Okay, it's about time I finally got around to telling everyone. I've built up a place on an Orion Fleet Subdomain Server, for the RPs. It's under construction, really small ATM, but it's got some basic newbie info, which was my first priority. www.rp.orionfleet.com The Orion Fleet RP Source Tell me what you think. I, too am looking for a video recorder program..... But if all else fails, I can take the long route: use TV display, then record it onto a VCR, playback VCR on TV Tuner, record...... But I'm too lazy. So, what do you think is a good program? ----- Anyway, I'm keeping the 21st as my gold date; as in, SC announces it on the 21st. Hopefully we'll all have our copies by the end of next week--wait! That's just wishful thinking again....

Umm.... Good question. Are there going to be 'official' campaigns for the Pilot and Marine careers? If I overlooked that somewhere, then sorry for asking. --- To me, it doesn't matter particularly, because with the GBS-II system, we'll all probably start to make new missions and such on an extreme scale. --- Anyway, JJ, if there aren't any, then you can just go it as a commander, and just exit your craft and then just do the marine act as training for Multiplayer. While I'm at it, change your sig. Make up an asset name (you'll have a tank or ATV whatnot), and fix those italic tags while your at it. See my sig and the UBB Code page for info and help. (as in, actually name a ship, and take those odd plus signs out, and stuff) That's the last time I'm going to tell you.

See? This is why I really want to get down to writing one of those newbie guides on basics. You know, like play this, read this, this is how you do that, and so on. It's one of my top priorities (at least BC-wise), and I've actually started one. Boy, have any of the newbies even played (or on a sadder note, heard of) BC3K?

I think this was Ep 5 was talking about. I'm not sure if it's in exact form--got it in an e-mail from someone I know: "In the city of York, 2 twin brothers will collapse and be separated by chaos while the fortress falls, the great leader will succumb and the war will begin when the great city is burning." --Nostradomus --- Double freaky...... Although, I don't belive in that "end of the world prophecy" stuff. (Or I'm leading myself to thinking I don't believe......) Still, I've got to admit that I'm Catholic. Funny thing is, is that I haven't really taken any consideration on the differences of Catholicism and other Christian denominations. --- I don't think the reading's exactly Catholic, because I was able to find it in a regular bible at my house. For reference, it's in the Old Testament, right before the book of Zechariah. Anyway, the entire book is just 3 short chapters, totaling only less than 2 1/2 pages (one-sided count). Some information in here tells me that "Zephaniah preached around the late 7th Century B.C, probably in the decade before King Josiah's religious reforms of 621 B.C." (So Hellbinder's guess was just 500 or so off.....) The jist of it is entirely about doom and the day of the Lord's judgement... It's short, but it's pretty strong. Yes, I don't think it applies directly, either. Lets see the titles of some of the sections: "Doom of the Nations Around Israel" (title above Ch 2, Vs. 4) "Jerusalem's Sin and Redemption" (name of Ch. 3). If you read it, it's extremely vague about places and the length of time of wars, battles, and such aren't clear (as always in a prophecy). If you believe it or not, I don't really care. I'm trying to make myself as 'politically correct' as possible.... I don't bias people on their beliefs, just trying to be friendly and keeping an open mind. It's just me. --- But it too, strikes me as odd that that was the little verse for the 11th (on the calendar)........ *begins to ponder* And that about does it for Hellbinder's job. I anticipated an economic fall, the World Trade Center being hit, and all, but this is beyond what I've predicted. $4.00? Where exactly is Burlingame? How much was it beforehand? It was 1.55 last week, and around 1.47/gallon this morning, before the incident happened, here in St. Louis. Around the 1.80-2.00 mark in Chicago. Either way, we'll feel a large economic slowdown, worse than the one we felt earlier this year, and perhaps starting another Great Depression-style thing. Yep, after the Bush telecast, there was one of those ticker-tape messages at the bottom, that said "Northern Alliance claims responsiblility for Afghan Explosions...."

