Dont matter.... I'm getting one. Look, so many people hate Bill Gates and Microsoft they are blind to what the XBox is..the best console on the market! Is there even any dispute? Easier to develop for, better graphics, Xbox live and guess what? I have had the same unit since the first week it launched and I run marathon gaming hours on it and not ever one problem. Know what I got in the bottom of a big box in the basement? THREE! 3 PSone's! Only one of them works. The other two both expired by not reading disks in the drive. The complaints? The controller is too big (whine), The unit is too big (fine whine),not enough good games (vintage whine) bullcrap! There are only a few exclusive titles that I really miss and now that i got Forza Motor Sport that decreased by one. Let me see..SOCOM I&II and ..and.. ok next question. I guess the dearth of RPG's on the box is problem but since I dont like RPG's no problem! I read the review about 360m underwhelming the crowd at E3 and I also watched those dildo's from G4 eviscirate the Microsoft presentation as if they had personal biases..(no chance at that) Buy whatever you want but dont fool yourself. If I'm going with track record i'm ponying up for my 360

I've been listening to a Jazz station from Denmark that plays a wide range of sounds from Pat Metheny to Charlie Parker. They display a playlist that has kept me buying new music. I have personally kept Record-Rama Soundarchive in business this month. BTW Recordrama is the most extensive musical archive on the planet..I'd put up a link but as you all know I'm a techno-dolt.

Normally i rant against the rich and powerful, but the fact is if you are a celebrity you are a target. Hounded by the media , trapped by thier own fame EVERYTHING they do is is under a microscope. Who knows if MJ is pedophile? All I know is once you have been accused of this crime you have already been convicted and if you pay people money to settle, there is always someone else looking to get paid. I agree with Jag cause I remember when he wasnt a freak. He never got a chance to be a kid and beleive me that has a cost. Besides, Elvis was pretty freaky too, ( Not sleeping with Prisilla after the baby was born-ever, pulling people over with fake badges and trying to be a secret agent among other things) ANYONE who acheives that level of fame is affected by it. I feel sorry for the kids ivolved and for MJ's pathetic figure as well.

The BL (that's bottom line for you squares out there) is that people are more boorish and ill mannered than ever, and the discerning movie goer can do without that type of behavior. Ringing cellphones, constant prattling during the film, toddlers in R rated movies, and cheap bastards trying to sneak into the VIP section have degraded the movie going experience so much I can do without it. I still go but usually wait and go on a weekday when the the theater is less populated. Since I have to take a day off to do that I choose VERY carefully what I am going to see. I am sure a few others feel the same way. I do occassionally go to the specialty houses but they are usually running older films. I went a little while back to see Spartacus and Lawrence of Arabia, which I had never seen on a big screen. It was an excellent experience and the audience was well behaved; there was also a discussion after the films with local film studies students and such. Really cool.I just wished I lived somewhere where that is done more often. Generally I categorize films has one I must see when it hits the screen or one that is a DVD purchase. I don't see this changing much.

However the gulf between HD and standard seems less to me than the gulf btw my current rig and a high end Alienware or custom rig. But thats just me

If G4v markets thier programming to the narrow demographic of the hardcore gamer they would be off the air in a month. I have no use for The Whip Set and other nonsense but i still watch X-Play, Cinematech, Cheat and Filter. I also like the segment of G4TV where they interview owners of Game stores across the country on hat is selling in thier area. And I must state that my watching X-Play has NOTHING to do with Morgan Webb....honest
