What would have been an acceptable amount of gayness? Even the the most cursory reading of history the period reveals the practice of male sodomy in Greek society. I havent seen the film and wont simply because I gave up on Stone after Platoon, but I think many folks have bought into the whitewashing of Hollywood filmmaking and that this film skewers those perceptions. I mean I thought Cleopatra looked like Liz Taylor until I was about ten years old. I've also seen films about Hannibal that had white actors portraying a man that clearly wasnt. All Stone has done is go too far in the other direction and because it doesnt suit us personally, now we are outraged? Now you know how Chinese Americans, Native Americans and Latinos feel about having Anglo actors portraying thier great historic figures in film. Sorry $ilk but films ALWAYS have an agenda, and just because its one that you (and I) disagree with dont make it wrong. Beside the trailors from this film screamed BOMB to me from the start. What with Angelie Jolie overemoting like a soap star, and the lame "conquer your fears" speech, I was happy to take the Evil One to see SpongeBob

I wonder if I modded this for a current president if more people would be outraged!It is utterly dispictable to even consider playing the demo let alone the actual game itself. No game should venture down this road. What's next? Recreate the crucifixtion of Christ? Perhaps a video game that allows you to drag a person of color behind a pick up truck till he croaks?

I'm not suprised that this would come out given the political climate of today.

Maybe its more a question of how consumed she was with the subject and the real question is whether her depression existed prior to and influenced her to write about that particular subject, than the effect the subject matter had on her.

I thought this ep wasnt as good as the Augments eps but still interesting enough for me to feel this show may be hitting its stride. I truly hated ST:NG the first season. I thought and still think the Farpoint pilot was horrendous. For me the show hit stride when Tasha Yar got smoked by that oil slick thing. Not that I didnt like the character, quite the opposite but it resonated with me by exploring loss in a way that was rarely done on episodic tv. Enterprise is beginning to explore some of the same emotional ground now. If only they could do something about the infusing the somewhat wooden Ensign Merriweather with some life, maybe get him laid or something...

In retrospect a very very good game that does not surpass the original. Also wayyyyyy! too short but still a great game. Bring on Half Life2! 9/10

No luck on the re-airing..seems Harry Potter is the Saturday movie of the week on ABC

SC you may want to change the priority setting on your season pass list so it will record over lower priority series and movies. And I still think it was the french chick who hit Sayeed!

Why buy a game you know you dont like? So you can have something new to ***** about! I dislike RPG's so I purposely dont buy them simply to spew venom. If you are convinced console games are the devils work STOP ****ING BUYING THEM! Its called voting with your feet. I for one dont want to hear the PC vs Console thing rehashed ad infinitum, ad nauseum

I took a break after just 20 minutes of playing and all I can say is I'm calling off tomorrow. I love the dual wielding as well as the Battlerifle. The new pistol doesnt have a scope but of course everyone knew that was coming. The game comes with a free XBox live 60 day trial so I am going to by a new DSL modem tomorrow morning and check it out. The crowd at Gamestop wasnt bad at 11:15 but at the store I went to ( Fox Chapel Pa, near my house) by 12:00 the line streched back past five store fronts past an intersection to the Wal-Mart. To boot store staff was handing out copies of MOH Pacific Assault demos to the first fifty people in line. All in all pretty cool though it was a frosty 38 degrees. Well my break is over..I'll report back in about a week.

Bush is the President. I am an American. As long as those things don't change I guess he is my president and I hope things improve in our country. SC a rare political statement from you and I couldnt agree more. I just hope the next election is free of the GOP smear machine . Maybe I'll get lucky and John McCain will run. He is probably the only politician alive who can heal the rifts and fissures created by Rove and Co. As for Obama I hope he doesnt run. As far as this country has come, they are not ready for anything but white men in the white house. Barack would be dead before the inauguration.

The State Supreme Court has ordered GOP staffers to cease and desist following Native American voters home from the polls and copying down thier lisence plate numbers. This is gonna be interesting...
