Very interesting stuff from Netherlands. You will excuse me if I am as dubious about thier government generated reports as you probably would be if you read any thing on the NIDA site. I would also point out that geographic, social, cultural and political deiffernces between a country of 15 million and one of two hundred fifty million is clear even to the biggest pot head in the world.My main problem with legalization is I trust the gov and corporate america less than the people currently running the drug trade. Have you seen the commercials that have for viagra? Can you even IMAGINE the one they would have for Weed? We live in a consumer driven economy that would prey on those who cant take care of themselves and that scares the crap out of me. Add to that , two biggest indicators of eventual drug addiction are biological predisposition and age of onset and mix it in with legalized pot etc..well I'm not complaining , I'll always have a job. But no one who has children should feel safe or think that THIER kids are the ones who arent drinking or smoking pot. And while this is purely anecdotal not one resident in the program I work for who is addicted to heroin or cocaine, started out using that substance, ALL of them started with pot or alcohol, the gateway drug. The pot flavored lollipop is just another symptom of the cancer of mass consumerism and irresponsible business practices that promote it.

Street, you and I are freqently on the same side and I agree that entrapment happens, but trust me when I say that isnt the indicative of the types of people I work with. Oh yea and Amesterdam? was there in 1982, been there done that...however you may want to check the veracity of your statment on addiction rates as they are not what you characterized them to be..asks some oh the folks on this board who LIVE there and thye may have a different story.

Anyone who says it is just another shooter hasnt played it. It is a brilliant game more in the vein of Splinter cell than anything else out there. This game rocks!

I am happy with the series as it airs in the us. I have no interest in seeing any other version. It is simply the most mature and serious sci-fi show ever.The themes of family, betryal, obsession, revenge, madness, are down right Shakespearean. The sex scenes (toned down) evoke a level of reality that it's kiddie show predecessor never reached. Thats just my opinion

I've no further use for professioanl politicians of any stripe. They are all ALWAYS running for re-election and this is clearly a ploy to cover someone schilling for votes. Will someone create a game where we can chase elected officials around while shoving red hot pokers up there asses?

Well SC I didnt see the Movie but did go rubber necking at the Premiere here in Pitsburgh. Aint too many premeiere in this neck of the woods but I did catch QT, Robert Rodriquez, Tom Savini and the creepmiester himself George Romero. The Tix were 125 bucks (including an after party) so I just gaped at em for free on my way home from work. I'll see the movie saturday after Batman
