Gotta correct you. AGL = Above ground level. Read page 52, put above ground level and it will make sense.

I got really POed once. Ordered my CC to attack some little fighter. It was basically a one on one. The weirdest fight I ever had. Fighter flys straight at my CC and my CC straight at him. At about 15k they slow down to a crawl (about 200) closure rate and continue shooting at each other (all while flying head on), then when they come to about 8k they just stop and sit there shooting their guns at each other. I am sitting there and thinking, "this pilot has nerves of titanium" my shields are starting to drop to about 20% so I am starting to worry. Then my shileds drop to about 10%, by that time I am very POed. Then my crew gets some brains and starts turning and accelereting, about 15 seconds later I blew the fighter appart. That was the weirdest fight I ever had and lasted about 3 minutes.

What are you going to do when you go to sleep?

You can tell the ones that are really good when they stop posting silly questions and either start helping the newcomers settle or start RPing or telling stories. It's looking like those user comments are starting to turn out like one of those flame threads. That's exactly why I don't post at other sites nor read them. People who are locked into their opinions and think little of this sim stay on their sites and people who are willing to form their own opinion come here and do so, so it is useless to try and convince others otherwise and the only thing you get out of it is frustration.

Not to kill your fun guys, but for some reason I am not very extatic about BCM multiplayer. What I really am waiting for is BCO. Now THAT, will rule, I am even thinking of getting cable when it comes out.

To buy a shuttle follow this steps. 1. Dock with the station. 2. Go to TRADCOM - Spare Parts 3. Find Shuttle asset. Buy it.

Captain Dread, you forgot one more thing that you could add to the subject of terrorists not stopping until they don't have a cause anymore. Since their cause is total annihilation of infidels, when all people that do not share Islamic beliefs are dead then they won't have a cause anymore. And if we do things like Menchise suggests that's exactly what will happen. So instead of having my kids go through the same thing that happened on 9/11, I think we need to take care of the problem once and hopefully for all, the only way to do this is kill terrorists and their supporters. Those supporters are also civilians. Also, just like in any war, there will be some civilians that are not the supporters of terrorists, but that's the price that will bring long term peace and it's better than having 6,000 people dead every 40 years, or God forbid them setting off some nuclear or biological bomb. Like I said before, I hate the fact that people who would take action to protect themselves and secure a safe future and a place in this world for their kids, also have to protect those who would do nothing and if natural evolution would take it's course, be dead a long long time ago. Jaguar, you are absolutely right. Especially about #1. It makes me so mad when I see someone running for election promising to make it better for the "needy". That's such bull, what he is actually saying is he will make it easier for leeches and ticks, and harder for people who work, pay taxes and have to support those leeches and ticks. Also, for anyone who thinks that what I mean by leeches and ticks is anyone who receives welfare or some help from the government, let me clarify. If you need some help for 6 months to get a job because you lost your previous one, that's fine, if you need some help for going to school and trying to better yourself so you can provide a better life for your family and contribute more, that's fine, but if you been getting help for years, have 10 kids because you didn't use your head and now can't support them so government has to, came to this country and receive social security without working here a day then no, it's not fine. SC will add an option to target the drone you deployed on the planet in some later patches. As for now, you can zoom in close to the surface, pitch the cam level with the horizon and rotate in 360 degrees, see if you can spot it that way.

Also, when you are docked to the station and access TRADCOM, you can select "REPAIR MINERALS" from the drop down menu and see which ones you need for repairs.

Main and auxilaury life support, make sure they are turned on, and also see that you have enough nutripacks for your people to eat.

Your system info. Hardware/drivers, operating system, DX8 version, windows media player version, BCM and it's version. Come on. Get all that info together and put it in your system profile when you register the game and then post the link to that profile in your sig. Come on SC. Ground assaults, OTS weapons, and mines are very expansive and there's A LOT of mission zones, enough to keep you busy for weeks on 1 planet. So don't make it too hard to get money, otherwise it will just make it harder to make ground attacks which are VERY fun.
