I'm getting good audio performance and stability, no sounds breaking up, average fps of 19 when using the all sounds setting, very impressive when everything's happening all around you However, as far as I can tell I'm getting no attenuation with distance on the sounds of PTA, main gun fire and ship explosions, they sound just as loud when they happen within 2km of me as when they are on the other side of the region (when all the enemy fighters still active jump away and the freindly fighters jump after them and engage, or if I jump away from the battle in the middle of it and there's nothing within a few hundred thousand clicks of me). Could be just the onboard sound card I have not supporting something.

As I posted in the duel thread, my connection's very sluggish at the moment, and I've just heard from the ISP that it won't be fixed until the new year (every employee the manufacturer of the spare part required is on holiday until then) so I'm restricted to admin stuff until further notice. Hopefully I'll be ready for the match on the 8th (if it's accepted for that date)

Argh! My connection is still going like a wounded snail (has been all week) A technician from the ISP has finally come today and narrowed it down to a hardware fault in our WiFi aerial, and they're all out of spares. This means, my connection will still be way slower than dial-up speed and cutting out regularly until well into next week at the earliest, meaning we'll have to postpone our duel again. At least you'll still have your match up with Marc.

There are some MP handbook issues to discuss/resolve, and there hasn't been a fleet leaders meeting in a while. I know people are probably going to be busy over Christmas, so how about the first weekend of the new year (7th/8th)? Also, can someone please send me the Insurgent Diplomatic channel password again (I've forgotten it ) so I can post some stuff for consideration/ discussion, or should I send it via Sho to pass on to the other fleet leaders?

The ship type and launch base are part of the standard galcom signature on these forums. We could drop the ship mottos for now and move them over to the ships database later. Btw Marc, Wing Leader is not a rank, it's a function within the fleet. You are still Commander (or Cmdr.) Marc Wubbema.
