  2. quote: BTW, beware of the Chicken Fleet! Yes yes, do beware. They are ever so tasty when fried with 11 herbs and spices. Could very well cause one to suffer some Dunlap Disease.
  3. quote: Originally posted by Jaguar: It helps to be friends with the supply sergeant!! LOL Don't I know it! Our Supply Sgt recognized my talents very early on. He was always volunteering me to help him and I got anything I wanted when I wanted it. All of my field gear was brand new. He even went so far as to acquire unescorted access to the Arms Room for me. We were the only unit on Ft Knox with it's own Arms Room and there were only two people in the unit who had unescorted access. Him and me. Neither the CO nor the Armorer could go in there without one of us present. Whenever the unit needed to draw munitions, he always drafted me. Always a hairy assignment. If you have ever been in the ammo dump on Ft Knox, you know of what I speak. The guards in there carried riot guns loaded with Deer slugs, with orders to shoot first and ask questions later if anyone was found somewhere they didn't have authorization to be. The first time I pulled ammo duty, I was only a Speedy-4. An E-6 jumped up in the back of the Deuce & a half to start unloading the C-4. I promptly ordered him to get the hell off my truck. Naturally he thought he could pull rank on me until my E-7 Supply Sgt walked up and asked me why this guy was in the truck with me. After explanations were finished, he chewed the guy a new 4th point of contact and told him nothing gets unloaded until it was signed for, and get the hell off the truck! To say the least, I was a bit smug after that. LOL When I took the NBC slot, my NBC gear was always 100% combat ready. At least until Desert Storm. We depleted some of our contingency supplies helping other units prep for deployment. Not too long after that, the entire Brigade was de-commissioned.
  4. Jaguar, I take it you spent some time at Fort Knuts?
  5. MOS: 62Everything For those not in the know, this one is a Heavy Junk Driver, along with all that 12 Bravo Combat Engineer Crap. Hence the 62 Everything. I also pulled a stint as the unit NBC NCO. RP "Are you givin' me a hard time, Private Smucky?" Guess whose protective mask is going to be sans filters." /RP [ 10-24-2002, 06:26 PM: Message edited by: Wolferz ]

  8. Carl, If you go with Bell, you will very quickly discover that AOL and PPPoE do not play well together. Go with Bell and make double sure they are going to give you an external modem. The internal ones are tempermental. Heavy emphasis on the mental.
  9. I was wondering what kind of drugs, and did you bring enough for everyone?
  10. Fear of airlocks, perhaps?
  11. Uh Oh! Ep has discovered exponential numbers.
  12. Hap Birfday to you. I drank a few for ya.
  13. I just figure we'll end up where we end up. It's a make your own luck kinda world.
  14. Well Commander Raven, now that you have Commander Lotharr in the airlock, just push that Open Outer Door button. I'll venture a different slant on the entire issue with one word.... Pre-destination.
  15. And here I wasted my time cleaning the airlock and running a diagnostic on the control circuitry. Sheesh. *Shuffles off to the galley*
  16. Sincerest condolences.

Your RE must be a pretty smart cookie. Since the AI of your crew is always random when starting a new game, try using the TAS when Ms Lannix has an AI of around 18. She will tell you, "I have no idea how this thing works." Suggestion: Check the Artifact requirements again.
  18. Spoken like a true Gammulan
  19. GCV Kentucky, All present and accounted for. Except for Resnig. Just received a rumor from the sub-deck regarding him and a garbage disposal.
  20. A retiring Pediatrician was in the process of packing up all of the things in his office that he had collected over the years. When he came to the one odd item in his collection and he wondered what to do with it. It was a rather large jar of formaldehyde, filled with the remnants of all the circumcisions he had performed on every male child he delivered. So he took the jar to his favorite taxidermist and requested that he make something from all the wee bits of male hide. He returned to the shop two weeks later and the taxidermist reached under the counter and handed the Doctor A small wallet. The Doctor then protested, "Was this all you could manage from that huge jar??" The Taxidermist just grinned and said, "Just rub it a couple of times and it turns into a steamer trunk."
  21. Oh, by the way.... Why would we want to use criminals to fight a war for us? There would be too great a chance for them to escape, armed. I have a better idea for reducing the prison populations of the world and still use them for something constructive/destructive on the battlefield. Since magnetic rail launching technology is coming into its prime these days, let's use the criminals as ammo. Simply cover them with TNT suits equipped with failsafe detonators, slap them on a rail launcher and lob away toward the enemy lines. The results would be two fold. 1. Destroying the enemy and his equipment. 2. Demoralizing the enemy from hearing a steady stream of guttural screams and expletives headed their way. The cost savings would be immense. Shattered bones and flying organs would be just as effective as costly steel casings that turn into shrapnel....and what is left is bio-degradeable.
  22. Y'all some sick puppies. We have medications for this ailment. These are orange, the other colors come later.
  23. Just an FYI ... Chicki needs some System Profile Info in the sig. It helps to know these things.
  24. Nice work on that new site Remo. I hate pop-ups, and pop-unders, but I do like pop.
