OK, lets see if we can find out why your game no longer runs. First things first. You said that once you patch it, then it won't run. btw, please add your OS to your sig. I need EVERY newbie who is reporting a problem, to do this please. Either put your basic systems specs in your sig or post it in the first message which describes your bug. Uninstall the game using Add/Remove Use Explorer and delete the folder where the game was installed. Re-install Run the game, start a mission and then quit. This is just to ensure that it runs. Download the patch again (yes!) and copy it into the folder where the game is installed. Then using Explorer or Start/Run, execute the patch. Now run the game again. Once the protection screen comes up, click continue. Before you do that, make sure that it doesn't say it has expired. It should show an expiration date of 11/26. I didn't do ANYTHING with fonts. If you have borked your fonts, go into Control Panel and use the Font applet to install the font located in the DATA folder where BCM is installed.

In a future patch there will be menu commands in fp mode so that you can order your marines around without having to fiddle in Tacops. I just have to design the interface and how it will work (like Fleet C&C). As for the space marines - yeah, they won't fire unless they have a perfect firing solution. Need to look into that somemore. Thanks for the reminder.

OK, will look into it tomorrow. Its not fatal, so am sure you'll live.
