No, not the BCM box, the CD BOX, just an empty CD box and "Battlecruiser Millenium" writen on it with letters, and the EB in Hillsdale Mall at Hillsdale, CA is selling it.

Also Blizzard is a good company that is putting out some great games.

I saw a CD box at EB which had "Battlecruiser Millennium" written on it and they had that on sale. Now if I buy that CD box does it guarantee me that I will get the game when it ships and in the original box, or will I have to wait for the second batch?

My advice is squeeze your wallet and get something that has a force feedback, you will appreciate it in a long run.

Yeah, I am still sad about Interplay, they made the greatest games. Silent Hunter II has got me worried now, when the game in development gets disturbed like this it always leaves an impact, and if anything happens to Derek well, you can just forget about the PC games all together and switch over to some console game because the stuff that is on the shelves right now is basically crap and there's very few games in development that I am looking forward to, all of them either resemble an advanced game of Doom and I hate pointless games like that or they resemble starcraft which was great but enough is enough. Yeah, and also, you can't shorten the pipeline (T-bird) but you can make a higher clock speed (Intel) So think about the future possible chips from Intel and Athlon.

Imagine if that kind of detail can be in GCO or possibly an add on for BCM. You would never buy another game again.

I like the way SC uses the word "ludicrous" and that after his post the topic is pretty much shut down and people start ranting about different things.

I have both the Sims and Black and White. I would get black and white. The Sims get kinda boring after 3 or 4 days. It gets to be the same everyday, get up, eat, go to work, come back, invite guests, work out, sleep, and then the same. Once you get enough money, purchase new stuff for the house, and then what? Although in your case the best thing is to wait and get the other Sim game that's coming out, I forget the name. The major draw back in current Sims game is that it's on a small scale, you can only be inside your (block) and that's where the action is. The new one that's coming out is more like the Sims on a small town setting. So wait and get that one, but if you need something right now, I would recommend Black and White.

Well, actually it all depends on how you play the game. I tought my creature a lot of spells and since I point it out to him that it's good to cast those spells on villagers he helps out a lot. As for the villagers, if you do everything for them then they will get lazy and just sit around waiting for you to get them food and wood and all that stuff, you gotta let them harvest their own food and just build fields for them, then they will be self sufficient, otherwise you WILL get tired looking after them all the time. So it all depends, you can make the game enjoyable or you can make it the biggest drag and hate it later, when after all it's your own fault.

He is a sneaky one, he wants to have fighters continuously ready. The damaged one comes in, put the pilots in the ready one, and while it's fighting rearm/repair the old one and bam, you got a fresh fighter on your hands, ready to replace the next damaged one. What I think is instead of having 4 fighters, it would be great to have lets say 16 figters but only 4 fighter launch bays and one big bay for rearm and repairs. That way you can have a limit on fighter launch/retrieve ops and have some extra fighters to rotate in place of the damaged ones. Makes sence to me, but it's SC's game so don't think I am making any demands or anything, just rambling.

Yeah, BC:M really has no comparison to other games. It's more like a recreation of some sci-fi future for us humans, and the best part is it tries to stay as real as possible, if you would think you should be able to do it in real life, you will most likely be able to do it in the game.

Gotta add: you also keep wondering what the hell you spend your 40 bucks on.

I heard that once you beat Hostile waters there's no replay value whatsoever, there isn't even a random mission generator in the game. I hate games like that, when you are done all you are left with is 2 options, toss the cd, or take a deep sigh and start the story all over again with the same ending. Eeeegh.

I think no interior. This discussion has been held before, but who knows, SC is kinda unpredictable, he can say no interior now and a year later there's a patch for first person view in ships and stations. Don't hold your breath though. As for GCO, then I think there will be first person in buildings, but not on ships or stations.

LOL, and I also gotta say, what's with the new names coming up, isn't there a Commander Nova name, and now this Nova... there's a couple of other new names that sound too much like the veteran members. What's up with that?

Also I like the RDram that comes with P4 motherboards. Anyways, read some stuff on that site, it's quite informative.
