  1. Dont know Ben, it seemed to me that this thing's sched has not been finalized so who knows. I already missed it if it were tonight. Since none are around to nail this puppy down I will make a decision Conference will be held on Sunday, 25 June, 2000, at 1500 hours EST, 2000 hours GMT, on ICQ. Se ye all then. TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-24-2000).]
  2. Now why would ye wants to do that? BC3K v2.09 is one stable bugger, no need for debug mode, just play until ye deconstruct TTFN
  3. "...bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy...fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun..." Depends on time proposed fer Sunday, 25 June Whisper. TTFN [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-23-2000).]
  4. There can always be more than one of these gatherings someone will takes notes and make avail to those that cannot attend this gathering on the 24th of June. TTFN
  5. aramike01 - if ye looks real close at the entire ship name you will notice a subtle difference. Yours starts with ICV whilst Cmdr. Logan's begins with GCV. Two different organizations and what not so there for would constitute two completely different ship names. Unless of course ye plans to surrender ye evil ways and return back into the fold TTFN P.S. Cmdr. Logan prepare for the worse - just in case. aramike01 has had the Intrepid shipname since he joined the forum. [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-22-2000).]

    RPG's

Dabbled into P&P AD&D and Traveller in me younger days. Kinda partial to the Edler Scrolls series from Bethesda. Waiting for Morrowind next year. Pool of Radiance looks promising. Will be interesting to play using new combat rules. TTFN [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-22-2000).]
  7. CHeck the rest of the CD out....there be all kind of goodies. Another place to get these tibits is at the downloads page. TTFN
  8. Nice, very nice. More tools for the deconstruction process. I like it Almost makes me wanna give up the front seat of a BC and go on a frag-fest TTFN
  9. hehehehe ... trying to figure out why my voodoo5 doll is quirky on me. Have possible lead but needs to take small break from reboot mode TTFN
  10. Keeping zooming on the blink bokes that ye see. Most time ye has to look real hard to find them. Easiest way to ensure that ye gets those buggers is to send a Bugnor down on each blink red box ye see. That all they be good for att IMO, Target pratice. BC:M and beyond will be completely different story. TTFN
  11. Excellant selection Cmdr. Logan. As to training requirements, there be nada ... fer now. Learn the game and your BC inside out and be ready to stomp some Gludious Maximus one BC:M and beyond are released. Become familiar with what Tac first posted on the Corsair Cove topic thread. Don't worry about Wing Organization stuff, worry about that if/when the need arises Change ye sig to look something like this: Commander Logan GCV Intrepid *2nd Squadron, Corsair Wing Stationed, Starbase Cerberus "When the going gets weird, the weird get professional" (ICQ UIN goes here) GMT Timezone (+/-) =Wraith Fleet= BTW ye gets command of the 2nd Squadron. Ye can drive one of those new pea-shooter fighters the Fleet has too if ye choose. TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-21-2000).]
  12. hehehe ... UCV designation equates to target TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council
  13. That would be S.I.N. Wing or Corsair Wing. Sommerset's Sinners get stuck with several fecal related assignments where as Corsair Wing gets stuck with the bovine variety along with other un-conventional types. Check out the Wraith Fleet Structure topic thread. Each Wing within Wraith Fleet has their own topic thread with their own mission statement intro along with cool Wing Insignia. Easiest way to find these tidbits of various information is to set Show topics from last 30 Days tab at the top of the Wraith thread to Show topics from last 100 Days. TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-21-2000).]
  14. Great choice Cmdr. Logan, now comes the tricky part - which part of Wraith Fleet does ye wish to affiliate with? Shameless plug coming I could use a good Commander that can think on his toes, not shirk at unconventional tactics implementation, enjoy esoteric opportunities, and surreal assignments . TTFN and welcome to our nightmare. ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-21-2000).]
