think Zane you have to remember that if you are saying Reid had a leadership ability from the comics that since this is the first movie and shows their origins that he will likely later develop it and like you said, coming down near the end of the movie (final fight scene) he showed them.
  12. any sooner and it'll be as good as ff4 hahaha btw what about Batman cost 150 million to make??
  13. can we trust anyone who liked the hulk?
  14. because it could have been done much better, is not a sole reason to detract points. That can be said for everything.
  15. that was my question, and also the same answer to myself. haha quite funny lost
  16. yes go see batman, and may its take numbers double.
  17. well, I know for sure when you see it, you won't say it was BAD, like what you are expecting bad to be. Issues yes, bad no.
  18. actually while looking listening to Johnny Storm's character throughout the movie, i was wondering to myself is there still people that stupid and immature in the world? He played his character well if he was meant to come off stupid/immature as******. I don't care how "smart" you are Because if I was the thing, I would have thumped him LONG ago.
  19. er darkling, my point is why work in a sweat shop or this shop at all!
  20. what did you mean by what you said Derek? in terms of me picking using python to learn programming.
  21. Just checking see if anyone else in the community is robust with the Python language. I just bought a beginner book and am at page 237. As I am new to programming, it seems to me as though Python is fairly easy to pick up for a newbie to the realm of programming. And the book I have is excellent written by Michael Dawson, "Python Programming for the Absolute Beginner", which uses small games to teach you the programming concepts. This way too its rather fun! Each chapter has a set of 4 challenges at the end which challenge you to create a program or small game using the concepts you learned in the chapter, so you can get a grasp in practicals with what you learned in the chapter. The only downfall I see to being self taught rather than doing a degree in computer science is not constantly having assignments to do which utilize some aspect of everything I have learned. So the early chapters fade in comparis to learning OOP, and classes/functions etc... While I think I am moving at a good pace and all... I won't quit my day job just yet. Just a hobby for me for now! so any other Python users out there!
  22. am this is just awful...are they that desparate? uneducated ? WHAT?
  23. And just to let you know. It's doesn't fall into the category of bad comic book movie. Revealing what I mean will reveal spoilers. You'll see what I mean. Suffice to say there is something you can take away from the movie. Though the something is not as deep as what was put forth in Batman. NOR was it explored as much. It's rather short too, this movie could have benefited from being 2:30 hours long. or 2:20 minutes. Because at 1:45 minutes and you wind down from 1 hour 35 minutes... taking into account the introduction etc... So in effect, not enough time was there to develop some of the good points of the movie. Such as their coping with the new powers, which is briefly explored.
  24. what's the website for elite4
  25. finally I get to do a night at the movies! Did I get the topic header right? My rating (like any1 cares) is 7/10 It was ok. To me while this and batman are different films it still isn't so fun to watch as Batman. Since I am not a major movie critic, I can't point out the complicated stuff. I can say, it was never cheesy or childish and it didn't have overly bad screenplay. That being said the fantastic four don't do much, and it's just rather simple. It's a special fx extravaganza. And there's quite few scenes where they go the all out. The bridge scene, ending scene. So I guess you have to like it for what it is!
