  1. I just read about the KA game. All that sounds really cool, like you can see the damage done to ships, fly into nebulas and so on. How about in GCO or BC:M, are similar effects implemented, or can they be?
  2. Ok, I asked the question again. This is the answer I got from them. Now you can't tell me that DDR ram is faster. A.sorry, performance wise, RDram is faster, however in my opinion DDR is a better choice because of cost. Have a great day! Thanks, Peter Computer Services Group http://www.csg2000.com/
  3. All this talk is making me worried that SC will get upset and make the game SO HARD that then we wont be able to have fun but sweat behind the screen and think about the next encounter. So lets not mess with this and leave it up to him to decide.
  4. Damn, I just read what I posted and realized that the guy who send me the answer was drunk or something. I clearly asked which one is better, RDram or DDR ram. His answer is that DDR ram is the better one of the two (SDram and DDR ram). What the hell are people smoking?
  5. I send an e-mail to Computer Services Group http://www.csg2000.com/ regarding this question. This is what I send them: "You guys have excelent help topics. I have read about the DDR memory, but there's nothing about RDram. My question is which memory is faster, RDram or DDR, them being of equal value. exRDram 256 mb, and DDR 256 mb. Thanks for answering. " This was their answer: hello, the DDR ram is the faster of the two types (SDram and DDR ram) if you motherboard can handle it, definately get the DDR ram Have a great day! Thanks, Peter Computer Services Group http://www.csg2000.com/ Now the only thing I don't understand. If pc2100 DDRram of 256mb costs $96.10, and 800 RDram of 256mb costs $324.00. Isn't it kinda rediculous to charge that much for RDram if you can get better DDR ram for $96.10?
  6. Fallout, and Fallout 2. Those were really nice.
  7. The only thing I am worrying about is my 3d card. I got Voodoo 3. Damn 3dfx. I guess I will play the game on it untill christmas and upgrade then.

  9. I respectfully disagree. They just made the DDR memory sound like it's better by upping the numbers ex.pc1600. so that people would think that it's actually faster then RDram.http://www.csg2000.com/MyPage1.asp?HelpDataID=53 Read this.
  10. The other countries that don't have EB will get it if the other stores will want to order it after the 90 days exclusive with EB is over. After the 90 days I think it's fair game for whoever wants it.
  11. Are u talking about RDram? That thing is the best. I got a motherboard that supports RDram for my P3 533 and actually was using my computer as a host for networking. RDram performs like it's 150% faster then SDram with equivalent rating. 2 years from now when I will have upgraded my pc to the fullest and will be looking for a new one. I will most likely be getting an intell processor. Very happy with their performance, and so far very happy about RDram too.
  12. I think that the 90 exclusive will be exclusivelly EB in USA. Then after those 90 days even the Electronics Boutiques in overseas will be able to get it.
  13. I don't mind. Take your time, make the game great. As long as it will be there eventually.
  14. Yeah, the intro rocks, literally.
  15. I got a question about CTAS (component target aquisition system). What exactly does it do. What I think it does is let me select exactly what part of my target I want to shoot at, ex. engine, shields, armour, weapons, launch bays, etc.... Right? I just wanted to be sure, since nobody is talking about it, but it sounds very interesting.
  16. The man has spoken. I have one question, some time ago there was a mention of something of a sort of some kind of manual that will come out after the BC:M release and that will have more information on all the tech and other stuff in BC:M. Is that going to happen? Also is it in any way possible to hire someone else to do a manual that will be a little more fun then just a cut dry basics?
  17. Will the manuall still be thick?
  18. I am saving my $10 a month for GCO.
  19. Well, not every game developer is like Derek Smart out there.
  20. "but it is that "I'll never die" teen that will kill you. " That you will see much much much more on the road, especially from friday to saturday night.
  21. Black and white, from Lionhead Studios is finishing a patch with additional optimization for P4 processors. So, what I think is one rolling rock will start an avalanche. We will see more and more optimizations done for P4, especially on the future OS from microsoft. It's probably a good idea to buy P4 processor, maybe not right now but in time, when the prices drop and they themselves get a little better, but they probably will be better then Athlon eventually.
  22. He probably was talking about me. The reason I am putting people over 60 into a group is because it's a fact that as you get older your reaction and thinking porocess slows down, there's no avoiding it, so it's a good idea to take a driving test once a year from that age on because you yourself might be thinking that your driving is perfect but the examiner will tell you if it's still ok or not. That guy I saw was thinking that he was doing nothing wrong, but he could have killed someone when driving on the OPPOSITE side of the road at 35 mph. So you gotta realize that NOT ALL of us will be bad drivers after 60 but at some point or another ALL OF US will have reaction problems and so on after 60. It's just what life is.
  23. Very true. Don't use safedisk. There's a million progs that can very easily bypass it. I can even give you a website (to SC) if you want to take a look. But then again, pretty much everything else can be cracked too if you want it enough. Also it depends if you want a cracked version of BC:M or the original.
  24. LOL!!!!!!!!!
  25. Also remember, you don't actually need to do every mission. The game is very open.
