  1. Your Bridge Officers will order personnel back on station for you. If you wish your personnel to rest, send the Officer In Charge off duty too.
  2. If my quote is a problem, let me know and I'll remove it forthwith.

  7. Try the " + " and " - " keys. Hold the plus key down and tell me what happens.
  8. Those are some impressive graphics, Luc. Are you doing those just for ha ha's, or for Lucas Arts?
  9. Wait till we go online with BCM. Everyone will take a dump now and again. Oh, btw, don't eat any Jalapeno's or the Gams may commission another Firestorm.
  10. LOOK! It's turning into..... MEGA MAID!!!
  11. Those fighters are also handy for keeping an enemy station's defenses busy while you hammer them with your Cap Ship. Just be sure to get your crew trained before taking on the more experienced NPC's. Until then RUN

  13. 598, The problem lies with your ISP or one of the myriad of points in between. It could be a dirty (noisy) phone line. If you experience frequent bad downloads, have your line checked. There is a utility at www.dslreports.com that can check this. The next step is to call your telephone service provider. Now, don't tell us that you are using AOL. If you are, you have no room to complain about anything.
  14. Anyone here ever play Imperium Galactica? That one had mucho bridge graphics, as well as some hallways and seperate rooms. It wasn't bad for a really old DOS title, but it ain't no BCM by a long shot.
  15. quote: Originally posted by $iLk: GEFORCE3 64MB SDRAM DDR AGP4X SVIDEO TVOUT NVIDIA for $378 I like this one. How in the hell can they have two different types of RAM on this video board? SDRAM transfers only one bit of information on the falling edge of each clock cycle. DDR RAM (as it's name implies-Double Data Rate) transfers two bits of data on the rising and falling edge of each clock cycle. I guess those jokers threw that in there to throw off the unenlightened among us, since SDRAM is encapable of transferring bits at a double rate. ROTFLMAO Can you say, "I don't know squat about computer hardware, so screw me." ?
  16. I couldn't agree more.
  17. I have seen my firewall take > 100 hits in five minutes during peak times. I have traced the origin of many of those IP's to China. I guess the Chinese are looking for something for nothing, since they can't actively gain it by buying it.
  18. You could also land the CC, and then go explore in a SC.
  19. Try using VTOL if you wish the ship to hover.
  20. On duty and flight testing. "Damn the Photon Torpedoes, full speed reverse!" [ 08-04-2001: Message edited by: Wolferz ]
  21. It's not bootlicking, desolator. It's called Spit Shining
  22. GZ, Just you wait my friend. You want immersion? You're going to drown in it. In BC3K, I always turn off the cockpit/bridge graphics. This provides a better view of what is about to expose my crew and I to the vacuum of space. Usually in many pieces.
  23. Anyone seen the keys to the lucky locker? I need a drink!
  24. No, LD. They fly around Uranus looking for Klingons. ROTFL
  25. I had Populous on the SNES. All it did was put me to sleep.