  15. My struggle with my pretty little Voodoo5 doll continues. With the exception of this one quirk, this doll flippin' rocks IMO. quote:SC stated elsewhere: ...I have no problems with BC3K v2.0x on my V5, so I don't know what the problem is. Sorry. The work-around is to probably use Continue instead of the Restore function... That is how I am running BC in 3dFx mode SC. My search continues and getting more dangerous as I progress thru the tattered webs of the net. A little knowledge can be dangerous, especially for me. To the gist. Did another uninstall of v5 and drivers. Massive search for any .ini files and registry entries referencing Voodoo, 3Dfx, and Glide. Deleted those that I found. Reinstalled BC3K, etc. Still hickups when loading savegame from Main Menu/Restore. Selecting Continue works like a charm in all the eye-candy Even with all this difficulty, playing BC in 3dFx mode on v5 is great - better than my old Banshee. Framerates are excellant, still slow down some in that one spot in Tod1-m1/5 but recovers quickly. BC runs great in software mode and in 3dFx mode using steps outlined by SC. My hunt for a cure for this quirk is not ended. I am determined as hell to get to the root of this evil. Anyone else besides the SC and myself running BC3K on a Voodoo5 5500 V-Card? If so I would like to hear from you and get some setup settings also. TTFN [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-20-2000).]
  16. quote:...I want my character to be a sort of futuristic "Submarine Commander"... Sounds like my current MO. AN asute BC Commander must think like the bubbleheads and airdales - think in 3D that is; X, y, & Z axis to be exact. Theory behind hiding in a debris field is akin to finding a thermal layer in the deep blue sea. To mask the BC signature amongst the clutter of asteroids and flotsam that accumulate there-in. Same as a sub creating a knuckle during high speed maneuvers, etc. This is mostly theory IMO and regulated to some vivid imagination and stretching the poetic liscense to the extreme. I haven't the opportunity to prove this theory but will try once BCM is released. ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council
  17. Good idea Whisper, should prove to be interesting and enlightening event. M-TH 1800-2100ish EST (GMT-5) are good times. Fri eve/night and weekends are better for me. Propose a date & time and I'll make it if I can TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council
  18. As of now, fleets serve as an affiliation reference point for forum members - my interpretation. Once BC:M and beyond (excluding GO) are fielded...er released, then Fleet affiliation could be used for pure Multiplayer deconstruction enjoyment and satisfaction. Welcome to our nightmare Cmdr. Logan. Mayhaps ye should peruse the forum and other BC related websites. Soon the howlering will begin fer ye to pick an affiliation; aka pick a Fleet TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-20-2000).]
  19. Edited pervious statement [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-20-2000).]
  20. Change ye sig from GCV DeathMARK to UCV DeathMARK and ye just made ye mark IMO. TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-20-2000).]
  21. No, I disagree with moving this thread. Just because there are numerous posts using RP tags does not constitute actual RP endeavor. Somewhere within my last post is my latest take on the Fighter v. BC debate. RP tags are used so as not to personnally offend/attack anyone. IOW when RP tags are used dang near anything can be posted. Make a post without a RP tag use that attacks or may offend another member on this forum can/could cause mega hardship(s) down the road for ALCON. 22. [rp] Sitting in his spartan planet-bound office, Gallion [/rp] Sorry, I couldn't resist this TTFN ------------------ Commander Gallion GCV Graf Spee *1st Squadron, *Corsair Wing Stationed, *Starbase Cerberus "Run Silent, Run Deep" ICQ# 29486270, EST (GMT-5) =Wraith Fleet= Second in Command, Wraith Fleet Bushi of the Dragon Council [This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 06-20-2000).]
  23. If ye miss Dip1 at Pluto JP, then jump to Pluto and Tractor Dip1 before it enters wormhole. This is where I tractor Dip1 99.9% of the time. TTFN
  24. quote:...even thought "X"-BTF was much better. Now that be bad...very bad. TTFN
  25. Yep, that works too. Sometimes better than the heavy handed hands-on method. TTFN