That's okay. But still, it's funny that there's already explosions in Afghanistan, although Bin Laden denied him being involved, and the Taliban (rulers of Afghanistan) said they were against the attacks. And the Pentagon is still refusing to produce numbers for casualties. I feel like a reporter, doing this. And I'm pretty good at this too! I usually hate the media, too...... President Bush will address the nation, from the white house, at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (-5 GMT). All for now.

Bin Laden is on the move, and is reported to heading into hiding. CNN is only using a video phone, so it's hard to see, and everything I see is delayed....... It may not be the US retalliating, and people should be cautious about jumping to conclusions, they say....... --- Update. Nic Robertson, CNN reporter is right in Kabul watching also, and he has some sources that are pretty sure that it's an ammunition dump in that area of Kabul. CNN believes it may be an internal skirmish, civil-war like. But, for a rebel group, the explosions are "non-typical", because the 'Northern Alliance' in Afhanistan have been inactive for years. Pray that a war will not occur. The amount of people who died in New York will be trivial compared to what will happen if a war is triggered.

Oh, please. Everyone calm down! Bloodshed won't bring back people, bloodshed won't make the United States safe, and bloodshed will only make the U.S. less popular, leading to more terrorist attacks, folks. Paddy, have you heard of plastic weapons? The security is good enough (God, my dad's good luck charm coin spent us 20 min at the security gate in April), but like they say, "Where there's a will, there's a way." Foolish suicide pilots, thinking they're getting into heaven for doing that; they'll find a way. Eyes are on Bin Laden, but I'm still not sure yet. No one wants to jump to a war, without being sure if you're even attacking the right enemy. Speculation and panic are extremely good weapons for terrorists. If the U.S. begins to suddenly panic, then they can and will strike again, soon, while we're still mourning and grieving. It looked like a movie, read like a documentary of Oklahoma City, but it's much more. This is the REAL THING. Right here, in the heart of the U.S.A. Think about it, and get it set into your minds. Pearl Harbor? Pearl Harbor looks like a skirmish to this. Comparing this vicious act of cold blooded mass murder to Pearl Harbor is nonsense. In my third period (around 9:45 Central; -6 GMT), I learned of it and we all started watching TV. By the end of the day, it seemed as the entire school (along with the rest of the US) was in shock. All activities were cancelled, and the local malls were shut down. --- Many other students didn't take it seriously, but I did. If only others would see the world, in it's entirety; or are they pretending they don't care?....... 2 teachers had children in New York, one of them was on vacation touring Manhattan, another was a worker inside the World Trade Center. The tourist was okay and called up the school as soon as word came out. My coach, who's son worked in the WTC, left the school, expecting a call at home. We're still unsure of him. Teachers (at least the older ones) compared this to when Kennedy was assassinated. They told us about when they learned of it, how they didn't believe it at first, and the sudden jolt and shock that came when they did. That's the exact way my feelings went along. I say that this will go into the history books of our children, much like Pearl Harbor is in the history book that I use. The scenes were "movie-like", watching the people run away, the mayor telling everyone to "remain calm", and to "get out" of the city...... And even with the confusion, fear, shock, and sadness, across the world, there were scenes of people celebrating in Palestine....... We as a nation were raised to believe we are the strongest. But this proves to show that we shouldn't rule out the inevitable. There will always be someone trying to destroy whatever someone else has set up. --- At the time (3:15PM Central Time; -6 GMT), Building 7 of the WTC is on fire and may also collapse, the President is in an undisclosed location, lower Manhattan has been evacuated, all flights in the US will be stopped until Noon (Eastern; -5 GMT), Tomorrow (Wednesday, Sep. 12, 2001), Disneyland and Disneyworld are closed, malls are closed, professional sports games are put on hold, the Red Cross is in desperate need of blood (and they're even holding emergency blood drives here in St. Louis), the National Mall area of Washington DC is empty, and (from CNN) less than 50 flights are reported by the FAA as in the air, with no trouble. --- I think this particular incident is over, but may this be a foreshadowing of things to come? --- I feel sorry for everyone who is affected directly or indirectly.
