Which way to the airlock? I'm throwing myself out.

There is a small town in the great state of Tennessee where all of its citizens carry weapons. Both concealed and open. Guess what the crime rate is in this burg... That's correct. ZERO-ZILCH-NADA-NONE And there have been no reports that I know of where any of them have shot one another either by accident or in anger. Probably because they know if they do, one of the neighbors is going to plug 'em post haste. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. A gun is no different than any other inanimate object. It has to be motivated by an outside force to work. Governments throughout history have always been interested in controlling the general populace. I guess it was just a matter of time before ours decided to try their hand at it. Two hundred plus years isn't a bad track record, but I was hoping that it would be much much longer. So, if the U.S. government wants to take my weapons, they can come and pry them from my cold dead fingers. As for any criminal who wishes to deprive me of my life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness.... Survivors WILL be prosecuted IF there are any.

Q: What do you call one hundred lawyers at the bottom of New York harbor? A: A REAL GOOD START!

310Meg update. With DSL, it only took 4 hours to D/L the executable and 2 hours to get the update. And last but not least, a half an hour to come to the conclusion that this game blows CHUNKS!

*bump* D/L'ing this 800+ Meg beast now. Have a report for you tomorrow. I wonder if I'm bound by an NDA?

Of course, since this would no doubt be region based, for US encoded CDs or DVDs, you'd clip the plugs to your nipples. For Japan, you'd clip them to each of your testicles. If you happen to be in Russia, then I would suggest clipping the left node to your right nipple and the right node to your left butt cheek. Word of warning, you don't want to be standing to close to a network WiFi access point or you'd just end up getting interference and rendering the CD useless.[/QB] Of course we'll have to solve the problem of signal degradation caused by pectoral stimulus by the diode plugs. Maybe cryogenics would be the order of the day? Not to mention the possibility of homotrons being introduced as well. Perhaps if we just add a fuse for them to blow we could solve that problem. As for the Japanese method of attachment I would definitely recommend limited use of cryogenics to the application area. Now the Russians always do everything bassackwards. Install large, and I mean LARGE alligator clips. You know, the ones that look like a Bear trap. As for hood piercing, I once pierced the hood of a 74 Ford with a rather large screwdriver. Working on Fords always pisses me off!

You could always opt for the 64 Mb version and then add the other 64 yourself, if you're good with a soldering iron. I'm sure you could get the memory chips from Mushkin for a good deal less cash than what the card maker will charge you.

In the quest for upgrade GalCreds I had landed my shiney new Mk-3 on earth, loaded all the stores that were not essential to operation onboard a shuttle and headed for the Science Station orbiting Pluto. After trading between the Science Station and GalCom I had amassed enough credits to begin trading in weapons. I was on my third trip out to Pluto with a load of nukes when, much to my surprise, a Gammulan Stormcarrier and all of it's escorts decloaked off the port bow just as I dropped out of Hyperjump at the Pluto gate. They didn't even so much as say, "You have no chance. Make your time." before spreading my atoms all over the sector. My reaction? WTF?? Oh SH*T! [ 09-01-2002, 07:29 PM: Message edited by: Wolferz ]

BCTE is a standalone only program. Won't work with BCM, although the upcoming titles may pique your interest.

I can just see it now.... Gammulan Commander: "What is GalCom station doing out here in the Sygan sector?" Gammulan Subordinate: "Launching everything she has, sir!" During beta testing, I once experienced a glitch where my AE was switched from my MK-3 to flying GalCom HQ. Only problem was it wouldn't fit through a jumpgate.
