Good! I Think I am finally undestanding that this show is really like nothing else we have seen in the Sci-fi universe. The pacing, the character studies, lighting, music combine to take the time to tell complex interesting stories.

Hang in there dude. I was out of work for five months after being at the same company for 12 years. I landed right side up and got a job that increased my salary by 10 grand. There's a suprise. I'll add this to my "why its cool to think Republican are *******s file". While it is clever and mildly amusing it masks some really scary thoughts. This country is getting darker by the minute: ie.. more asian, african, and latin. The world is getting smaller and not everyone looks like the Cleaver family and thats cool.However Aint nothing cool about being a thickheaded, racially insensitive, mysogonistic numb-nutted SOB and thinking that it is proves we live in dangerous times. So I offer in return: I think Ronald reagan did his finest acting job in his long running show "The Pres". Way better than "Bedtime for Bonzo" I also think he is the father of modern urban gang warfare as most gangbangers are known as Reagan Babies in tha hood. I beleive that there are too many white sportswriters who practice character assasination on players of color and that the number of writers should be proportionate to the racial balance of the sport they cover. I think Larry Bird had a lot of talent and that Michael Jordan worked just as hard as he did. I think that there is crying in baseball, if you dont beleive me try being a Cubs fan. I beleive that people who think the Matrix is a religion are stranger than people who wear their StarFleet uniform to work. I like Hugh Grant movies. I think Timothy Dalton was underrated as James Bond. I liked the Chronicles of Riddick, thought the Villiage sucked. I know that when they say white collar crime they mean white skin crime and that sucks ass. I think Donald Trump is a horses ass..picture the horses' tail and fill in the blank. I beleive that Jason Giambi admitting to using steroids is a bigger story than Barry Bonds maybe using them; you would too if the roles were reversed. I beleive that the Robert Blake trial is under reported and the Michael Jackson trial is over reported. I beleive that while good looking Paris Hilton is the symbol of everything thats wrong with this country and Nicole Ritchie is worse cause she aint that cute. I beleive John McCain should run for president...soon. Most of all I think a persons world view cant be crysatlized in one page and that if it is it aint worth a good fart in a stiff wind but what do I know?

Tried watching Firefly and thought it to be a trifle about space gunslingers..looked stupid to me but I only saw one episode and was in the dark about the backstory. As far as Enterprise goes I'm sad anytime we lose another genre series but truth be told although it was improving, it wasnt good enough. I remember once my wife and I leaving a dinner party early to get home in time to watch the season premeier of ST:NG, you know the one with the Locutus of Borg ( I am convinced that that two parter was the second best ST movie behind the Wrath of Khan)Well I never left anything early to see Enterprise or Voyager. Oh well I still have Sci Fridays in the SciFi network...

I'd play more computer games if I was smart enough or rich enough to ensure they run on that heap of scrap I call my rig. I tell people who like Mechassault to try MW4 and see why I was dissappointed by MA both 1&2. However for those of us who dont know computers forwards and backwards there is a learning curve. I am a professional with a job that takes up 60+ hrs per week,I'll be back in school in May( Thats right call me Dr Race Bannon!) a husband and father and I wont even count the time spent in church or vollunteering. So when I have LIMITED time to play games thats what I do. I dont have hours to patch games and download drivers and cruise the forums for tips on how to get games to run. I dont think people who play console games are idiots; however I do think that type of thinking will assist PC games into going the way of the dinosaur. I guess I just hope that there will someday be an easier way to enjoy the great games I have in my posession and cannot play (Rome Total War, Call Of Duty, HL-2, Farcry and yes even BCM)Consoles are convenient and fool proof (emphasis on the fool part)for the most part and are a poor but in my case neccessary substitute for PC gaming.

The new Chick Corea Elektrik Band has been played rather loudly up and down the streets of Pgh. Also SC if you like Chris Botti you should give "Pure" by Cuong Vu a listen. He is currently the trumpet player for the Pat Metheny Group and is really amazing.
